Great service! My only recommendation is to improve the process to return a truck after hours. I waited about 15 minutes on hold to speak to a customer service representative because the stated process did not work properly.JACQUELIN C.

I originally scheduled a pick up for 8 am in Auburn, but was told it would have to be at 3 pm and in Columbus because they had no trucks available, which I understand. I was frustrated with the fact that I reserved the truck online (and thought it was done with) until I received a call from uhaul informing me of the change. I also couldn't drop the truck off in Auburn, I had to drive BACK to Columbus (50 min drive in one direction) and they didn't cover any of the miles, despite the fact that I would've only driven 20 miles with the Auburn location and drove over 100 with Columbus. Almost the same exact thing happened with my sister too, so I know it wasn't a unique experience.Courtney S.

I was notified 2 days before my move that I had to drive over an hour to pickup my uhaul in a completely different time zone. I wasn't even going to be compensated for the extra miles I had to drive until I requested urgently to the representative over the phone. The representative acted in a unprofessional and unapologetic manner for the inconvenience that we were caused after securing the uhaul 2 weeks prior. Prior notice (before 2 days) that there was not availability at the location would've been bare minimum in regards to customer service, but I expected to at least have a location closer than an hour from my home as we prepared to move to a different state that day. Threw a massive wrench in our plans. Really disappointed overall and will definitely use a different, more reliable service with my next move.CASEY H.

Have locks for the trailers in-stock and free for use. These trailers are U-Haul's equipment, and securing them should be U-Haul's responsibility at least as far as the equipment goes. Furthermore, the $100 insurance that I paid for should also cover theft, especially if this company is going to make me pay for a trailer lock to fully secure the trailer and then not have it in stock.ABBY G.

When taking reservations over the phone make sure you reserve the correct size truck for your customer. If a pickup truck isn't available let the customer know ahead of time. Do Not put them in a big truck that they do not feel comfortable nor safe in.DELETA D.

Rude. Didn't have all the equipment I reserved and failed to make me aware so I had to scramble to find what I needed. They had no compassion or empathy and didn't try do make it right. They service was Mediocre today I was not greeted just asked if I was returning a truck. When we went outside he looked at the truck told walked around it cranked it to check gas and then told me I was good and sent receipt right away. He looked to be the only the staff working that day he had several returns just sitting outside so the returning lane was full. This could have been the reason why he didn't present good customer service but I would still refer to a friend as I have had a few good experiences here in the past.TERESA M.

This was a bad experience all around this location is only partially responsible for a couple out of several issues first my rental was booked on the wrong day by a U-Haul rep so when I arrived to pick up my truck it wasn't available I was directed to Box Road location which costed me 80.00 the rate my movers charged per hour. â€œThey move you but you provide the truckâ€The gas gauge wasn't working so I'm sure I put to much gas in. I go to turn in the truck the app is malfunctioning so I couldn't check it in. I go online to chat with a rep she assured me someone wld contact me within 72 hours they never did my request was submitted on 6/7 it's now 6/16. I even emailed customer service before I chatted with the rep to express my dissatisfaction with the entire process nobody has bothered to follow up. Today 6/16 over a week later I was charged 180.31 for a 3 day rental when I had the truck less than 12 hours. Had someone took an interest in my situation and responded they'd know I couldn't check the U-Haul in online due to their system issues. The email was sent simultaneously and mainly to advise of issues dropping the truck off informing them of website problems. If they felt it was a discrepancy they have cameras. Customer care stated she saw my email as well as my conversation via chat she couldn't say why nobody responded. She also couldn't rectify my being billed incorrectly so again I waiting to hear from someone.NIKEAL W.

I hope I never have to move again but if I do I will not use uhaul! The locations for pick up and drop off were fine. My problem is with Uhaul itself and the 10th ave location in Columbus. I reserved the only truck available (which was too small, but that was all that was available) for 10:00. I did not get a truck until 11:45. Almost two hours after my reservation time. I had movers waiting at my house everything was scheduled around my reservation time and Uhaul caused a big delay and cost me money. Apparently the truck I reserved was dropped off in a different city. That's not my fault or problem but Uhaul made it my problem. I find it hard to believe that in a city the size of Columbus that no other truck was available. This is a military town with an extremely transient population. If I were moving in town I could have chosen from over 20 trucks because they were sitting on lots but I was moving out of town. It made an already stressful day much more stressful. No I am not happy with Uhaul nor will I use them again!Christy K.

There seems to be no sense of urgency from the employees no matter how many people are waiting. I love Uhaul but I would not recommend this location to a friend. When I did the "move out" paperwork online before my next payment was due, my emergency contact and myself were then harassed for over a month. I had rat/ mice droppings in 95% of my boxes. Rats/ mice had chewed through my clothing and other items. I had to throw away so much stuff due to the rats/ mice destroying the items. Almost everything smelled like rat urine and this was a inside storage room. Several expensive items were stolen from my storage and the staff, manager, general manager nor the owner did anything!
