I had to drive across the city to pick up my uhaul that I reserved less than 5 miles away from me. They called and changed my location. When I arrived my 2 furniture dollies and appliances dolly were not available. So I had to go out my way to another location to pick the items up. When I returned the truck, uhaul changed me for over mileage. Why? I had to drive across town, then go to another uhaul location to pickup my accessories. Can I please get a refund. This has never happened to me. All my other experiences with uhaul were great.ANTONIO M.

Worst customer experience ever. Went to location and no truck. Was not called by uhaul that my original truck wasn't avaliable. I called and was directed to a uhual across town. I was also told I'd get $50 reservation guarantee. I picked the original location because it's closer,less miles. Went to location and got truck Dropped off truck and asked about $50 reservation guarantee and was told I had to. Go back to the original location. Or file a complaint.JAMES P.

make sure the brakes in the truck work. i was almost t-boned twice because of brake failure. the first time was just a block away from the facility and when i tried to let the employee know, she was very nonchalant and quoted it as â€œoperator error.â€nyla H.

You can start by re-training the little short dark-skinned (20 years old) girl on how to effectively close out transactions. Today I returned the 20' truck and followed the directions as I always do. I sat outside for approx. 13 mins AS THE SIGNAGE INSTRUCTED ME TO DO. I have returned many vehicles and I am very aware of the procedure. This very inexperienced cashier asked me if I'd bee n waiting long and when I told her that indeed I had been waiting, she politely began to blame me for my waiting, explaining to me that I should have come inside the bldg (despite the clearly posted signage outlining the return procedure. This employee seemed to desire an argument with me while at the same time apologizing as she stated " I'm sorry that you had a misunderstanding. This blew my effing mind! She even wished me a pleasant day. This little girl's behavior did not sit well with me and quite frankly misrepresented UHAUL in a most negatively. Please retrain your employee or GET RID OF HER.tina L.

Although I checked in online to pick up my trailer at another location, once I got there I was told they didn't have it and I had to come here. Very frustrating. No apologies were made for the wasted half hour. No one tried to call me or email me. Pretty simple stuff.Chad H.

I was incorrectly charged and have not received the proper credit back to my account. My rental was only a 24 hour rental and I was charged for 48 hour, and the the guy who checked me out was new and did not know how to fix it beforehand.Andre H.

I had so-called guaranteed reservations for a 15' truck for a couple of different weekends, drove from Alabaster to Montgomery, "Oh sorry, that truck isn't here..." That happened a couple of times before I finally got the 20' truck! When I did get my truck, I was told to come by at 11am but didn't get out of the facility till 12:20! The guy was doing his best but there should've been at least a second person behind the counter, that's a management good. When I left, the line was 5 deep and just the one guy. The lady at the BP where I returned the truck was super nice and very professional. Logistics seems to be an issue for reservations as I stopped at a few places after I got the truck and they said they had trucks to rent... I've never had any issues with your trucks except for simply getting one after I've reserved it a week ahead. Aggravating!PAUL S.

Military for 15+ years: Pickup location overall was very helpful but feedback for U-Haul Cooperate I would add: As the "customer" we should have the final say (for our convenience) as to where and when we drop off the rental. We had to air the tires up before and after loading the vehicle. We were told by customer service there was an initial fee of $300.00 for rental and when we return the trailer they would pro-rate or charge a $54.00 a day fee. This did not hold true. Very disappointed.gary C.

Got charged for $17 gas and it was â€œa hair belowâ€ where it was supposed to be. It was actually above where I got it because it was below where the sheet indicated - I gave uhaul the benefit of the doubt, will never do that again. I told the tenant the truck about shook apart going 60 mph. Response â€œI mean it is a 26 ft truckâ€. I guess that makes it ok? Picked the truck up at 8:45 am, dropped it off at 8:45am, charged an extra hour because I wasn't there by 8:00 sharp. Terrible, terrible, terrible experience. Probably will never use again.Ronnie E.
