Return experience was odd. Pulled into return area and an employee (female) was cleaning a van. I sat for a minute or two and another employee (male) speeds through lot, stops, manually unhooks trailer from my vehicle, dropping trailer to ground. He then drives off. Nothing was said to me. Female comes over, visibly and verbally upset with co-worker. Was told I could leave and email receipt would follow (which it did).

Kimberly RThe fan for internal ventilation didn't work which meant two things: 1) Truck was heated only if the truck was moving, which was significant since we were driving in winter, sometimes slowly through snowstorms; and, 2) There was no fan to defrost the main windshield causing us to use whatever cloths we had to manually clear the moisture from the inside of the windshield, which was inconvenient and unsafe. Also, the right-side windshield wiper did not clear the window, and it made a constant clanging sound.
Robert RYour mobile app sucks....SUCKS!!!! Fix it!!!! I could not book the rental on the app because it failed to tell me what the overall price was. The rep at the pickup location confirmed that your tech blows. FIX IT!!!! This is the only thing that is horrible about uHaul. The gateway to rent from you could be much easier with some good tech BUT IT ISN'T!!! Why? you could be making a shitload more money if you would only make things a little easier for the customer. Fire the exec that got this shitty app, then take the money and pay a nerd to fix the app. Problem solved.

BROCK GI'm a very regular customer and I've never not paid fully when the rental was returned. I've never returned the rental in anything but excellent condition. Etc. Etc. I felt like a criminal taking mug shots on this last rental. I've never had to have multiple pictures taken of me from different angles, both sides of my drivers license, or had them call my phone to make sure it works and all. I guess they've had bad experiences with people stealing, but don't treat everyone the same. I have an 800 credit score and I've bought many luxury cars without feeling like this. Like a criminal. I won't be back. I also have a strong she unit there that I'm going to have moved elsewhere. I know they just got new management, but I never had an issue with the previous management They were actually great. This new management is AWFUL and needs to be replaced. This is in Peachtree City mind you and it needs to be treated accordingly.

Alfred GHaving used the PTC location several times, even for short term storage, my encounter on Monday, October 7th, with the young man at the drop-off area was odd. As I pulled up to the drop off area, he walked towards my vehicle, stopped and stared at me for 10 seconds and as I was losing my window, he walked away. I asked him what do I need to do and he didn't answer. I waited in line for about 6 minutes, got out of my truck and stared looking for someone to assist me. I got back in my truck and suddenly could feel someone at the back of my truck unhitching the trailer. As I approached him to retrieve my light pigtail, I said "thank you" and he walked away and did not acknowledge me. I realize employees have bad days so I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt. Not speaking to a customer, coupled with his bad body language, is no excuse. Poor form on his part.

DEMETRIUS VThe rubber mat in the back of the van needs to be secured. I recommend Velcro the mat to the van deck so that it will not scrunch up when you slide boxes and heavy items into the van. It is extremely a pain in the rear. When the rubber mat slides when items are loaded into the van.

If the U-Haul items that are reserved by a customer are physically not there for pickup, a U-Haul representative should call the customer(s) who is affected before pickup to let the affected customer(s) know the situation. It is disheartening to know that your reserved order is not on the premises while at the U-Haul counter! When customers reserve U-Haul items, they are reserved for a reason! ¡Gracias!

