I learned the hard way that you have to have them look over the return before leaving. Got charged $50 for some unknown reason and the employee couldn’t tell me why. The female employee was not exactly welcoming or nice.

ALBERTO ALAMMy cargo van rental went off without a hitch (pun intended). I was in and out and on the road in record time. The Ford van was perfect for the job at hand with plenty of room. Overall experience was excellent.

Catherine GarnerTruck very beaten up and ran poorly. Location didn't have key in box when I arrived. Checked truck back in after 2 hours of use, app had issues doing the return online so I parked and dropped keys on box around 1:00 PM. Line was too long to wait as I had somewhere to be. Called later to confirm return was done, got corporate office because that location never answers the phone.Tjet said they made notes about truck being returned amd saw today I was charged an extra day due to no one at location checking key box from Saturday until Monday o guess to see the truck was returned after only 2 hours of use. Called Uhaul again today, of course call went to corporate office as they don't answer phone at location. Uhaul repmadvised they will look into over charging. Been using uhaul forever and will need a truck in the next two weeks for major move and realize I'll have to use someone else. It's a shame.
CHRISTOPHER O'HARETruck had transmission issues. hard to shift into Reverse and Park. Needed maintenance, but overall the truck ran fine. This location is always friendly, courteous and professional.

Luis N EscanoEverything has been great my driver did say that it was very inconvenient for the drop off location once we got to the destination in 29910 I’m not familiar with the area but I had to pay him extra and wondered if there was one closer that he could’ve done for. the drop off. This was my third time using U-Haul and every one of them went great and every customer service rep I spoke to was friendly knowledgeable and I will always recommend to friends super satisfied with my experience
sharron morrisonIt was not a major issue, but the truck was leaking what I think was power steering fluid. I was afraid to drive it back to return so I called Uhaul for a tow. And the key did not fit the lock that was provided. I would still use this company and recommend them, because I feel like this was a one off. I was not inconvenienced in any way.

Henry PerryTerrible experience! Truck broke down I was charged extra fees and very high gas prices to refill the truck. How am I going to put gas in a broke down van?
David DrakeThe team member that helped me apparently needs a LOT of training. The location was short-staffed but that wasn't really the issue. The team member was not very familiar with the software and as we walked through the options, wasn't listening well enough and I had to correct the selections multiple times. It was really hard to see the computer monitor; they should know to turn it for the customer to see. I don't blame her but I believe that she just hasn't received appropriate training.

Josh BrownI was a walk in. The lady at the location on Cobb Parkway and Old 41 didn't have the equipment but still jumped up to serve me and found the closest location with my need and called to make certain it was there. She logged in all the paperwork. The young man at the other location (Piedmont and Canton) couldn't have been nicer. He was prepared when I arrived and had me out of there just as quick as could be while making sure the trailer was secure and the lights were all working. Excellent experience at both locations!

(Just a walk-thru door, not for unloading) , otherwise a trip around the building is necessary, unsafe, and inconvenient at the present. Please consider this.

There are quite a few U-Haul’s very close to this area and I would drive past all of them to go see him again.

John KresseTrailer lights were not working properly. Now I see my credit card is billed for “toll lane violations after I disputed the original email. I have a peach pass which was on the vehicle towing the trailer. I paid my toll fees. Your trailer was not operating to standard and I was not even apologized to when I mentioned it to the associate at drop off.

Risheet JaggarowThere are no instructions where to park. I parked in front of the front door. When I got out of my car I asked the guy coming out where I should park. He said I need to go inside and ask. I did and she told me to park where the other enclosed trailers are parked. When I got there she was walking away from me and didn’t acknowledge me. She stood behind the trailers, out of sight. She didn’t acknowledge me. Her only interaction was to tell me she had done my sign in. She was very impersonal.

I wasn't greeted when I came in to pick up the vehicle, to words were said to me, "let me get your drivers license, and are we using the card on file?. After inspecting the vehicle I looked at my charges and collision damage was added to my bill without my knowledge. The vehicle was fine, but upon return I told the person checking the vehicle in that the collision damage was added without my knowledge, and he said "oh". I asked was it mandatory he said no. Yet I was still charged and didn't need collision. This location has employees without a sense of urgency nor do they have basic level customer service.
LaDona mccaskelHello. I love U-Haul but today and it partly my fault because I trust people to be honest. I didn’t notice until I left that the gas tank wasn’t at a 1/4 of a tank, I didn’t think to take a photo of but filled it to where it was when I left. It was just under a 1/4 and I told the guy when I returned the truck, needless to say I was charged 40 dollars for for about 2 or 3 gallons of gas. I’m sure I paid for gas in someone’s personal vehicle. Even at 4.50 cent a gallon it wouldn’t add up to 40$ it was almost at the 1/4 of a tank! The same place it was when I left.
Carrallyn MitchellI had no issues booking my rental online. However, picking the rental up was a horrible experience. When I walked in to the register to pick up the truck, the girl at the counter(I believe her name was Breanna) didn’t even acknowledge me. Once, I had her attention, she was very short and rude with me. After she received my license and verified the reservation, she just handed me a key and said the truck was over by the green tent. This took me by surprise since there was a parking lot full of trucks near the green tent. I had to find the truck on my own. She then just dropped the equipment I rented off by the garage door, and walked back inside without a word. The strap to hold the dolly in place on the back of the truck was damaged, so I went back inside to let her know. She said that they usually just put the dolly loosely in the back of the truck face down. At that point, I just gave up with her, and went on about my business. I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone.

She responded when I said good morning, but it felt like it I was disturbing her. I was the only one at 7am since I had a function to do. First time the customer service was below my expectations at 2800 Canton Rd.
Alfredo HarewoodWhen we reserved the vehicle the day before, we selected the use of an appliance hand truck as well. However, upon checking in the next day, we were told that this location did not have any more and hadn’t had any for months. This was a bit frustrating because there were hand trucks on the floor for sale and hand trucks inside the maintenance garage you could see as it was open and visible from the parking lot. The website shouldn’t have this as an option if the location doesn’t offer it, and the company should help the locations be better equipped. We had to drive to Home Depot and rent a hand truck which was ended up costing us extra.

So as we were crossing over 41 we hit a bump and the trailer jumped off the car. I called roadside service to see if they could bring us another ball but was told we needed to go back to your store. Our house was closer so we made it there and switched everything out. This could have had a very different outcome and I think your employees need to know to recognize the size issue.

ELAINE BALLARD | Overall ExperienceThe consistent inconsistent changes are punitive. Uhaul's policy to raise the rental fee holds the renters hostage. I live in Hawaii and my storage is is Marrietta Ga. I received a notice that my rent was increasing which I understood that had the option of paying my rent months in advance for the same price or continue month to month at an increase. Having a contract of a set price for a set time would be more equitable.
