I rented a brand new 2019 Ford F-150 pick-up for in town. The immediate previous renter must have chain-smoked 25 packs of cigarettes in the truck on a 5 day cross country trip; as the truck's clock was set on Pacific/Mountain time zone. The truck was being cleaned (cigarette ash still everywhere) as I arrived with my reservation. On departure the air vent coverup fresheners added to my noxious nausea onset. I removed the vent air fresheners, and had to park the truck and let it air out for 2 days before I could drive it (98 degrees) with the widows closed and a/c on. U-Haul should charge smokers a $50.00 foul interior cleaning fee for situations like this. This foul wasted my time and money

Marcus Jones was the onsite manager at the time. I had a reservation at 9:30 and when I got there at 9 there was a line ahead of me that indicated that no one had shown up and that no one was in the office. I called Mr. Jones and he indicated that he was on his way to handle the issue. When he arrived he remained calm and had a great attitude about him. I don't blame him for his employee not showing up. I appreciate how he handled the situation.

The uhaul I ordered was not at this location. I had to drive to a different location across town to get the truck I requested, even though this was my preferred pick up location. I was never notified of this prior to arrival.

My entire experience from picking this truck up was a total mess the management is very very unprofessional with me being a female and never use a trailer his way of showing me was a i dont give a fuck attitude no tyoe of passion for your customer and i would like for someone to contanct meon rhis matter. We originally reserved at the Millbrook location but they moved it to Montgomery and did a terrible job with the transfer. The information was incorrect so the person in Montgomery was at a disadvantage but was very friendly and professional and got the job done. I will never recommend the Millbrook location, they are a joke!

Not call me the day before and tell me that my rental in another city was no longer abaialable and make me drive an intown moce thatbwas to be about five miles into a 120 mile drive that cost me $50 in gas.

I didn’t choose these location on the app when I ordered the trailer. If you are going to change the location on me, which every I have done with your company you have, then why give me the option on the app. If I was in charge of your customer service or app support I would have fired someone. Unacceptable!!

Nothing against this location or employees however I reserved my rental online at a different location they didn’t have it. I called the 1800 number for the new location and asked about the guaranteed or $50 they stated it doesn’t apply even though online it prompt me of this guaranteed. Also at this location they said I didn’t book with a card online which I did but the system didn’t pull it over. Very frustrating!

The young lady was nice and welcoming when I went to pick up my uhaul. When i returned it, it was confusing. He said one the and when I got the email it was something different. I also called about the way the truck drove. It was very rough...

The location is bad and hard to find. One of the guys that was helping with the move, came in to use the bathroom and was told that you didn’t have one. It does seem like this a safe location. Especially if some is returning the vehicle at night and frankly I don’t feel comfortably coming to this location in the day time. There also need to be more than one person at all times. I do understand that you have cameras but what if someone came to the harm an employee. the deed will be done.

My reservation started off as a bit of a problem; I was supposed to pick up my trailer at Hair One Studio in Montgomery, Al. However when I got there, the had to redirect me to the Mildred Ave. location. However, the attendant at Hair One was very courteous. Upon reaching the Mildred Ave. location, Mr. Marcus Jones was Great. He was extremely courteous; ensured that my trailer was hooked up properly and took good care of us. When I returned a few hours later, Marcus met us out on the lot, and quickly unhooked the trailer. He made it a great experience. I have had some negative experiences with uhaul, but Marcus made this a good one. He deserves an At-A-Boy!

During open hours the location was locked even though materials, supplies, etc. were outside. No one was there to assist us. I left the trailer with the telephone help from the rental Pick Up location.

The Uhaul broke down. Customer service was a disaster. It took a couple of hours to get a service technician out to even look at the truck. Once it was decided that the truck was no longer drive-able it then took 23 hours for the truck to be towed.

Firstly, I booked online, we to one location and had to be sent to another. Once we arrived to this location the agent was very unknowable. The 1st location on Malcolm Drive told us that we should get a $50 guarantee for all our trouble. Agent at court st said he never heard of it. Wasted over 1hr of my time

Trailer may have caused fuse to blow in trailer running light circuit. Left turn, Right turn and brake worked fine.

Worker called me and stated that they didn’t have a 20ft and that she would update grade me to a 26ft at the same rate. When I got there had to wait over an hour an a half and she couldn’t change the rate. She made several calls and she still could not change the rate so I had to pay for a 26ft.

I went to the East Blvd store but they did not have a 6' x 12' trailer. So Christal Chapman help me and she searched all over Montgomery, Al to find me a trailer. She found me one on Court street. Christal was very polite and helpful. Her customer service was outstanding ! The young man at the Court Street store was very nice and helpful also. What great employees !!

No one called to schedule pickup after I made the reservation. I called And MAKE THE ARRANGEMENTS To pickup from location 3.9 miles from Windmere which is not a uhaul business before 4pm WHICH reservation WAS TO BE 5pm. Then I had to travel to other location which was downtown. ONE WAY STREETS NOT EASLIY NAVIGATIBLE IF YOU DONT KNOW AREA. GOOGLE MAPS SENT WAY OUT OF ROUTE. THEN, I HAD TO REDO RESERVATION-PROVIDE ALL INFO AGAIN. COMPUTER WENT DOWN, NO RECEIPT OF PAYMENT. HAND WRITTEN NOTE WHERE TO RETURN TRAILER. THIS TOOK 1HOUR 45 MINS TO GET TRAILER SHOULD HAVE TAKEN LESS THAN 15 MINS FROM TIME I LEFT SUBARU DEALERSHIP TO PICK UP TRAILER. The guy was doing everything possible to do his job. Reservation failure do to incorrect uhaul dealer scheduled. This delayed us getting on the road 2 hrs.

Clerk was late arriving, seemed to be fumbling with the reservation. Asked me where I was returning the van, I told him I filled out all that online, he said it wasn’t showing and he didn’t know. I gave him info again, then he told me I owed $1.01 on the reservation. I asked why, but he couldn’t explain it. So, I laid out cash and he informed me that he would need a $100 cash deposit in order to accept the $1.01 due on account..... so he charged my Visa $1.01. Really!?? I had workers lined up, so I didn’t have time to argue, but the experience was not a positive one at the rental location. Next time, I go back to Penske.
