The guy at the counter was absolutely amazing he had wonderful customer service skills he was super nice I’d definitely recommend him to help any time !! Four thumbs up guys !!
MICHELLE DI will not revisit nor refer anyone to this location. Employee was not friendly nor did he speak clearly or loud enough for me to here him, he mumbled. I'm sorry l didn't go to the Telegraph Rd and 8 mile location, their staff are very professional and friendly
CARRIE LOverall, the rental experience was excellent! Although the unit was clean, I would like to suggest that the windshield of each truck be cleaned on the inside prior to EVERY rental. The reason for this suggestion is to ensure that a "clear" view is provided to each customer. This will help to eliminate any dust that has collected on the inside of the windshield that might not be visible during daylight hours. Such as that which is left by a previous smoker. Although this type of dust may not present any problems during the day, it does reduce the clarity for those driving at night. I hope you will consider this suggestion. ¡Gracias!
MELLITA TThe interior if the cab needs to be cleaned better. There was a dried sticky substance in the cup holders. And it smelled like stale smoke and frebreeze.

HORACE LHorrible customer service I had a reservation for 9 AM. The person who opened the store did not show up until almost 9:40 AM very unprofessional.
NERISSA AI booked a contactless reservation, paid extra for the dolly. When I went to pick up my rental the dolly was not in the truck. I then had to wait an hour and a half for someone to get to the location to open the building. open time was 9am and they didn't get their until 9:30, I had already been there since 8am but by that time I had called another location and went to pick one up from them. This cut into my reservation time. I brought the truck back after the initial time I reserved it for and the worker tried to say I would be charged an extra fee when it wasn't my fault that I returned it late.

ELIJAH EI got the U-Haul a little after 4pm on 2/18/2025 and returned a little after 5pm on 2/19/2025. It was due to be returned at 4:15 on 2/19/2025 and was charged a full day. I understand being charged for being late, but a full day was ridiculous. I understand being charged for the miles as well, but a full day. I just know to go elsewhere next time
TRINA MThe employee I worked with at the front desk was great. The man that walked me to the U-Haul had cleaned the truck inside, and was super courteous and had cleared off the snow and even had the truck warm when I got in. They get a 10! from me.

MYRON PThere were 2 service lights that came on during my trip. One for stabilitrack and another for something else. I was concerned, but grateful that the truck didn't give me any real issues. As a woman, it's a bit scary to drive a vehicle with service lights on because you never know what to expect. However, the customer service was decent.

Danielle GI've never had the experience that I had when renting from U-Haul that is the one on Livernois initially when I came in, I was speaking with the guy about my event and where I need to go from home I live in the Palmer Park area. My event was on 9 mile and Gratiot. I was speaking to my mom over the phone. She told me to get 50 miles because I don't live that far, I wouldn't even use the whole 25. The guy took it upon himself to do 25 miles him being an expert at U-Haul. He should have went with the 50 miles that I initially told himI picked up my U-Haul Saturday after 1 PM and I was supposed to take it back Sunday night, but I didn't have anyone to follow me up to the U-Haul so I took it back 1230 Monday morning. I checked the mileage. It was starting at 9262 when I took it back. It was ended at 9341 when he came back, he said the mileage was at 9360. That was impossible because I live right up the street from the U-Haul place. All I did was gas the U-Haul up and brought it back no one was willing to help the situation not even the manager for customer service go they could have rectified it and took the mileage off because I initially told him to give me 50 miles I added up mileage and the cost that it would cost me for keeping it till that morning I was not going to be over my deposit or what I left, but I knew that I would have to pay for those days. I worked the customer service for over 10 years. No one offered to help in anyway and it's all about the customer and the customer experience. I'm going to always pay for what I used. I had a man in my family overlook the mileage as well. There's no way that I used over 90 miles. I have a car I wouldn't drive and look at big truck around anywhere. Besides to my event I am a party planner and one factory in my budget and factoring in the day. I took it back and where I saw the mileage was I feel as though something wasn't right and they could have went the extra mile instead I left on the bill. I've never owed you a penny as long as I've been renting from them. I've never had this experience at the Boston, location, location, or any other location that I visited over the years I will never go back there. I hope that's someone from customer service or corporate called me back to rectify this situation when I asked the guy about the mileage and me telling him to give me 50 miles and he said my bad I heard you on the phone with your mom. I didn't think that you would go over the miles my bad it's not a good enough excuse to not have done what I asked initially when I came in to rent a U-Haul poor experience and it's unacceptable .

RANDY HI kept the truck past 6(my return time) and was charged $54. I'm not sure why so much. It was $19 per day. I returned it before 8 am. I need to read the contract.

I failed to pay attention to the height of the storage unit and had movers waiting to help me, when I realized that the unit I had chosen was too small, they immediately moved me to a bigger unit with no charge. This is very different from public storage where it isn't a smooth process and they try to charge you more. I'm very pleased with my experience at this facility. They were very knowledgable about the system and what needed to be done to help out!

There need to be an elevator in this facility which would make it easier to move in and out. I called UHaul main number explained my situation she sent email to the manager about a ground level unit. No response or call from manager even after I emailed him about a ground level unit. I have since found another storage unit at a different facility with an elevator which met all of my needs.
