I had ordered a dolly that wasn't there. Employees weren't helpful on getting the right vehicle. When I tried to return the website wouldn't let me, saying I hadn't checked it out yet.

Benzin T.We drove from FL to WI to move furniture that was inherited, booked the uhaul trailer days beforehand. The day before we get a call that we have to go to another location because the first one didn't have our trailer. The morning of pickup we go to the new location, fill out all the paper work and id just for them to tell us they don't have a trailer on their lot. Even though we were told to go here. We then go to a third location that we were sent to and the staff was not helpful at all. After almost 2 hours later we finally got a trailer to drive back to Florida with the same day as pick up. Not pleased with the overall experience. How ever the equipment was great, we drove 16+ hours with no issues.

So when they finally decided to reach back out I was told that there was nothing that they could do for me, so I asked for the person next person in management I can contact so they gave me a number but turns out that number was a Fake. I have never had this happen before. But this was really bad Customer service.

CHRISTOPHER P.Called the local location I rented from to request an extension on my rental and the woman I spoke with was rude and told me I would be charged a fee and then hung up on me. Called the 1800gouhaul number and they were very friendly and assisted me in scheduling a later return date. Additionally, the truck I rented had some significant damage and when I informed the woman working she told me to just take pictures and didn't bother looking at the truck. It had a large dent, smashed brake lights, bedliner damage and made some unhealthy sounds when driving. Voiced my concerns to the other employee working before I left the uhaul location with the damaged rental truck and his response was simply, "damn people beat the hell out these trucks" and then he walked away. I took several pictures of the damage and then left with the rental truck. Finally, upon return I was informed that I would be emailed a final receipt and I have still not received any sort of receipt though I have been charged for the rental. I have always had positive rental experiences with uhaul and I was fairly disappointed with my most recent rental experience, mostly stemming from the poor customer service. I will look to rent from a different local uhaul location in the future.

Could have used just a little better communication between the person outside and the person inside( a quick radio call would work) The right side mirrors did not adjust properly. with a little force, I was able to get them into position, but it really needed oiling on the swivel part. Other then that thanks for the help the day went great and as expected!!

James T.The center opened at 45 min late. Once I picked up the key for my truck I had to wait an additional 15 min in the truck for a employee to move the truck in front so I could leave. When I checked out my truck I asked if I could come back to pick up the trailer a few hours later to help with parking; they said that was no problem. I came back and they had canceled the trailer order. The truck's headlights were aimed like brights should be, the brights lit up the sky. Horrible experience.

Heather N.Poor is an understatement. Insulting or Predatory may be a better way to describe my experience. I have little doubt that you filled the truck back up to a quarter tank just to get the next customer with the fine print too. You should be ashamed to work for this company.
Brian M.Truck was honestly a danger to be driving. Previous driver had hit the headlight on something so it was popping out of the body. Headlight light was very hit or miss if it actually worked. Drivers side door didn't close all the way no matter how hard you slammed it close. The inside of the truck was leaking water both in the cab and the cargo area. Also renting via the mobile pickup didn't save anytime. The truck that was assigned was parked in by 2 other trucks so still waited in line and had to be reassigned a different truck. Gas was already on low fuel when I got in the car. Is no one looking at these vehicles when they come back?!? Seems really unsafe.
Joseph S.The store opened 40 minutes late. The staff was not prepared. They gave the keys to the vehicle I rented to another person and then drove away with it. What should have been a 5-20 minute process took well over 2 hours just to get my vehicle. I will never go back to this store.

Ivory B.I had reserved a truck on Sunday 4/24/22 for a 9 am pick up time. I arrived at 9:05 am and had to stand in line for over an hour to get my truck. There was only 1 employee available to check everyone in/out and 1 other employee outside handling the lot. Once I finally got my keys I had to wait another 10-15 minutes outside as my truck was blocked in by 2 other vehicles. I had people waiting at my apartment for over an hour for me to help with my move. This was very inconvenient for everyone concerned. I have used this location in the past and had not experienced an issue. I would think twice now about returning to this location due to the extremely long wait time.

Quote" we did not have the unit she wanted so I just her one" quote." When I expressed my disappointment she was very rude and did not accommodate me at all. Of course I was upset because I had movers there and it was a big inconvenience.had to find another option that lead to sufficiently more miles and time. Please train your atority how to handle customer complaints accordingly especially when it's their error. Thank you uhaul and I will continue business limited..

Than when I complained about her mistake she refused to give me another unit at another place because they in fact did not have the actual space there. So my mover had to reload all the stuff and I was left without anywhere to put my belongings. Of course I was upset I just believe she was totally at fault and should have corrected her mistake. I called and stated I did not want the climate controlled upgrade. Staff said they documented my refusal to upgrade. I received bill charged at increased rate for upgrade. Multiple attempts to reach manger unsuccessful. No one could find any documentation of my call to refuse upgrade. So after four years of storing I cleared out my storage and would look for another option in the future if needed.
