I'm not sure why I was asked for my passport/references/copy of my lease that was needed for my app enabled check-in. It added a considerable amount of time to it and I don't understand why it didn't let me know that I have to bring this stuff when I made the reservation.

A confirmed registration done in Sept. with Pleasant St for a 20 ft was reconfirmed abbot a week or two before Nov. 6th. Late Nov. 5th learned someone had altered to a 10:30am vs my 7:45am pick up and when we went there , there was no truck. Lewiston St U-haul had one and we finally got it around 11am! Lucky since it did not rain that day, our Lions event was not too much affected. Lewiston was very professional and supportive. Why does this happen??

excellent service, worth the extra money to have my belonging in a clean and safe place. Originally had a reservation with Public storage, but when I went to the place it was dirty and it had holds in the roof. Also, it was not is a safe neighbor and I was worried.

Need more parking . You are not able to park your vehicle in the storage lot . They need to buy part of the parking lot across the street from the office , for customer parking, instead of having to park on the side streets.

Honestly the worst unit I have ever had due to one big headache I am sure the staff is aware of, the elevator. Besides that staff was helpful and polite only other concern I had was people walking in the faculty when I swiped my card that appeared homeless. I been homeless so nothing against that but for security I believe they should check in as well. The elevator is the biggest headache there though

Has nothing to do with the location.I made a reservation for Friday in New Bedford I was not notified that my trailer did not get returned so when I arrive I was told I had to drive to fall river 20 min away to get me trailer so already on a tight schedule I had to make it to fall river before the closed and then to inconvenience me more on my return I had to drive the trailer to fall river again even though I made my appointment in New Bedford not very pleased with the customer survive was inconvenience in more then one way and was never compensated for it was supposed to receive $50 voucher haven't received yet I am very disappointed and will let people know about my inconvenience and will most definitely never use your services AGAIN!!!!!!!

Gas charges are out of sight. Went 15 miles and was charged $20. If you rent put in gas when done. Gas charges were not explained sufficiently.

The after hours service is a wonderful idea but, it has many glitches that need to be fixed. From the uploading of pictures, to be kicked out and have to start all over again, and having to use a more recent picture, even though I just took it 3 minutes before. It was extremely time consuming and infuriating, to say the least. Please work on this. My experience would have been 5 star worthy if it wasn't for that. The truck was beautiful, handled well and maintained perfectly. Definitely a wonderful service just needs some tweaking. Gracias

I attempted 3 times to complete the online move in but I got an error all 3 times. Then, when I tried to do the process through the store itself I couldn't get hold of anyone. I was transferred to a representative somewhere that was very nice but couldn't help. We had to stop and pull over on our way Just to get this done which delayed us and almost costing us 100s of dollars.

Uhaul as a whole they are a bit above average but where I went to rent a unit it was very poor, I have been there quite a few times with a friend of mine and seems that there is always an issue at that facility, my experience I was at the facility for the opening time at 7:00am due to the online check out wasn't happening even tho I did it three times, I got there before 7 and the doors weren't open and ready to take anyone until 7:30, no big deal things happen we're all late every now and then, the person at the desk went to do my reservation and the final step she gave me my license and a written down number to uhaul and said idk why but I can't make it past the end here's the number to call, ok no problem, got in my car called the number mine u at this point it's 8am, I was on hold for ten minutes, not to bad, the woman on the phone was nice and helpful, she resolved the issue with the computers that day quickly and sent me on my way, I make it to the unit, opened it, and realized I had made a huge mistake and ordered a unit way to small for my stuff, now the unit was paid for the lock wasn't even used but I realized that was my mess up and didn't expect uhaul yo accommodate me for my mistake but seeing how I really needed something at that moment and something larger I took the chance of asking the person at the front desk if for any chance I would be able to hand in those keys and pay the difference for the next size up, she couldn't do the transaction I was told it was above her pay grade and that her manager would be there later on in the day but told me if it was something I needed ASAP to call that number she had given me once again, I sat outside called the number was on hold for 30 minutes for the rep to tell me that there is absolutely nothing she could do that the only thing she would be able to do was put a reservation on the upgraded unit but still have my original unit active so pretty much sat outside of uhaul for 30 minutes for some one to tell me pretty much that's I wasted my time calling, I left at this point already frustrated over 2 hours of my day was gone but bit the bullet because again my fault. Early after noon I called the location to see if the manager was there I was placed on hold for 20 minutes until I couldn't take it anymore and hung up, called them back and the person that put me on hold had redirected me to the uhaul 1800number once again lol finally after holding again for a while I told the person on the line what was happening (at this time I didn't know I was redirected) and the lady tells me that she can't cancel it must be don't at that location and if I wanted she could transfer the call there that's when I questioned why it wasn't a direct call earlier, she transferred the call and what do you know on hold once again. Couple hours went by after I hung up during the hold out of frustration and this time I took a different approach and did the live chat on the website, I believe the contacts name was amber and she was extremely quick extremely helpful, very professional told me she would email the GM, send me a copy of the conversation and send me the gm email just in case. Not very long after that call the GM had reached out to me and was very proper and professional, didn't ask me what happened who messed up didn't ask for details which I respected because even tho I had a aweful experience I wouldn't want someone to lose their job because of it so I liked that and he gave issued a refund, still waiting on the refund but that's to be expected

