There were no keys in the lockbox when I went to pick up my truck at the specified location. The business was closed so I contacted uhaul. I waited on hold for nearly an hour. I ended up having to rent another truck from a different uhaul location. They only had a smaller truck. I ended up with a bunch of movers sitting around for over 3 hrs while I got a truck that was too small to move all my stuff. When a I went to drop off the truck at the location I was told to go to, the app told me I was at the wrong location & sent me to a different place 8 miles further away, which made my mileage go up and used more gas. Overall this was a horrible, frustrating experience that cost me more money than planned and prevented me from completing my move to my new house.Jennifer C.

Everything was great with uhaul except the fact that I did exactly what I was supposed to do and even dropped the uhaul off 5 hours early yet my phone was blowing up all morning because no one could find the keys upon which I put in the drop box that was located exactly in front of the rental that I dropped off in a box orange box that said put keys here.Angela C.

Your online reservation center is very misleading. I confirmed reservation as nd was presented with a receipt summary telling me that I will owe 34.95 upon pick up. Teller rang me up at 80$ and change! Then we need t to pay and was told only take bank debit cards. ? That wasn't on summary either! After running to bank twice and transferring money and all it took an hour to get truck! And here I thought reserving online would save time and let me know what to expect.... Not at all! Reservation system needs improvement. Reserve in advance at a specific store close to home, get a confirmation number, and have been told twice in 2 rentals, my "guranteed" reservation is not available and I have to go to another store.Brian J.

Air conditioner was not blowing cold even on high. Very uncomfortable on a hot day. Someone should go over the controls of the truck with the customer. I didn't know what I was doing. Seats should adjust up if possible for short drivers.Suzanne H.

The staff was courteous and helpful, but the computer system/network connection was a nightmare! What should have been a 10-15 minute pickup turned into an almost hour long ordeal because the computer system kept crashing/freezing mid-transaction. I wasn't able to schedule my reservation online so I had to call and do it then when I went in to get it they couldn't find me in the system having a reservation at first. Then when returning the truck after hours I couldn't do it online and had to call the 1-800 number. Then I called to cancel my storage unit and they didn't even have it in the system that I had one. Other than that I had no issues and the 2 gentleman I worked with at the front counter were great!Mary B.

I was told in WI that I had until 12:30pm on 5.31.21 to return the U Haul & I received a call at &am from the 50 W Alexis location & was told that I had until 10am to have the truck returned. I w/ given the 1730 W Alexis Rd location for storage. When I got to 1730 W Alexis location, Kyla was very accommodating to our storage & U Haul needs. Due to the circumstances, she extended the return out for us due to all of the inconvenience. I would definitely highly recommend the 1730 W Alexis Rd location for anyone's storage & U Haul needs The 1730 W Alexis Rd location gets of Excellent review. and Kyla was very helpful & professional.Kurt F.

Horrible experience. The truck they gave me didn't have a quarter tank of gas when i first got it, the breaks were bad that i had to push to the floor to stop cause it sounded like it was releasing air, the alignment was off which was very dangerous and they didn't sweep out the back of the truck it was so dirty.. very disappointed in the service & when mentioned to the staff they acted like it was no big deal. I don't know. In the time it took to do the paperwork, Kyle had the trailer hooked up and ready to go. When I returned there were 2 trucks ahead of me. A young man came out and unhooked the trailer and sent me on my way. I was very satisfied with the entire transactionPatrick M.
Service was excellent. The guy I worked with, when he heard that I was going to pick up a riding mower suggested a different trailer (with a ramp) than the one I selected. He even measured the opening so I could check the width to be as sure as possible that it would fit. Could not have gone better. ¡Gracias!Jeffrey D.

That location is always busy busy busy! Customers are more at ease if you acknowledge them when they walk in, but doesn't happen.as often as it could. Look under the racks of merchandise at the front counter and chairs in the waiting area......... That's what we are doing while waiting in line LOL But the BEST customer service is from TREVOR! Efficient, friendly, knowledgeable, and calm & patient with some of the most ridiculous customers I've ever seen! True asset to the company!Nora W.

I was told I had one size that was outside, told to finish my reservation online which I did. By the time I get to the store with the first load of hired help, the system is down. Can not find my reservation, card and code would not work. Upstairs unit. Trailers in the way making it extremely difficult to unload. Now have to get another unit which I CAN NOT afford and have to hire another crew to come help me. Not to mention the door didnt close last night. My crew was my extremely upset, we had to move a trailer to get in to upload. I was so embarrassed and will get out as soon as I can. I CANT AFFORD to pay for another unit while trying to rebuild as a single mother and get back into a house of our own. Very upset and literally cried over this.Becky D. | First Impressions
