I was told the truck had a full tank of gas. When I got in I saw it was half empty. I went in to let the guy know and he said he would be out in a minute. I waited more than long enough, went in to the garage area, found someone else, who instructed me to click on the text link and make a note that there was only a half tank. My point is, I was never told about the text link before and my time could have been saved if I was just instructed to do this in the first place.William C.
Have the person who is teaching the new employee how to attach a trailer to a customer's hitch to pay attention and get off his phone. He missed two steps that if I was not watching, I would have had an unsafe connection as the light connection was overlooked and I was being told that my 2â€ hitch ball was too big. This was also a disservice to the new employee. Also, I ordered a dolly and it was forgotten.GEORGE H.

Your mobile check-in process was a nightmare.. Wasted an additional 30 minutes trying to get one of your staff members to help and once I was helped, the woman had no knowledge of any of my questions. Only response being â€œI work in storage, I'm just helping todayâ€ and making no effort to find the answer for me. My furniture pads were not packed even though I scheduled days prior, so I waited another 5 minutes for her to do that as well, putting a damper in my moving time and the time of the gentlemen I hired to help. The tank was less than 1/8 full and nobody went over what was expected on return of that specific truck. I would not recommend this Uhaul nor use them again.Ronald F.

The vehicle was new and had 177 miles on it. At about the 500 mile mark the vehicle over heated. It had no coolant or water in it. I called for help but help was 2 hours away so I dealt with the issue myself. I have never had this problem with a uhaul vehicle. Very disappointed.Jess L.

It would have been nice to have a dolly available in the truck. The truck I rented needs new windshield wipers. Paying for gas should not have to be on the customer especially when the tank has to start and finish at half a tank, it makes it inconvenient for moving longer distances.Tyler T.

your locate in Cave Creek is rated superior. However, not being from Cave Creek I was somewhat disappointed when I learned the location was just off InterState 17 and not located in the town itself. I saw a u-haul truck and trailer parked on a parking lot in Cave Creek and thought that was the store location and to my surprise I had to drive 10+ miles to drop off the trailer.Daniel P.

The catalytic converter has been stolen off the truck and the engine light was on because of it. That should have been explained to me before I got into the truck. There was no Dolly and blankets in the truck and the checkout asked if I used it and gave no space for me. The truck road extremely rough down the highway and felt like it was on a horse. Felt like there was a flat tire or a brake on or something. Trust me there was nothing wrong on my part, the truck just rode rough.LINDA F.

The staff at this location is excellent! They were always extremely kind and helpful to me and my sisters. We had to go through 2 storage units filled with our late father's belongings, and Austin even gave us a 3rd unit for free for a month so we had room to sort without blocking the hallways. The staff here goes above and beyond, they are so nice! If we ever have storage needs in the Phoenix area again, we will definitely go back to this location. I'm sorry but I lost my optimism when these reasons were presented to me: 1) My unit was not what I reserved. 2) The unlock/securing-support does not function. I cannot use it without banging on it with a hammer. Difficult to lock my items & until it is fixed-NOT SURE HOW LONG YOU WILL DELAY THAT. 3) I am challenged with any loads I want to take there. 4) I still don't know if this unit will be large enough since I lost significant space with the 30"+ diameter concrete post in the center! 5) Could not even get the climate-controlled unit I reserved! Your crew there did all they could to assist me. My dilemma with the unit closure not working is not their fault. Notes were made to alert me when a unit that I attempted to reserve becomes available. At that time I will decide if I want to pay movers AGAIN to move my items. I sent a friend to pick up a key card for me because I was arriving after store hours and she told me the person who helped her was super rude and condescending and not really helpful at all. This location also charged me a month earlier than both what they were supposed to and what was confirmed online, causing a $36 overdraft fee and draining my bank account while I was already having money deposit issues. I've also tried contacting the general manager for the Cave Creek location multiple times and no one has gotten back to me on anything even when they deign to answer the phone. They take a message and the call is never returned. I don't normally leave reviews, but I'm just really frustrated with my experience and that I'm basically being ignored.Justine H. | First Impressions

I had 2 storages one in Anthem and one in the 101 and Cave creek. As I was moving out and the direct line to the storage was busy the online service respond I did ask for the dates it was due and after this they mix them up and I did move from the one I had more time and only few days of the other one . They will not give me extra time to stay and I have paid 20 days extra . It wasn't my fault I have used your storage for 4 years, never late.