Doors and google state this operation opens at 7am but no one arrived to open the store till about :730am and unfortunately I didn't leave with a truck till about 7:45am and I had reserved my truck for 7am. Other than that everything else was good

You need to improve your customer service first. They are extremely rude and do not want to help. You guys changed my location and time for pickup three times within 24 hrs. It was ridiculous. You had it set up for us to pickup our truck in one location and the tow dolly in another. This was the worst experience I have ever had with you haul. The whole thing was absolutely ridiculous. You have the rules and laziest people working for you. They do not want to do there job.

There were several things wrong with my experience this time around- I had reserved online several days in advance. I requested to pick up my truck in Swansea and drop it off in Fall River, but this somehow got swapped. The email confirmation said pick up in Swansea, but when I called to let them know I was running a little late I was told my truck was never supposed to be there in the first place and I had to pick it up in Fall River. When I got to fall river I told them specifically that I would need the truck until 8pm the next day, and they said that all I had to do was request an extension online. Early the next morning I tried to request an extension and the website told me it was not available and I needed to return the truck by 4pm and extensions were unavailable. I paid for several pieces of equiptment that were never put in the truck, and I was assured that I would get a refund when I returned the truck. I had to call the next day to request my refund because despite the truck being returned empty, my receipt said all the equiptment I was supposed to get were returned and no refund was issued. I've been moving everything I own completely by myself, and this just made the entire experience significantly more stressful for no good reason. The only person I spoke to at any point who was even remotely helpful or understanding was Antonio. Everything else about this was a nightmare.

I went Pleasant st first then the Lewiston st off of Rodman to pick up the truck, after the gentleman offered to reserve it for me and the young lady wrote the Lewiston St FR address down for me. I just had the worst rude unprofessional experience at home Depot in Somerset Ma and the staff at both U haul locations went out of their way to make my day! The young man at Lewiston St FR was alone and had many customers and handled it gracefully. I would like you to reach out to all who served me and let them know how much they were appreciated. I would say they definitely deserve a raise even if its only 50 cents and hour they did not let the sale go back to Home depot.

My truck was not safe to drive. We told the agent how far we'd be driving. Approximately 200 miles each way. I was charged for the first half immediately. When we arrived at our location we had to call for a mechanic to look at it because it was excessively shaking and couldn't be driven over 60 mph. The mechanic said we were lucky to have made it. It was eventually towed from my house and now Uhaul is trying to charge me for 4 extra days. When I was contacted by the facility they said that would would speak to their manager and reimburse me for the day I used it. Not only did they NOT reimburse me, they now want $1200! For 4 more days! I didn't have the truck and they knew that! And to top it all off, I still had to rent another truck because we weren't done moving all of our things

The cargo van I rented was brand new, 200 miles on the odometer. Very nice ride. However, the key would not fit in the drop box slot, I had to pry the slot open wider to get the key into the box.

The manager and the employee's are super helpful and always greet you with a smile and try to accommodate whatever your need may be they all deserve a raise there since I've never seen a uhaul with friendly respectful employee's the uhaul in Stoughton is terrible the lady there is the rudest person I have ever met I walked out with out having my trailer hitch put on. Lewiston ST. Uhaul deserves pay raises and Stoughton deserves some people fired .. Thank You , Kerry Chase

This truck was very unsafe to drive, there is so much play in the steering wheel. Spoke with the general manager and he did help out with the pricing but this truck needs to be repaired ASAP before someone gets seriously hurt.

A little concerned that the associates were not wearing masks. She put hers on at end of completing the paperwork but the other male employee didn't wear one at all. Just saying I feel they should be wearing a mask at all times when customers enter the office. Plus they can spread it to the merchandise that the customers touch. The male employee was working on rearranging the merchandise on shelves.
