My only complaint is that I wanted to call the center to ask for an extension for the time of my return, the robo operator said I had a one hour and ten minute wait. This was longer than the extension that I was going to request. This would have been a major problem had I had an emergency to report.Toni Renee V.

I called and reserved a pickup and a flat-bed trailer to haul my F-150 home from Santa Rosa. I got them at almost 2PM after having to drive the rental truck 10 miles across town to get the trailer. I then went to Santa Rosa where I paid a wrecker to help load my F-150 onto the trailer. THEN I found out the trailer was almost TWO FEET too short to put an F-150 on.! I spent almost $400 on a trip that was absolutely wasted.! I returned the trailer and truck that night. If the person I reserved the truck and trailer from would have TOLD ME that the trailer was too short for an F-150, I would never have rented it and would be about $400 richer right now. Thanks a lot for not knowing what your own equipment will fit and do.James G.

There was only one employee working and we waited 15 minutes under the canopy for someone to unhook us. We unhooked ourselves and I went in to tell him and he said that was fine and our receipt would be emailed. This is not the service we have experienced at other locations.Karen M.
I have had previous, shall we say, "issues" when renting from UHaul in the past so I was leery in going with them again. But they were conveniently located and very economical. The rental went smoothly however when we got into the truck we noticed that the gas gauge was only reading 3/4 full. We took a picture of it with the mileage just in case (didn't know if it was a broken gauge or if it was really NOT full). We drove a total of 17 miles but when we filled the tank it accepted over $35.00 in gas (clearly it was not full from the start). Because we documented it and had proof of the gas sale, we were reimbursed for the gas charge and everything was made right. I went in for the return ready for a fight and was pleasantly surprised when the process was simple and I did not even have to negotiate for the gas purchase reimbursement. Good job guys, you have restored some faith with me. Perhaps next time just make sure the gas tank is full.Trevor P.

This location is the â€œBestâ€ location in the City of Albuquerque for all your equipment rentals or supplies. Equipment is always clean & available every time when I need it and that's frequently. Supplies are always stock as well. More specifically, the Staff are ALL very courteous, respectful, and very professional...as a customer this is very much appreciated. I turned the trailer in at this location on Saturday 03/20/2021. The guy who came out to disconnect it had a ( I could care less attitude) he disconnects it from my Buick. Pushes it into a parking spot and drops the tongue crashing onto the ground. Then walks inside. I am standing there like now what. So I walk inside now two guys are sitting at the counter and I as the customer asks. Is that it? the guy that disconnected it says, well do you want something else. I am dumb founded. I should have been given a receipt for turning it in. I had to ask for a receipt like I was interupting them from doing nothing. Zero customer service. He just left me standing in the parking lot. Truck was old and worn out. You could tell this thing is at the end of its life. Every time you accelerated it had that "wheeze" that those triton engines have. Sure the uhaul location itself was great and their GM was up there with his staff, no complaints there. But help him out, get him some new trucks.Timothy B.
I ordered two furniture dollies a week beforehand and when I arrived I only got one. The person said that they go out and unless they come back I only get one. He didn't care, it seemed. Surely within the Albuquerque region there was another dolly that could've been collected at the Eubank location and reserved for my needs. Poor coordination by the equipment folks in my opinion. What if it was the trailer that wasn't there?!Gary D.

every time I have used U-Haul the equipment and service is about and beyond excellent, this time was no exception. I spoke with two different U-Haul associates today and they were respectful and courteous. I hope you will inform them of the great job they are doing at the 1901 Eubank location. These folks want you to put more gas into the vehicle than what is there from the start. I traveled 31 miles in the van I rented, by their odometer reading. Before returning to this location, I put in a surplus of gallons of gas at a nearby station before returning to their location. When I returned the van, though, the agent who checked it out insisted that I didn't put enough gas in. I found the agent recalcitrant, unwilling to listen to me.Thomas W.

The cargo area was dirty and the outside of the van was really dirty. Otherwise, really low miles -- 2,000 and it worked out just fine. The 20" van prior to the cargo van was also very efficient for us. It was a disappointment that we couldn't get credited for the extra $30+ dollars in gas that we overfilled. Our staging company rents from this location on average once a week. I feel a bit ashamed that I haven't historically submitted the glowing reviews that have been deserved for the past several years. The service is consistently outstanding and I'm treated very well with each and every visit. Yesterday morning, Sunday 12/27, was the first time I was met with a less-than-good experience and I fully recognize that the crew could not have controlled the circumstances. When I arrived, the 26' truck I reserved had not been turned in yet, thus it still needed to be checked in and cleaned before it could be issued. As a result, I obtained the truck about an hour later than planned, thereby necessitating that I pay my 2 movers to sit idle while they waited for me at our warehouse. Got a crappy truck, the customer service wasn't great, tried to charge me again after they already charged my card 113.00, had to pull up my banking statement and show them. Did not have the truck I wanted they wanted to give a bigger one, which there was a reason we didn't want a big one. They never answer the phones they're always being rerouted to the call center. Went 20 miles out of my way to rent truck and dolly and when I arrived the location didn't have the dolly. I had to travel to another location to get the dolly. Customers should not have to travel miles out of their way to rent equipment because the locations near you do not have what you are needing. With all of the uhaul locations, equipment should be made available to customers at the nearest locations.Martin R.

DO NOT RENT FROM UHAUL! ANY UHAUL! Though this one has to be one one the worst. I called a day ahead and was told there would DEFINITELY be a tow dolly for my appointment the next morning. Not only was there no dolly-they said I didn't have an appointment. Not only that-they told me I must have called another UHaul. When I tried to show the guy the 2 phone calls on my phone to THEIR NUMBER-he wouldn't look and just kept saying I'd called the wrong place. So I asked to talk to the manager or boss. I was told he "couldn't talk to me today". So I asked that someone listen to the phone recording where they say "this call is being recorded to ensure customer service". They said they couldn't. By this time I'd been there an hour. So I asked them to help find me a tow dolly because I had to leave for a southern destination before the snow/ice hit. I had to FORCE the guy to help me find another one, by this time I'd been there over 2 hours. Then one was dropped off at his Uhaul-so I told him I'd be in my camper after he said he would come hook it up. 20 minutes later I saw him hitching up an auto transport to a woman's car--she was two people BEHIND me in line!! I asked him why he was helping someone else. He said he couldn't find me. He had my phone number, and I had told him where I'd be! All told it took me well over 3 hours to get it hitched up--too late to get away from the bad weather I was trying to avoid. So I got stuck with campground charges for several days because of it. I ended up calling corporate HQ customer service. I won't go into all the details except to say the story got worse-not better. I was promised a full refund- and what happened was extra charges on my credit card instead of a "full refund". That is wire fraud according to my attorney. When I called to find out where my refund was--they said my case had been CLOSED! I didn't have my refund, and the promises that were made were lies. CUSTOMERS BEWARE of THIS COMPANYChristy G.

Had rented a moving vehicle and when i got to location off Coors they couldn't find reservation.
