I had an initial reservation 5 minutes from my home. The evening before my reservation was moved to a location 30 minutes away. When I called to ask why or see if anything was closer, I was transferred to a total of 4 people, having to wait 6-7 minutes on hold before each person, some of them transferring me even before I asked a question. The morning of my reservation I headed to the location 30 minutes away only to find that it was a run down tire shop with no one there and the truck size I reserved was not there. I spent another 30 minutes on the phone that morning to desperately find a truck and finally was sent to my final location. There, they told me that they had double booked the truck and that they wouldn't have anything available for me initially. Finally they were able to find something at that location to make it work, but instead of one way like I originally booked, I needed to return the truck there later that day which overall cost more in both fuel and miles. The phone customer service and online booking through uhaul are overall terrible, and I will avoid using the company in the future.Danielle D.

I originally had a reservation at 2 other locations. The first neighborhood location passed it off to a uhaul storage spot. I went there to pick up and was told there was no equipment available. I was told to â€˜call around to other locations to see if they have anything.' I called the uhaul customer service number and was told that the person had not cancelled out the reservation. So again, I needed to call him to get him to do that and then call back to find other equipment. I went to this location, found the equipment I needed and rented without any problem. But I am pretty disappointed with the experience at the memorial dr uhaul storage location and the corporate team.Joe L.

I was disappointed about two things regarding my rental 1. The dolly I reserved was not available so I was given the appliance mover at an additional cost. I asked for the same rate at the one I reserved but it was denied. 2. When finalizing on the app I did not want to pay for coverage but could not advance to the next screen until I selected one of the options. It would not allow me to deny coverage and pay for damages if occurred. I did not have time to go back inside to argue with the staff person who was already not helpful by upcharging for the dolly.JOHN M.

I want to personally thank Asejuâ€¦ I know that's probably not his name. Young, Handsome, Black guy with locs. I know that's probably not your name I apologize. Anywho, he was super friendly and even though I encountered him at the end of his shift, he conducted himself as if it was his first hour. AMAZING! He was patient with me even though I was asking redundant questions and he was able to accommodate me even though I chose the wrong truck for my needs. He was great at reassuring me that I wouldn't be responsible for previous damage to the truck, as I was skeptical that returning after hours would make me some how liable. Keep up the great work. There isn't much good customer service left in â€œmy areaâ€ so it was refreshing to see it! Gob well done.Tierrica C.

Double check your trucks I got a truck with the check engine light on and the parking break light on even though the parking break was released also the break Patel I had to push so hard down to get the truck to stop that's is dangerous I could have rammed someone in the back. The staff was good but the maintenance on the truck was horrible dirty cup holders with crumbs in it and on the floor a whole tortilla chip on the floor next to the passenger seat not good at all.Erika W.

The reservations that I made was not accommodated I had to get a smaller unit! I was under the impression that I was getting the 1st month free which did not happen and was told that because it was the last unit that I couldn't get my one month free! I ended up having to take the unit because I had nowhere to put my things! I had to pack this storage to the door no in and out to find things that I need until I can move out! I have used U-Haul very frequently in the past and this is the only location that my 1st free months wasn't honored! For this reason I don't think I'll use U-Haul again!Queena M.

Make sure gas is in the truck rental. My husband received a 26" ft truck that was on E. He wasn't sure he was going to make to the gas station. We requested two dollies on the reservation that we made weeks in advance but nothing was in the truck and they were out of dollies when we did the mobile checkin. Poor customer service. I reserved storage unit weeks in advance with a credit card on file. When I got to the storage facility, the unit I requested was not available which cause me to have to take the next size unit at a higher cost. Rep said take it or leave it. How can I leave it if I had a moving company moving my property. No consideration what so ever. I would not recommend anyone to this location or to uhaul if this is the service you render to customers. If you reserve a unit that unit should be held if credit card is on hold to reserve it. The only issue I had was trying to reach someone in the office onsite. I moved out my storage on May 14th and I had just moved into my home. I did not hey chance to go back to the unit because I also had surgery scheduled.
