Michael W. | Overall ExperienceThough I haven't used U-Haul too often, probably less than two or three times in the last 10 years. Every time I check in they always tell me that I owe for gas. Every time I approve that I didn't and was not charged. But it seems like one hand doesn't tell the other what's going on. And I'm glad I took pictures of the gas gauge along with the mileage. But it's every time I rent it seems you try and get me for gas. Otherwise the staff is very friendly and helpful though the vehicle I did rent smell of an awful lot like cigarette smoke which I noted on the check-in.

They then gave us one with someone else's property in it. When alerted to this we had to help them remove all the property.that was in it. No one knew the combination of our lock. In the end we were there for hours waiting to simply store our furniture

Terry C.When I got to the location the employees left trucks block the drop off entrance which in turn made me stop in the middle of the road and block local traffic before I had to find a way to turn around a 26 foot box truck, until a employee and another CUSTOMER, moved the trucks. The employee there was not at all helpful or friendly

Cynthia D.The lady that waited on me was very rude and disrespectful..and I reserved the trailer a day in advance, the guy the made the reservation for me told me it wasn't being used ,asked him if it was OK to pick up between 4 and 6 and was told no problem..when I got there around 430 there was no trailer.. the rude lady that waited on me told me she was using it and her vehicle that was towing it broke down and said she didn't think she was going to be able to get the trailer back on the day I reserved it .... no call from company to inform me that it wasn't going to be there...it was a reck.. I would get anyone from them ... also tryed to get propane tank filled and they refuse to do it do to it was to cold outside.... The lady's Name was Michelle.... very very rude lady ..

Katrina M.I received a free month when I rented a truck. I signed up online which was easy. Only issue I had was I could not see easily what building my unit was in. But it was clearly marked with phone number for manager. He answered right away and walked me through the process and let me know which building I was in. It was super easy. Unit and building was clean. Great experience
Lori K. | Online Move InThe rear left turn signal and brake light malfunctioned. Roadside assistance was a huge hassle, couldn't find my contract, name, email, phone, nor trailer number. I had to call my original location to get help. Kirks Mobile Repair out of Lee's Summit, Mi came out eventually to troubleshoot. The tech didn't know what he was doing. Told me my truck had a bad relay, and that the trailer had LED lights, which it did not…it had incondescent. I had to convince him to probe my four way hitch light connector, which shoveled it was receiving the turn signal, then I had him check the trailer hitch harness, which was receiving a signal. Then I had him dismantle the left rear talilifht assembly and test the wire connection, which was receiving a signal. Which meant the sealed light assembly was faulty. He couldn't find a truck stop or parts store open, but came back in an hour with the part and then fixed it. This was a three hour hassle, and I'm very dissatisfied with the whole experience. I asked for a discount, but the tech that took my return didn't offer anything.

Phillip M.I rented several trucks in a 3 month period as well as 3 storage units. I just want customers to be aware that even when u put fuel back in truck u will still be charged for fuel. Even if u empty storage unit u will be charged for empty unit and get late charge. When u get a truck ensure u are being charged correctly. I experienced all 3 of these issues. Didn't get charge back for fuel. Had to let them know they overcharged me to get that money back. Had to leave work and drive to location because they never answer phone to get 200+ dollar charge removed for empty storage unit. Hate to think uhaul is shady but after all the money I spent at this location I can't believe they tried to beat me on 3 separate occasions. Note to consumers. Take pictures of truck fuel and empty storage unit. These people are horrible for stealing from people especially the way the economy is. I work hard for my money and really don't appreciate a company trying to steal it from me. Had I not had the 1st incident with empty storage locker I wouldn't have caught the fuel charge or the overcharge. Customers beware. They won't correct it and act like u did something wrong. Consumers please protect yourselves and your money

ANTOINETTE B. | First ImpressionsThe three main reasons I chose to store my RV at this facility were the security, having a roof over each space and electricity being available to charge the RV battery. I rented this space for 14 months and for most of that time the electric would not work. The GFCI outlet would trip anytime I tried to plug into it. I complained to the local office staff and corporate, but it was never repaired. My RV was brand new (2021) when I started storing it there and never had any problems with my RV tripping other GFCI outlets, so it wasn't my RV causing the problem. I was actually told by another customer that it had always been that way. It was a nice facility other than I may have to replace my battery now since it's been dead for so long.

I have always promoted uhaul for their professionalism and how well the customer service there is BUT not at this location. The manager was completely rude and was a complete jerk to say the least. If this is how the manager acts, well he's setting a horrible example for his employees and is making the Uhaul brand look extremely bad. When I asked who his boss was he literally told me that they won't care and won't want to speak to me. I am totally appalled by how the manager spoke to me and treated me In front of his employees and other customers. I will tell everyone I know and meet to NEVER use this location and maybe not even recommend uhaul at all anymore.

At which time I gave up and hung up the phone. I went in to the facility. I asked several. Times if I was going to be charged the first unit and the second unit I wanted to switch to. I was assured I wouldn't be since I had never even gone to that first unit. Today I see I have been charged for both. I need someone to contact me asap to get this resolved!
