When we arrived it was slow, their signs had false discounts. When we went to the trailer the tire was low with air, it then took almost an hour to change the tire. I was the one renting the UHAUL but the man for some reason preferred to talk to my brother who just came to help. I was also told I would receive $50 for the inconvenience when I returned the trailer as well as my deposit, which did not happen. I was also never sent a second link to provide pictures of damage done to the trailer before my use. Poor services.Michael K.

The van was not in good shape. Mechanism to prevent fog in glass window did not work. We had to drive with the windows down. We were asked to pay a deposit and money was not returned as promised. We had to return to the location the next day to get the money back because it was not deposited.LINO C.

The inside of the truck smelled like a farm and was covered in mud. I had to get a second truck because of this The staff were rude, dismissive and not helpful in any way. Some of your measurements for your trucks and trailers are only for the inside, if you can do it for the outside as well because when you have to go onto a ferry you have to give outside dimensions.ABRAHAM L.

I am rating below average because I first booked online truck with phone unlock feature and went to the location to see the track and was not able to get it. The shop owner was not there for support. Wasted precious time to discover after 2h that the location I booked from did not actually have phone unlocked trucks. Waste of timeBassem F.
- Picking Up: I learned that the truck was loaded only 1/4 of fuel in the truck. Seriously??, If it's filled up (as most rentals), I can use, and just fill up. Here, it's only 1/4, and, I had to worry about emptying gas whole times, and fill up only 1/4 to return. How do I know how much fuel is to fill 1/4??, They gave a ballpark, but, Still, why don't you make easy for a customer by filling up? Then, I don't worry about the gas, and just fill up. - Return: The clerk said I made a mistake by approving the condition saying that it filled up 'full' gas even though it was only 1/4 full. First, this problem will go away if you filled up the gas full originally. Second, I am not sure how that happened. I did not see the option that change the gas level in the app. So, it's confusing, and wasting times. I had to wait there more than 30 min just to correct this issue. Please, please, just fill up the gas like all other rentals do. This is the worst rental car/truck experience I have ever had in 30 years.Paul Jong Suh K.

it took over an hour the forst person had no idea on what was happening i was sent to this location from langley as they did not have 20 ft as I reserved so I had to take a 26foot in which I was told would be same price as 26ft well that changed when I got there and I had to pay 200 plus dollars extra with less km so I started dealing with another agent after an hour and dealing with traffic I Atleast got.more km but still had to pay more for the truck, the first agent grabbed keys from the board that said to inspect I questioned her and said is that truck ok I am driving into the mountains she said yes, well in fact it was not exist leaking had to put spark plug leads back on as truck was mis firing brakes were squealing all when there was keys on the board as ready to go, I was happy at least I was given enough km to do the job as I rent frequently and had to show the representative my other reservations that clearly gavee enough to do round trips on flex pay in turn helping uhaul getting equipment back to better locations for rentals and saving my company moneyJASON Y.
we had completed our online check-in in advance but the lock box was not working. we then had to wait in line, which took quite a while to get through. upon opening the box, it was the wrong key for a vehicle we did not order. we then had to go back and receive additional assistance while there was still a very long line. a 2nd employee tried to open the box with the correct key but could also not open it. after giving ourselves ample time, it did not seem to matter as there were only 2 people working at the counter. overall it was a pretty awful experience.BRUNO T.

The process was slow. The truck felt it is about to die. Staff wasn't knowledgeable and kept passing us for us to make a paymentEVGENIY L.
-Slow awful customer service. -Uhaul app not available in Canada. -Online check in is terrible. Still had to wait 45 minutes in line for the key. -Parking lot absolute chaos. No where to park personal vehicle. -mileage showing on the online checkin didnt match the actual truck mileage -Low tire pressure light, and check engine light on. -Truck was in terrible shape, front smashed in. Embarrasing to drive. -upon return, the guy helping me literally said â€œsomething went wrong with your online check out and it shows the truck didnt leave the yard!â€ Overall a very chaotic, disorganized, frustrating experience. EVERY customer waiting with me said the same thing. I will NEVER rent there again. AWFUL location!Suzanne S.

I booked online for a 4hr rental to go pickup a few sheets of drywall that would not fit in my vehicle. I arrived to find a line up to pick up vehicles, fair enough. There was a very nice lady (Blonde haired lady - Manager?) who was running around trying to do everything. When I got to my turn, the guy said that their system wasn't working properly and we had to refill all the information that I had online even though they had my reservation. Strange that the guy had to call and check with my wife that it was okay for her to be an emergency contact??? Did I need her permission to rent the truck??? The guy had to pass me off to a coworker to complete the order. They asked how far I was driving and I said about 12 miles total and added it to the bill...okay, why not wait for the actual when I get back if there is two transactions??? Are they counting on me to over-estimate??? I went through spiel about refueling, the photo check on the truck and was on my way for my round trip to Home Depot. When I got back there was no attendant at the dropoff zone so I went inside and waited in the huge line...After 10 minutes, the guy who helped me initially, recognized me and said there was a girl in the check in area now. I went outside and got her attention and she figured out which truck was mine after I pointed to it two times from 5 feet in front of it. She took the key to check the fuel and mileage to complete the checkout from her phone. She was struggling with the check-in process and said she would be back in 2 minutes. The very nice blonde lady (Manager?) who was running around asked me if I had been helped, I said the girl just went inside. 10 minutes later, the girl came back and said it would be another minute...5 minutes later, the blonde lady (Manager?) came back and said they had somehow locked the rental and that is why she was not able to check it in properly. She had the adjusted pricing and asked if it was wanted it printed or emailed, I said emailed was fine. The check out and check in process was painful. I wish I had gotten the managers name (blonde haired lady) as she was awesome! The other staff all must have been new and need more training. I am only calling out the lady as blonde as she was the only blonde lady there, she deserves credit for good service even though it was not a great experience.CARL A.

