I saw one employee sitting behind the desk working with a customer. She shouted just park the vehicle and leave the key in it. We'll check it in later. Then I was charged for a measely 6 miles over @.40 per mile because I had to go put gas in the unit before the return. I returned it 21 hours early with more gas than I started out with.paul S.

I ordered 10 furniture pads and did not check the back of the truck before I left. When I got to my destination to move a bedroom set there was no furniture pads to cover the furniture. I was very disappointed. I let them know the next day and was reimbursed the cost. That still didn't help me in moving the furniture.LINDAGAIL C.

For reference. I did the mobile pick up option. Myself, wife, mother in law and son get there and pull in. As I pull in there are no seen indication markers on where to park. This bitch or excuse me agent/worker comes walking over and points and says, customer parking is over there and I won't be able to help you until 9:30. Its 8:45, i replied with ok well I'm doing a mobile pickup. She says ill still have to get your keys but whatever and walk off. See the part that pissed me off is that if I would've done her like that I would have been a racist, bigot, and anti any other pro noun. All I wanted to do was rent a truck as hassle free as possible. Uhaul reps still haven't responded to my email and good luck calling.William E.

Hello! The manager of this location argued and corrected the gentleman who was assisting us. She was not friendly toward us; rather combative toward him and ignored us. 1) The cargo van we rented was only used to move boxes and tubs of clothing and dishes. The interior windshield and cab seats/as well as the cargo floor were dirty, but it worked for a quick move across town. Also the exterior was bug splatted like crazy. We did not complain, as we were only moving boxes. And with the manager denying the employee the ability to rent us anything else.... we took it considering, she had a bad attitude toward everyone. This was a $82 total daily rental we returned early... and did nothing but move boxes in... and she tacked on a $25 cleaning fee on our emailed invoice. Clearly she's not conscientious enough to care about the renter and clean it Before renting itâ€"yet randomly tacked on a â€œfeeâ€ to increase her bottom line which was NOT valid. 2) Rather than keep the vehicle 24 hours, we returned it at night to drive our own car home. We sat in the Uhaul parking lot and tried 4 times to use the after/hours cell phone return, but the app would not recognize our location... so we could not proceed. We returned it and emailed the Manager of this location at that time to ensure she knew mileage, time, gas was full, and explained this issue. We gave our phone number. She did not call to discuss this, or we would have gladly come back to Her location in the morning (We had 14 hours left on the rental) had we known it was a problem. We were charged an additional $20 for this. So $82 rental became $127. Clearly a money grab. We used UHaul for a 700-mile move) not just 56 miles like this one) 2 times in the past month and never had these issues. Shady. We'll NEVER rent from this location again.TIMOTHY S.

My only complaint is that the dollies and furniture pads I ordered weren't in the truck when I came to pick it up. I was doing the pick-up via the app for 6:30 AM, which was before the store actually opened. Luckily, an employee happened to come in around 6:45 and was able to get that equipment for me.Jacob L.

The truck I rented only had 2300 miles on it, and it was absolutely nasty filthy. How can such few miles get that dirty and no one from U-Haul clean it for the next customer? It was sticky to the touchâ€"apparently, spilled soft drink was everywhere. The vehicle had not been vacuumed either. Bugs were all over the windshield. It had a no smoking decal in it, but it reeked of cigarette smoke. We had to clean it ourselves to be able to use it. What a disappointment. I rented an auto transport for the first time, and the U-Haul attendant was useless. He denied having any knowledge of how car tie-down should work, despite the fact the he had just hooked up the trailer to the truck. He obviously lied. We were left to fend for ourselves to tie down the car appropriately. I expected *much* better service from a national rental chain.JONATHANPAUL S.

Only one person was working so it took a minute to fine him. However once I did he told me where to go, unhooked and checked the trailer, and sent me on my way. The whole process took less than 5 minutes.Eric E.
Although I had a reservation booked weeks in advance, the worker sent me to another location because his didn't have a tow dolly on hand. I went to the other location that he said had the tow dolly according to his computer, but they didn't have it either. I ended up getting the moving truck without the tow dolly. When I told the worker that the key to the lock is missing, she said that they lost it and that I would have to purchase one. I was very disappointed in the service at both locations.KHOITRUNG N.

Waited 45 minutes for person to return to the desk from getting snacks across the street. She then complained about her day (10:30 in the a.m.) She finally told me where the van was parked and she would meet me outside with the equipment I rented and contract. After 20 minutes of waiting around, going back inside and not finding her, decided to get on the road in a van that smelled like cigarette smoke. The lights on the 5X8 trailer came on when the car's headlights came on, but did not show braking or turning. Stronger zip tie on dolly. Broke in transit and now currently fighting over my bill. Turned in furniture pads after realizing the charge was per day. Still charged despite returning them within an hour of rental. Informed initial request I didn't want a dolly, still equipped. Placement of dolly leaves it very susceptible to being knocked around by placing items in truck. Customer service was almost non existent poor at best. Long wait times for phone calls. Long delays in email responses. Highly not satisfied. Will not recommend to others and will go out of my way to inform others of the experience. Penske was a much better experience from my previous move. Truck size is deceptive, length includes mom's attic rather than a full size area.JOHNMATTHEW D.

Make sure trucks are in shape, the truck wasn't align, A/c barely work, brakes was bad, squeecking and Jerkin steering wheel.I was charge for pads that I didn't ask for, was already in the truck. We didn't use them because the bag was saying 6 pieces and only have 4 blankets. I return the truck at 12:20, they just tell me to park it and leave the keys in it. Nobody inspect the truck front of me and now the said I turn the truck in at 12:49. I was charged an additional $40 even though I was asked to take truck to another drop off location. The keys were accidently locked inside the truck for 6 hours on Friday July 30th before departing the start of the trip. Roadside Assistance was of no help in resolving the problem as they wanted $175 extra to get the vehicle unlocked. This is why I was 2 1/2 hours late getting the truck back and cost me another $44. Change your online off where to pick a truck. I picked one close to my home. Got a receipt off my email where i was picking up truck. Place i picked. Got a text that i had to go way out off my way to get the truck i needed. Had to pay money for extra millege that i shouldnt had to pay sense i picked a place closer to my home.
