The trailer we rented was dangerous and we are lucky to have made the 500 mile trip without incident. One of the tires we showing cord and secondary rubber and could have blown out at any time. Luck was on our side with this but the entire trip was extremely stressful not knowing if we would make it. I want to make sure it is know the guy checking us out was great, and very nice. It was however dark and we could not see the tire at this point. I gave this location a 3-star rating not for his service at all but because they rented us an unroadworthy AT for a 500 mile trip.

The employee who answered the phone when I called to confirm my rental was incompetent and rude. Upon arrival he proved his incompetence by taking over an hour and 20 minutes to dispatch the vehicle. The vehicles were high mileage, poor on fuel economy, dangerously under powered and the steering had about 2 inches of play in each direction. The fuel gauge was also in accurate and I had to fill up the tank to get it to move past the quarter tank mark. So I ended up returning the vehicle with a full tank instead of the half tank I was given to start my trip.

Please do a thorough review of management in place currently. I am a repeating, and loyal customer whom family, friends, all come to this location in Buford to get service and business from here. However, recent management has changed the overall business operation and experience is not as how good it was. Totally disappointed due to staff's attitude, especially the staffs on duty (manager + Assisstant) on 01/16/2021. They will not have any courtesy to repeated customer, they also don't care about customers at all overall. Not good listener, not a problem solver, do not offer help/assistance. They just want to finish their hours and go home, that's all they expect us customers to do without any thorough/verbal instructions of contracts signed.

The employee was very rude and nasty. No knowledge about the system. He said everybody has the same reservation number. Just to mention one of many issues. He tried to send us to another location because he was looking at a previous cancelled order. Very bad experience. And the employee for returning the truck had the same attitude rude and not helpful.

The guy in charge of the return/drop off process has no customer service skills.i literally pulled up to drop the van off and he took the key.He walked up to me and handed for the key. No friendly hello or greeting. Very cold and no human emotions. The only words that came out of his mouth was him asking me if I wanted a paper receipt.If I had to choose I would bypass this location. receipt. I hope his 2022 is better than his 2021.

I used this location because it's super close to my destination and when I called they picked up right away, the rates are amazing especially for what I needed! When I receive the truck, I was very unhappy. But you need to remember this is not for luxury or showing off a nice vehicle. I'm am using this truck to pick up an order to bring back home and drop the truck back off. So what I got is perfect for my use. Now here is my problem…. The truck I received was dirty and muddy all over the sides which doesn't bother me. What bothers me is that the interior smelled like cigarettes so badly with ashes on windows and inside on dash… I don't smoke and never will. But this didn't bother me either because it's simple as rolling down windows … problem solved … The problem I'm getting to is when I returned the vehicle. I was told I'm getting charged an additional fee of 25$ for cleaning. That is unacceptable for renting a truck for only one, one and half hours. It didn't rain and no mud around.

Called this location several times before pickup to confirm and no one answered. went to pickup truck and staff was rude. Woman at counter was a complete jerk. repeatedly talked down to me when asked questions. they basically threw the keys at me told me where the truck was in the yard and told me to pickup my own moving blankets. I will probably never use uhaul again because of this experience. I would have walked out and told them to keep the truck if I didn't need to have it that day.

Brakes seemed shakey on truck. Otherwise so happy to get a truck on Saturday. Woke up to death in family. Hard situation to deal with. Rep at 1st had no vehicle. Understanding on a busy day. I explained my situation asked if she could refer another location. Right then a truck pulled in. Site cleaned it up did a quick inspection and I was on my way to one of Hardest moments I had deal with. Store was very sympathetic and empathetic Overall great service.

1. What was to be perceived as dead vermin (rodents) upon entering the main storage facility- not the unit itself. 2. Bait box top seemed to be off and not connected to the unit. 3. Rat poison was chewed up into literally really fine pieces along the back wall outside of the bait box. 4. Staff put a lock on my unit. This unit was paid up $450 through July 2022. Therefore, this was not a matter of non-payment; instead, I did not put a lock on my unit. Moreover, I understand the lock was put on for safety. However, staff did not give me a courtesy call resulting in me having to go buy a lock cutter to remove the lock. The cutters cost me $40.00 and my movers charged me over time in the amount of $100.00. 5. Storage facility is 20 +/- years old and needs a face lift to possibly a remodel. 6. Danielle-General Manager was great. Other staff over the phone was horrible and had poor verbal customer service skills to customer when they became uncomfortable. This is a coaching opportunity.

Staff was very rude and unhelpful even when we had done the entire reservation and check in online, insisting we had to have a second person as a backup contact to call right then. Staff was on their personal phones the majority of the time we were there, one staff member that was helping us just walked away without saying anything at one point leaving another person to help us, and they didn't even help to hook up the trailer. They just stood there on their personal phones. We had to prompt them if the lights on the trailer were working correctly and they just said “yeah they work” and didn't even look to check, leaving us to do it ourselves.

The truck stalled on the interstate and i was barley able to make it to shoulder in a terrifying maneuver during rush hour traffic 5 miles from rental office. I called the office where we picked it up from to notify / get instructions, and they told me there was nothing they could do for me but to call call the 800 # for uhaul. Luckily, after letting the truck cool and this happening 3 more times (over 2 hours) we were able to make the trunk limp back to the office, as we figured with rush hour it would take many hours after an already long day for some kind of service/ tow to arrive. Not the hassle free / risking my life in rush hour traffic experience i was expecting.

I can't recall the ladies name but she was the manager or in some sort of leadership position. She was very well spoken, listened as she dealt with customer who was in default. I was impressed with the way she handled that. Great job!

Don't be so rude to the customers renting your equipment. Don't make them have to give a reference who has to be called on the spot to verify who they are and that they're getting a trailer because obviously that can be faked.

1. Provide upfront "total time to finish the job" when booking 2. If a technician is not available, let the customer know. 3. If someone is going to wait for 6 hours, like me, LET THEM KNOW in one shot. 4. Telling a customer it will take 20-30 min at least 10 times, does not help! (I got fucked real bad) 5. If technician is inexperienced, and cannot install hitch, on a car, it's ok to loose that customer's business, and save the reputation. 6. Coffee machine was non functional and there were no coffee cups in the waiting area 7. The place need regular bug service, they were crawling at the rate of 20 min/bug. I saw at least 6 types of different flying and no flying insects. 8. At least have a custom to provide an apology or some compensation, if you made. a customer wait for ungodly hours without telling the customer upfront.

They ask for an alternate contact that they call while your there and needs that person to answer the call otherwise you cant rent equipment from them. Such a stupid company policy and thats why i will never rent from this location again.

Location is awful so hard to pull in and out on such a busy highway. Filled the truck back up with gas at where it was when we rented it and then charged us for gas. The people at the location where not very friendly and made a big deal that they had to change mine and my husband phone numbers. 🤬🤯

Place moving blankets reserved in the truck or at least tell us where to pick them up. Accept returns of unopened new rug bags etc without a receipt. Obviously they are your product. Answer the phone. Return phone calls. Provide customer service training to your staff. Be helpful.
