Everyone was so sweet and helpful. We made the appointment and paid for the hitch online and then realized after we got there we actually clicked the wrong vehicle. They scrambled and quickly found exactly what we actually needed, had it in stock and got it all finished even before my appointment was actually scheduled! We were going to drop it off early in the morning and had an 11am appointment but needed to get to work. They called me by 11:15 to let me know it was all done! They were so kind and so helpful! We need more companies with employees like them! Thank you so much!

Quick and easy to rent a truck, no hangups, great staff.

The only reason I am giving a 3 and not a 2 or a 1 is they got me in the same day to get the installation done. The techs neglected to put the the fender retaining screws back into the vehicle when they were done. I was lying on my back in their parking lot to put them back in. Good thing I carry a small tool box in all my vehicles. They also didn't install the wiring harness plate on the underside of the vehicle (as is outlined in U-Haul's step by step instructions on YouTube). They just laid in the back of the vehicle. I would have gladly paid the extra $6 to have it purchased for the installation. It appears that no one attempted to reinstall either of the lower plastic underside covers. According to U-Haul's video on You Tube, the passenger side should be reinstalled. They also forgot to mention that the way they installed the hitch was forcing the plastic cover on the lower bumper to protrude from its fittings on the passenger side. Another thing I will have to fix now. It appears they are severely understaffed and I do feel for them but I was willing to wait on a job well done rather than settle for shoddy workmanship.

I had to make a quick change from an open trailer to a closed one to pick up my motorcycle, and the person working there was super helpful with it. I even ended up buying a tow hitch from them. My truck tires were a bit low, and they didn't hesitate to help me fill them up. Overall, it was a really good experience, and I'm definitely planning to go back whenever I need to rent something. They've got a lot of different things you can rent, which is great. I truly recommend checking them out.

Mr. George was the staff member that greeted me and answered all my questions. Mr. George was the first person at U-Haul to ever let me know, My needs as a renter of U-Haul equipment, were most important. He went out and covered everything on truck a first started with the lock on the loading area door, so I would not have to purchase one. Later in the week he rented me a dolly for a washer and dryer I purchased and had it sitting out front waiting on me, when I arrived. Mr. George is always moving around the facility, checking on everyone and every thing, an awesome employee for U-Haul Thank you Mr. George and U-Haul on Beal Street Ft. Walton Beach Florida. Excellent experience. George was very thorough in reviewing my options on a trailer hitch without any pressure to purchase. Pick up and drop off was super easy with Heather and Jaden. I was surprised at how busy it was and everyone had a great attitude and were quick to help. It was so nice to deal with friendly and knowledgeable staff, you just don't find that very often anymore.

Wow...great service. The three ladies working this morning were so friendly and helpful. It is nice to see a smiling face when you are working with staff members. Also, when I returned the trailer, I am not the best driver backing a vehicle but the young lady that guided me ad detached the trailer was so helpful and enthusiastic. Your team is nothing less than exemplary but most importantly, genuine. True superstars with drive and motivation. Definitely need to promote them when the opportunity arises

Rep fairly personable. Fuel was marked at 16/16th's but actually at 15/16'ths. The location and qty of vehicles is honestly all that keeps me returning to this location. All in all it got the job done.

The service writers and the technician were all very helpful, informative and professional. The technician also caught the mistake from corporate about the hitch that was supposed to be used. They wrote down the wrong vehicle (Santa Fe vice Santa Cruz). The technician caught it in time before I arrived and install the correct one. He did a great job installing the hitch and wiring harness. Looks GREAT!! I would definitely recommend this U-Haul store!!

I reserved a pickup truck because I needed to tow a lift to a job site & my truck was in the shop. The day of 4pm pickup, I go to get the pickup, no pickup, it had not been returned so they give me a box truck which the hitch would not allow me to attach the lift. I go back to tell UHaul (now close to 5pm) & the pickup is just being returned, I didn't bother making them clean it. That customer gets charged being late & I get charged for my rental. I get a lot of frustration and wasted time. I will NEVER do business with your company again and I will be sure to tell my friends & family not to use your company.

I reserved for a pickup truck for 12pm so I can pickup some furniture I was on a tight schedule I did not get the pickup truck. They had to give me a box truck instead. I didn't leave until 1:30pm.so now I felt rushed. I know it wasn't the place's fault and they tried their best commodate me and that's why I still recommend this spot. There was friendly and professional. But overall the experience was just average.

Extremely difficult to return the vehicle online via the app. There is no cellular signal at the location so we had to leave and complete the app but without prior instructions you had to take photos of the vehicle, interior and exterior. We had already returned the vehicle and deposited the keys in the mailbox. The complete instruction should be posted somewhere visible, but they are not. Dangerous location trying to get in and out of the parking lot. If his ability getting out onto Bill Parkway is horrible.

Until I checked out Thursday you would of had a much higher rating however we paid almost 200 a month to keep things is climate controlled to keep them as same condition however one dresser has moisture to the top that was near perfect condition now and is not so good condition now! I reported it however they had closed out my account and called the manager after in which it was said there was nothing that could be done! So disappointed! I moved the furniture to different storage in hopes it will at least maintain its condition but the top is ruined and will have to somehow be covered to look presentable! I wish the young ladies at the location would have better exsplained that they had JUST CLEARED MY ACCOUNT! I had no choice but to get it done as I had to leave town on emergency and not sure when I will be back to report otherwise! Over the past 8 months between truck rentals and storage I’ve spent a small fortune! I have 2 more units I need to move but doubtful I will be using this company or recommending to anyone! Very disturbing every one out for that almighty 1.00 and customer services no longer seem to care! The one company I still trusted has joined the ranks with the rest! ! Very upset ! This furo was is outstanding condition purchased in 1987 ! Was not perfect but near perfect condition passed down to my son! I had pictures that was taken prior to moving it to storage as I took pictures to remember my parents home after my dad passed and my mom sold her house! So much for vintage or antique or heirloom! You really do need to do something about the moisture in the units! People being Charged way to much to have furniture destroyed! With working on base plenty of folks to worn about these units and company! Don’t believe in my eyes this is over!

General manager was very rude. Was told i was not alloed to use the electricity to charge a phone or use the water there at all. There was fiberglass in the unit somewhere and it got into my husbands skin. They continued to pull money from my account after he evicted us.

Hard to get in and out of when other people are living in their units or are at their units working on their vehicles every time we came into ours. Prices are too high for a small, non climate controlled unit. The only reason I got this unit was because I got a month free when I got my uhaul trailer, otherwise I would’ve found elsewhere.

I've had to use multiple storage facilities before, but the U-Haul off Beal Pkwy has by far been the best. It's clean, well lit, reasonably priced, and doesn't smell funky. What really made me love this storage facility, was the people who work there. They were all so extremely helpful, understanding, and just plain sweethearts.

I closed out a storage unit after several years and we needed to to take the contents to New Orleans. There were no trucks available at the Beale street site and all 3 of your staff got on their computers and found a truck for us just a few miles away. Your staff went out of their way to help us find a solution. Top notch.

The staff was less than nice and there was constantly trailers in the way of the ramp for loading into the storage area.

Cons: - Much older than competing businesses - dead cockroaches could be seen in the hallways - access to the ramp when using a trailer was very difficult due to vehicles and the propane filling station located right at the bottom of the ramp, I had about 2ft clearance on each side to work with while reversing the trailer into a corner. Difficult task even for experienced drivers - forced to buy a circle lock before I could use unit Pro: - 1 month free due to my uhaul trailer cost - staff was pretty friendly and helpful
