Went to office a couple times and it was locked. Had to wait 40 min each time. Emptied storage and wasn't called for 5 days with any type of concern. Building I used had no staff on site. Would recommend but with caution.

We were told our units were emptied and were told to call the police. Management never called back after 5 attempts. Also 2 occasions found mouse droppings scattered down the halls. We will be writing poor reviews with photos. This has been a horrible experience and we hope no one we know uses this facility

The customer service rep that was working on February 3rd at the Higley and Broadway Leisure World facility is AMAZING. This is not the first time we’ve had her help us, and I was so relieved she was working when we went in because she rocks! She is knowledgeable, helpful, and just who I would want working for me. All the young folks in your office are super customer service folks Be proud of these individuals. I talked with the young lady at falcon about the loud crazy music and she said she would fix it. Christmas music is now playing! The two young men in the leisure world that clean the space and I asked if they’d clean up a big grease spot in front of my space. It was handled in minutes. We couldn’t be happier here.

Amber is absolutely outstanding. From the moment I moved in, until my move out, she has provided exceptional customer service. I appreciate also the hard work of the other team members at this location to keep the facility secure and clean. Keeping the facility clean is a real challenge sometimes based on the level of disregard some tenants demonstrate while occupying the storage units.

The young man was friendly and helpful beyond expectations! It’s always been a pleasure dealing with office personnel! The facilities are clean and functional. One thing that is problematic is the music left playing! It is loud and rather obnoxious. It should be light and calming or not at all.

I would give the actual storage facility an excellent. Customer service, especially from the very rude and disrespectful manager, Ann Bandau, I rate as poor. Along with the fact that I tried on multiple days to call and advise them of my move out and they did not answer their phones a single time, instead sending them to the regional office which wasn't able to note my move out. Even after being sent an email from the regional customer support to please call me, no one did. I had to physically go to the rental office and that's where I encountered the very rude Ann Bandau. She is much too young and inexperienced, IMO, to be running an operation like that. As long as you don't have to deal with trying to call, the facility at Falcon Field is very clean and easy to access and always kept at a very cool temperature to protect your belongings.

I arrived at the staffed facility to rent a storage unit at the on-demand falcon field storage facility. The young man was friendly and rented me unit 1089. I went home and loaded my car full of heavy boxes and proceeded to the storage facility. I arrived at the assigned unit which had the green plastic cord attached indicating the unit was empty and ready for occupancy. I broke the green cord after loading my boxes onto the cart and proceeding to the unit, rolled up the door only to find it was filled with six large tubs from the prior tenant. I tried calling the office and hitting the customer service button on the security unit but nobody answered. I called the number that's on the large poster displayed on two places at the storage unit. I was on hold for more than 10 minutes waiting to talk to somebody but nobody ever answered. I called the second time and was on hold for 8 minutes and nobody ever answered. frustrated I put my boxes in the same storage unit with the other boxes and locked the unit and proceeded back to the man storage facility. I spoke to the young man and I was frustrated and told him I had called several times and nobody answered. He said gee the phone hadn't wrong and it wasn't busy and asked me what number I called I told him I called the number that was shown prominently at the falcon Field storage facility, and he said oh that's the wrong number. I asked him if they could have somebody take the other boxes out of my unit and he said no he would have to put me in another unit. I expressed him that I had already unloaded a bunch of very heavy boxes and it was inconvenient to me to have to go unload move them and put them in another unit. Nonetheless he told me that was the only option. So I went back to the unit unloaded my boxes drag them down to the other unit that he had assigned me and put them away. Overall the customer service was just poor.

While the unmanned share program sounds great in concept, mobile check-in did not work for pick up or return. Luck had it that an employee was leaving the storage unit and was able to help with pick up. But there was nobody to help upon return and phone calls led to automated messaging and an unacceptable wait time. It got to the point where I just took pictures of the trucks and mileage and left. Definitely need to work out the kinks.

This storage unit was so easy to rent, online information and payment from afar made it so easy. Well lit and clean but mostly SAFE! I would use this climate controled storage in the Falcon Field area with U-Haul again in a heartbeat!!!

