Pick up location was changed last minute by uhaul without proper notification. Vehicle was not cleaned and ready at time of pick up. Location did not have the packing blankets that were ordered causing major delays in the move.Daniel H.

Your mileage for your vehicles are too high you should give a local driver at least 10 miles free I just have a flat rate I ran into vehicle for two hours and he charged me $.79 a mile I did 328 miles and it cost me almost $100 that's ridiculous so what I'm saying to use that is so nice that amount is too high for any charge for a vehicle for two hours thank youKingzell J.

Windshield was so dirty the sun glare made it impossible to see. The manager was very friendly though. Also, I reserved a truck 2 months in advance and had a pick-up location about 7 miles from my house. The pick-up changed to 40 miles from my house and the price went up because the drop-off location was changed.Tim W.

The equipment I rented has a broken driver's side rear view mirror that I had to bring to the attention of the agent. When I arrived at a my home a short time later with the truck, the mirror fell off and I could only hold in place with duct tape and zip ties. In an attempt to change unsafe equipment, I spent on hour talking to three different phone agents, one telling me "good luck," another telling me they "weren't authorized to change equipment," and a safety agent telling me it was my decision whether to drive on interstate highways with a duct tape and zip-tied mirror. I wound up driving the original equipment with the broken mirror, a malfunctioning rear door and a appliance cart missing a rubber belt. Because of the time wasted trying to get a safe truck, I lost an hour and was charged a late fee for returning the truck late. Over 40 years of of relying to UHAUL for my moving needs ends with this experience.Jonathan E.

It took 40 minutes to get the truck. Totally unacceptable. I did self pick up option and still had to get in line and wait to get the keys. Also the approval process had to call my daughter to complete final approval process. I could have got in line and had counter person do the entire process in 10 minutes and they would not need to call my daughter for verification purposes. The passenger side mirror was cracked badly and it was not referenced in the pre-check photos. If I had not noticed the damaged mirror, I would likely have been charged for it (not good).PATRICK W.

Bridgeport office was helpful with lack of packing blankets in contacting other facilities but evidently a challenge throughout the SW Connecticut area. Uhaul needs to provide more support to their local facilities by shipping blankets to offices in need.Joseph C.
Had to hook up and check trailer on pickup myself and park trailer myself on drop off. Employees clearly unable to safely use/move/hookup equipment. No issues with interactions, employees need to be better trained for safety purposes.Scott J.

I rented a pick up truck with a four wheel trailer.Went to pick up and the tire light was on.left rear needed fifteen pounds of air.They took care of that.Go to drive away maintenance needed light is on.had to go 250 into mountain of New Hampshire to pick up a car.Driverside sunvisor wasd snapped off,then when parking truck keyless remote not working had to lock/unlock manually.No big deal.Car is inm middle of nowhere go to tie down car to the trailer and one rear holddown strap was broke in half.Had to temporary repair with part of strap from another strap that I had.managed to make it home informed u HAUL REP OF THE PROBLEM AND HE STARTS SCREAMING(LITERALLY)AT ME AND SAYS TIE DOWN COULD NOT HAVE BEEN BROKEN WHEN PICKED UP.Then they have the nerve to charge my card 72.00 for a new tie down.I have used U haul many times and it has always been a good experiance.This time was horrible.Henry F.

Disrespectful young worker in the parking lot, they don't know how to speak to the customers. Plus When I got inside there was no worker and when someone arrive they were not paying attention to me. Yes or no answers here are not adequate. For example, my storage space was clean enough, but light not working, so it was pitch black inside. The staff did their best to provide a substitute battery light, but it was not properly maintained. Also, I was not aware that the space was down a long flight of stairs, no elevator, no ramps for hand trucks. Very disappointed with that.
