The storage experience was ok at first but then there was a roach infestation which made its way to my unit which they wasn't a roach problem when I first got there. I informed multiple people about it. The supervisor stated she would inform someone and call me back the next day which she did not call me the next day. I requested a 10' truck for a one way from Tallahassee, FL to Green Cove Springs, FL. I was redirected to pick up a 20' truck in Jacksonville, FL due to no trucks being available in or near Tallahassee. I was assured by the customer service representative over the phone that the mileage would be updated to account for driving to Tallahassee and back to Green Cove Springs. She told me I would not be charged additional mileage due to them changing the pick up location. I viewed the changes on my online reservation. Some how this was changed. I was only giving one way mileage and charged the additional mileage to drive back. This was not what I was told. I'm very upset. I called this morning to speak with someone regarding this. Unfortunately, I'm waiting on a Uhaul representative to call me back.Tyree B.

I accidently overfilled the gas tank because I was not given a manual at the time of rental. When I asked for a credit or refund the workers said it wasn't possible. But if I had unfilled Uhaul would have charged me $6 a gallon. Damned if you do, Damned if you don't. Most likely will not use uhaul again.Joshua A.

I would suggest more training in uboxs for employees. I had to talk to customer service every step of the way for some reason. The addresses they were trying to ship to wouldn't even do uboxs. Then I was charged another month for the 6 I got. Yet I cleared out all but one two days before the due date. My best experience was my final uhaul destination. The store manager was great. He fixed us all up, made us feel welcome and helped us with any questions we had. He was the best at customer service hands down.Natalie M.

I didn't select this location for drop off.... it was selected by Uhaul... it was literally 30 minutes away from where I lived, I tried to call to change drop off locations and the recording said a 40 - 50 minute wait.. My first day of rental was June the 25th, I tried to move my belongings in on June 26th, only to find that the storage rental space that I had rented and paid for was being used by someone else and had locks on it already. When I took my concerns to the front office staff there was much difficulty in finding another storage unit for me to use that was the same size , I was told they were unavailable at that point. Are the team members finally after quite a bit of waiting time found another unit that was a larger size that I did not want and said there was going to be a $36 difference to which I responded I will not pay a $36 difference because I paid for a specific size and I wanted to pay that price. I was finally accommodated by renting a larger size storage unit for the same price but only for this month. On June 30th, I received an email saying that my storage unit rental fee was past due and I was being charged another $15 parental that I've literally only had for one week. My storage experience with U-Haul is not going well I'm not a happy customer right now and I will not be using you all for any storage in the future because they don't seem to have a good computer system or staff knowledgeable enough to help me do something so simple as to just rent a storage unit.Eve J. | First Impressions
The manager Craig and his trainee Hannah was there they were so rude I had a. Appointment online for a 26' truck,the system populated the truck that wS supposed to be mine while I was there the assigned my truck to another person that was in line and told me that was not our truck. But It was assigned to me..started to yell at me, his trainee Hannah ignored me when I asked foe the name of the managers name she walked right by me and said nothing. This was the most unprofessional place I've ever seen. Wony go back. The manager assigned me a new truck that was not clean and it has mechanical issues. Service at local franchises was good, however, at the national level communication and record keeping were deplorable. My pods were delivered to my neighbors parking area to start and I was told UHaul could not move them. My filled pods were delivered to my local UHaul and then they couldn't be found on UHaul's tracking system. After much investigation they were tracked down to another franchise 50 minutes away. I called UHaul and arranged to empty our my pods, rented a truck locally and drove to this UHaul only to be told my pods were in storage and were unavailable. I had return the truck at the cost of over $225.00 loss to me and rent another truck for another day. I called the day before to verify my pods would be accessible and no one at the call center could get anyone at the franchise to answer their phones. Several messages were left asking them to verify and call me directly. No one called. I called again the morning I was to empty my pods, the same thing happened again. This time I called corporate offices, was sent back to the call center, called corporate 2 more times and finally got someone who was able to get through to the franchise only to be told that one of my two pods was ready for me, not both. I demanded that the other pod be retrieved and I be called as soon as it was available so I wouldn't rent another truck and make a wasted trip. The folks there did call me back a short time later and I was able to retrieve my belongings. I will NEVER do business with UHaul again and I cannot recommend UHaul to anyone due to extremely poor customer service at the corporate and in some cases. Local level.Debra R.

Get consistent with hours of operation. Store was more than 10 minutes late opening the day I picked up my rental. Also, the phone systems answering recording reflects weekday hours that close at 7 PM. When I arrive to return the truck after a very long 2 days I was told the store closed at 5 PM. The trucks ceiling was falling in, there were greasy hand prints everywhere. The interior was nasty. I had to put my 1 year old in this truck and feared for her to reach her arm out and touch anything! The ramp on a 26 ft truck is extremely short and a very high incline to move heavy furniture such as fridge large ac etc!! There's no way for 2 people to hold a dolly back with that much weight on it on a ramp that steep!!! Do better. You force people to rent from others who have the longer ramps that should be a requirement to move easily. Now my knee is busted and pretty sure my rotator cuff is torn! DO BETTER!!!! I am a very dissatisfied customer that they charged my account more money than I expected. Yes, I might have been a little late in bringing the rental truck turned-in but I did call the DISPATCH for U-HAUL and I told the U-Haul Service Rep. that I was on the way to the U-Haul on Normandy to turn in vehicle; she stated that I can park the car and leave the keys. But, the next day they charged my credit card a higher rate than what was on the agreement. I went from the North Side to the West Side on approximately 6 trips which includes 3 going and 3 returns. I even filled the tank with gas and they charged me for no gas and extra miles. This did not make sense to me; so hopefully in the near future that I will never use U-Haul and will not recommend U-Haul to anyone because of the extra blind charges that was not acceptable to me to pay. I was able to pick up a UHaul at this location after I went to 3 other places even though I had a reservation. My reservation was at 8:30 on the north side of Jax and I was not able to find another uhaul that I needed until 10. I felt as if the other 3 locations were giving us the run around and I was 2 hours late getting to my destination.