When arrived at office for paperwork, the door was locked, and no sign was on door as to why office was closed. Person yelled from behind fence that there was an emergency at another location and that they would be back in "a few minutes" I asked what few minutes meant. He replied an hour and a half, (which would be 30 minutes before their listed closing time). I had to leave and tell my moving co that they would be longer. I came back an hour later,nervous about the time, and was told the computers were down, and they had to give me a loaner pad lock, since they were out. I was told to come back the next day, after four, for the paperwork and a real lock. The attendant stated he would give me an extra month free for the inconvenience. So I did come back the next day after four, the locks were still not in, he gave me another loaner lock. I had to remind him that I needed my copies of the paperwork, and he acted frustrated that he had to print them out. When I asked him about the extra month free, he told me that since I had another unit, that I didn't qualify for that, but he gave me the internet promo of the free month (which was what I was lead to believe when I placed the online reservation, and he stated "extra month"). When I questioned that, he became agitated and mumbled something about talking to his manager. I thanked him regardless, and left. I am still waiting for a real lock, and have to call them to save a trip to see if they received their shipment.

Every employee I worked with was super helpful. When I had forgotten to set up automatic payments, someone called me from U Haul to notify me before I missed a payment, and helped me set it up over the phone. If I need storage again in the future I'll definitely just go back to U Haul.

You should be going over the NON 24 hour access with new storage users. We were under the impression it was 24/7 then while there it shut down on us at 10pm. Now we still have items in our truck that our due back in the morning and we're unable to extend it. So now what?

The office/checkin is not at this storage location. U-Haul needs to advise customers to avoid the costly problem I had!!! I had used “Moving Help” to unload my 26’ truck. Therefore, I had to pay them while I drove to another location to checkin and get keys....not good! The facility is new, clean, and secure!!!

Over all good .... but I didn't know that by taking my lock off of the unit ... that you (UHAUL) would automatically close / cancel my storage unit. I was only gone for less than two days. I had planned to continue to use the unit but I guess not now.... Even though I took my stuff out of storage, I had not planned on canceling it. I guess I forgot our policy or maybe I never read about it, or maybe you never told me. Either way... I am out and account has been closed.

Ann, the General manager, was courteous, well-informed, patient and showed exemplary customer service skills. I was extremely impressed by how well she knew her job and with how much ease she performed her duties. She explained the process with great attention to detail and honestly showed through her fantastic customer service how much of an asset she is to the Uhaul company. First off my keycard didn't work to open the door to access my unit. I was issued a code which just happen to be the same code that someone else had chose in the same building. So then had to use a new number that I to remember that and write down so I don't forget. Then the lock I purchased didn't work in the cylinder and I had to call for help for the 2nd time to have the uhaul representative come down to my storage unit which is 3 miles away to bring me another lock so I could secure my belongings happen. It was very inconvenient and I wish this situation doesn't happen to other customers. After this situation, I will not rent another storage unit from uhaul again.

We weren’t able to access our unit (the very first time going to it) today due to both elevators being broken, and no access to stairs. Staff was very helpful, but limited in resources and maintenance staff due to COVID-19. Manager will be updating us with elevator repair hopefully by tomorrow! She is lovely on the phone, and very understanding.

Check in code did not work. Called office who forwarded me to customer service who told me the code was correct and they weren’t sure why it did not work but I needed to talk to the office. Fortunately an on-site employee came by and gave us a temp code after verifying our info. Original code still does not work. When I first made the reservation for my storage unit I was not given the green key to open the lock that Uhaul has on there initially. I still had to purchase the lock that Uhaul requires on their units but I was not told that there would be a green lock on the unit that needed to be opened by a staff member. I arrived to the storage facility with a Uhaul truck full of my possessions and no way of getting into my unit. I drove miles back to the facility that had the main office and even though office hours were not over, the person that was supposed to be there was gone. I was extremely frustrated and angry and I had to find other means of storage since the truck rental was due the next morning.

When I went to my storage unit for the first time I was not given the initial key to open the lock that Uhaul puts on their units. As a result I was not able to open the unit. I had to purchased the lock Uhaul required on the units when I made the reservation but I was not told that there would be a lock on there already. I travelled back to the main office miles away to ask if someone could open my unit and the front desk person was already gone before office hours were over that day. My frustration was very high at this point because I had the Uhaul truck full with my possessions and no way to get into my storage unit. The truck was due the next morning so I had to resort to other means to store my possessions.