Truck broke down the minute I drove off. Fortunately I was able to get another truck(imagine if they were all booked up on your moving day). Rather than cancelling my previous truck which seems like a no-brainer, the following day to my surprise I noticed 2 charges on my card for 2 trucks! As per usual no one ever answers the phone at the location so I reached out to customer service based out of US and when I finally got through after a lengthy wait the problem was fixed by a very friendly&helpful agent.ASHKAN M.

Add more clearly marked areas for customers to park. The parking lot is very cramped, there was a â€œcustomer parkingâ€ sign with an arrow when you first drove in, but then after that the only parking spot areas were uhaul rental vehicles only. It was a bit confusing. But that was the only critique. Staff was great, efficient, helpful and very polite gentlemen who helped us hook up our trailer. The online booking was super helpful, being able to punch in your vehicle year, make and model and it tell you what you can pull and rent. Great value too.Christina N.

Let people know how-to release the brake. On my vehicle you just step hard on the pedal. I phoned a friends husband and he told me. I saw it, but with a circle and I line through it I thought I wasn't to touch it. Other than than it was a nice vehicle to drive.KATHRYN F.

had booked a 15' van and an auto transport in Coquitlam BC. I only needed the van on the friday to load and told the staff that i would p/u transport at 11 am on saturday. When I went to p/u transport on saturday there wasnt one available for me. I then had to go to Langley to p/u which was 1 hr out of the way. I was very pleased with most of the service I received. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they went over and above what they needed to have. There were only two times that were a problem, once there was an inexperienced person on the desk by herself. I felt sorry for her but that didn't help me. The other time was putting on my ball hitch. Again, the person helping was very nice but it took another customer to get it fitted correctly. The person that received the trailer in Orleans at the other end was also very accommodating and nice.OLGA G.

Terrible customer service at this location. I used the mobile pickup option, and the counter staff gave my reserved truck away twice to other customers. TRAIN YOUR STAFF. There was only one guy who knew what was going on, and all the other people at the front counter were clueless as to what was going on. They didn't speak any words to me. They did not know how to answer basic questions, and the line took 30 minutes to get through when there were only 3 tellers with 3 groups ahead of us... should not have taken each group 30 minutes to process. We were given a van that was only two ticks above empty. The sales rep did not go into the car and make note of mileage. They sent a link by text with empty to full selection asking if the it is not a 1/4 full show how full it was so we selected two ticks above E. I rented a truck one week and then a trailer two weeks after that. The truck rental was fine. The lady that helped me was polite, professional and helpful. The trailer rental was the opposite. When I returned the trailer on Monday October 25th at 6:00 pm I was met with a rude, unprofessional asshat. He got me to park the trailer in a parking spot. I got out of my vehicle and he told me to open the trailer. I wasn't asked, I was told. He told me to remove all the blankets I had rented. 4 bags worth. I told him they are all loose. I can't just pull them out. It was raining. He said they're supposed to be in bags. I told him the bags are super thin and tear to open. He didn't seem too impressed with me that I hadn't folded them all and put them back into the bags. Anyway, next he tells me (not asks) to take the trailer off my hitch. By now I was getting ticked at this guy. I said no. It's your trailer, you take it off. So he pitifully attempted to remove it with no success and told me that I HAVE TO help him. I was late so I â€œhelpedâ€ him remove it. I did 90% of that. Then the trailer started rolling towards my truck. He didn't know what to do so I stopped it from hitting my truck. He didn't help. I told him to go get something to put under the trailer tires. He went running around the lot searching for something while I held the trailer. Finally got it chocked. Then I waited there for him to say I was good to go. Had to prompt him about what was going on and he rudely told me I was finished. What an asshole. Won't be going back to that location again or might not even use uhaul again. There must be other players in the truck/trailer rental business in Vancouver. Super unimpressed customer.MICHAEL H.

Truck was herky jerky......everytime transmission would shift it would horribly jolt, it ended up being the reason my TV broke all wrapped and everything... I voiced this concern to the front and they didn't seem to care....I've rented several trucks in the past and when there has been an issue the proper routes were taken to make me feel better anytime in the past. I was basically told oh well, not provided the truck change contract until after I returned.....seems the kms I was charged were very high......I'm never going to this location againJustin P.
