The keys/truck number didn't match truck number on receipt, and I didn't notice it until we were 3/4 of the way to our new home. When I called the pickup location, they were very helpful & said to call when I drop off truck & they would switch things over to truck I actually had. This worked just fine.Denise B.

Scammers . My prepaid reservation said no insurance . They took me to trailer .hooked trailer up . Then had me sign her cell phone screen . Which was tiny and in bright sun I couldn't even see where to sign . Get email reciept day later charged for insurance . Turn 2nd trailer in they check trailer out unhook it and move it to parking spot . When I get bill in email I am charged $200 for cleaning . I had cleaned it Andean as clean as I got it . if it was dirty they should have told me before unhooking it and I would have gone and cleaned it better. Bunch of scam artists !DONALDE D.

My reservation changed probably over a dozen times to different locations when i made my reservations well in advance. No accommodations were made for my repeated inconveniences. I missed christmas with my family and lost my dad and i wasnt able to be there for my mom due to uhauls unconcern for my business. People in virginia are rude and disrespectful and people act like its an inconvenience for them when you walk into the businesses for assistance. I personally as well as my extended family will never use uhaul service again. I ordered 2 trucks and 2 trailers at the same time and ended up going with penske for the 2nd truck after the dozen or so attempts at trying to retain my uhaul reservation and pick up time eventhough i had to drive almost an hour away for my moms trailer. I am so disappointed and disgusted with uhaul.JAMEYLEROY C.

Your self check in service needs improvement. I tried to check in my trailer with the mobile app. It would only show me about picking up the trailer. I took pictures and went home. I tried to check in the trailer at home on my computer. No it was not letting me get past the point. There should be options. Last time it would ask for a picture and just not accept it. This is my biggest pain point with uhaul. Too hard to pick up something and too hard to drop it off.PATRICKCALVERT H.

Too too slow; lack of help; I had to use drop box to return uhaul even though open because line was over extended; agent was trying yo work to registers at one time; she had no choice; but it was confusing on who she was talking to at different points; kudos to her for feeling she was managing it all, but from the customer side the service was confusing: she was talking so fast that to some they couldn't understand her; she obviously was doing what she had to do, but not good customer experienceJennell S.

Truck would not start--was told the battery was dead and the truck was "jumped" the day before. I was promised a $40 credit for having to wait for the truck to be services (new battery). That credit has not been issued as of 12/9. I am very disappointed and frustrated by this. I was told the "manager" was issuing my credit on 12/5 (the day I rented the truck). Very poor!!MICHAELH S.

Horrible service, grumpy, poor customer service couldn't tell if she was talking to you or someone else. Place was dirty. Picked up truck on Tuesday and there was a broken spaghetti jar on sidewalk in front of store with glass when I returned truck on Thursday glass and sauce still not cleaned up. Not impressedCara D.

I was charged incorrectly for gas. I put the correct amount of gas in it on my return. I call 800# and waited over 30 min before hanging up and called back the next morning work with Ms. Green got put on hold after 15 min she never came back on the phone. I had to hang up again. When turning in, rep stated he didn't have time to check me in. I felt strange about just leaving but he said it would be a good while before he could get to me. He was doing some wiring on another customer's car and he was the only one there working. Staffing shouldn't be the customer's problem. I told him there was quite a bit more gas in it than what was in it when I picked it up. He said that due to being short staffed and because I'd returned it with a lot more gas in it that he would give me a discount. He also stated that he would call me with the total bill. He did NOT call me and I received my invoice/receipt via email. He did NOT apply ANY discount. Poor service.WILLIAM W.

I will never visit this location again I have never had a problem until this time. Every time I have rented from there I have always had the trailer longer than I said at the beginning this time all of a sudden it's a problem and I get charged 50.00 for having it to long then they throw a 75.00 charge to clean it that's a joke it won't dirty for 1 for 2 there was stuff in it when we got it I guess they won't happy since they took forever to come out and unhook it the wanna stop in the middle of parking lot to answer there cell phone when they new we were there and waiting on them they are the slowest ever so me and my husband unhooked it and put it on ground are self I'm sure that's why I got charged that extra 75.00 bc never b4 have I that's ok I won't be a customer there anymore after this time I will go to Lowe's or Home Depot and rent b4 I choose U haul againBRANDY M.
Not the fault of this location â€¦ but we had to change locations twice, and still didn't get the truck we were promised. Ended up with a smaller truck and a trailer. Going to the first location and finding out there wasn't a truck and we had reserved it was a HASSLE.DWIGHT D.

This has been a nightmare. I have to rent a truck again tomorrow and arrange a larger storage unit all because your saying the storage unit was sufficient for a 2 bedroom apartment. It was hardly the size for a 1 bedroom. I had to turn the truck in and have to re rent it tomorrow to move the rest of the stuff after I get a larger storage unit which is another nightmare because we have to move all the stuff from the one unit to another one and I went to the uhaul storage office at 5:00 , the guy had just locked the door and was counting his drawer out and refused to come to the door to change the storage unit size your company is misleading people with. I have dealt with Uhaul 20 years and this has never happened before. It has to be the quality of the location area that he would not help me at 5:00 and caused me to have to pay for everything an additional day as well as moving an additional day. The truck had the check engine light on and flashing. I was told to just drive it by the U-Haul employee who rented the truck to me. The passenger-side mirror was broken and unsafe to drive. I had to repair it so I could drive it! The complete Mirror assembly almost fell off on the highway. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN U-HAUL!!!JOHN H.

I honestly had the hardest time getting the truck closest to my location. I had to use unnecessary mileage just for picking up and dropping off. I spoke to five different customer service members trying to rectify the situation and it just made it worse. Then I get there and the lady at the counter was overworked and presented me with a issue, I had to supply my insurance information for my own vehicle in order to rent the truck. I totally overpaid! Unhappy about that! I brought it back way earlier than expected so some sort of credit should be issued here! I'll more than likely never rent again, considering that I usually get one at least once a month! Totally upset!Ciara K.
The UHaul app needs to be updated/fixed. It wouldn't let me check in my UHaul when I was done. Luckily this location had a sign on the key drop-box that mentioned a website to visit. The website mentioned worked flawlessly.Matthew G.