John L | Overall ExperienceJarrett at U-Haul 375 Hwy 74 S; Peachtree City acted unprofessional and rude towards my sister and I as I was surrendering my storage. My sister Charlotte had rented a truck and got a free storage with her rental. Jarrett was acting confused regarding the free storage units and said that he would have to call his manager. What he was stating to her was incorrect and when I attempted to correct what he was saying, he rudely fanned his hand at me to shut up. My sister and I shocked that he did this and if she didn't need the truck and storage I would have walked out and reported him as I am now. He stated that he could not transfer the storage unit over to my sister and that she's have to get another unit and we move all the items in a new unit. He repeatedly asked us the same information and when I stated that he's already asked us, he sarcastically said, well I've got to ask you the same thing so it's nothing to it. Nevertheless, he gave my sister a storage about five doors down when it was one the exact same size right across from mine empty. He only did the storage and we had to ask him again for the rental truck that gave her the free storage. He says oh yeah and then gives her the truck. I paid for her truck rental which was $52.27. I used my card. They gave her a truck larger than what she needed. She told the lady when reserving that she didn't need the large size truck and the lady said well you can change it for something smaller. Well she requested for a smaller truck and Jarrett got her one. He readjusted the rental and the new cost was $41.57 having a refund due to me. I asked him was he going to give me a refund at the time and he said no that I'd receive my refund when she returned the truck. He told us to leave the truck under the canopy and keys in the drop box. We did and my sister received her confirmation that they received the truck back. However, by the afternoon, I still did not see my refund posted to my card for the over charge. So I went back to the office and spoke with Jade Dickie explaining our experience and disappointment as well as me not receiving my refund for the truck size change. She proceeded to go into the computer saying she understood what he did and would process my refund-she then proceeded to tell me that I could get a refund because we wen over mileage which happen to be the amount charged on my card already. We did not go over mileage and she insisted trying to tell me why want due a refund. She then said-I can give you the $10 but you returned the truck a few over mileage. I politely asked for my paperwork back and told her that she could keep the price difference. This is not true and dishonest just as Jarrett married our trucks tank was full when it was missing a whole quarter tank in which took a picture. I told him it wasn't full and so did his co-worker. He reprinted the paper after changing the truck size remarking gas filling. Jarrett said I would get a refund while Jade said I wouldn't. What was surprising was how could you charge me for what I had not done yet. $52.27 is what was charged on my card. My refund total should have been $10.70 and Jade said that my refund covered the over mileage charging me $52.76 or so. This amounts don't add up and from the paid receipt amount of $52.27 and her amount of $52.76 or so didn't make up an almost $11 difference. I wasn't going to argue as I just got my paperwork and left. Jade then calls my sister Charlotte trying to justify what she did and my sister told her how they were unprofessional and did not handle things properly. She states Jarrett's behavior also and that Jarrett told us that my sister would get w refund for the truck difference size. Jade then tells my sister that she's going to give my refund of $10.70 and that it would take about a week or so for it to post. I WILL never use recommend U-Haul. She pretended to be surprised by Jarrett's behavior saying it was out of character but she would talk to him. Well someone should speak with them both and address the unprofessionalism and games they're trying to play. What seemed to be just a bad day now seemed like normal behavior. Disappointing and should I need a truck or storage in the future, I will gladly utilize another company who values and respect their customers. All is forgiven for both Jarrett and Jade but not forgotten. I will not patronize such places. It wasn't very much traffic there at the Peachtree City location anyway and perhaps people didn't need storages or needed to go elsewhere to companies that values their business. I hope this is address and used as a teaching moment. Have a good day and a better tomorrow.

They didn't just magically travel from our old house to the storage unit to our new house… I filed a complaint and I have not heard from any one at all about it. We deserve some sort of compensation so we can cover the cost to get all of these bugs exterminated. As I stated in my previous review about the truck, I will never use U Haul again and I will tell my friends and family to never use U Haul again. Jorge J | Overall ExperienceOnly two things need to be addressed at this location. The garage to door to bay number one was broken on multiple visits that had the lowest loading area for my trailer. Another issue experienced yesterday was a young couple backed up their work truck unloading small amount of items and leaving their truck that was empty in bay number two. My wife and I had to load our trailer utilizing the steps. On another visit in the past someone actually used bay one for parking the passenger car while unloading their rented 26' uhaul truck. They did agree to move their vehicle. If uhaul could be more diligent in repairing the garage doors and put up signs to encourage customers to move the vehicles once their empty out of courtesy to others. Another recommendation is to educate customers when they rent storage about these issues verbally and through paperwork that is highlighted in red. Through our experience with storage facilities this location was our favorite due to the friendly staff, cleanliness and the security.
