There were a number of things that did not go as they should have. Requested truck not available but replacement was provided. Did not advise that the rented blankets were not placed on the truck but that I needed to pick up from inside the store. Over charged by one day (ultimately and correctly reversed by the corporate office) as they used the scheduled pick up time not the actual pick up time (40 minute delay due to other customers in line) to start the clock ticking on the rental period.

Shawn G.I would tell future customers follow ALL directions, AND TAKE THOSE PICTURES PLUS personally inspect the uhaul before you take it off the lot, and take pictures of the uhaul for yourself and purchase that $15 insurance. Those reps don't seem to always check uhauls going out and when they don't and the uhaul was already damaged, when you return it you won't have proof that you didn't cause the damage. Protect YOU. The gentleman that you returned the uhauls to was very Customer oriented and kind and respectful.

Please verify with GPS on your truck where this truck drove to. Was billed for “73 miles†Woman at counter was haughty and rude. At 70 years old she is definition of Elder Abuse. First time shame on UHaul. Second time shame on me if I put myself through this abuse again. Will not use this location ever again.

I literally got ignored while I tried to explain that it was me who they are talking about and I just need the keys.

Unfortunately I didn't notice this until after the trailer was fully loaded and I was ready to depart to my destination 300 miles away. I was delayed by two hours going through the process of getting the tire replaced. Making it an even worse experience was identifying that the two inspection stickers on the equipment indicate the equipment had passed inspection in September 2023. Clearly this equipment was not looked over well by the individuals inspecting. Very disappointed in this experience.

The fuel level highlighted on the contract was inaccurate. I'd taken a picture and refueled accordingly. Although the truck was clean, it didn't start immediately. It seems to need maintenance, but we were able to accomplish the task. I certainly recommend the Livernois/7 Mile Uhaul location.

But please understand not everybody is ignorant or trying to get over on you. But overall they're doing a good job at this location, considering it's located within the city of Detroit. Obviously would be tremendously different if it was in the suburbs. But probably about as good as you're ever going to get in Detroit.
Robert V.I picked up my rental on a Sunday morning which was very busy. There was only one store associate (Chris) available at the front desk to assist everyone. He handled things but it would have been a better experience if he had a little help for all the people that were waiting. When you have a reservation you expect to be able to pick up your rental on time because in some situations you are paying other people to move things for you so you done want to spend an hour waiting to pick up something that was already reserved. Other than that the service was great and again Chris handled all customers great even the impatient ones.

There need to be an elevator in this facility which would make it easier to move in and out. I called UHaul main number explained my situation she sent email to the manager about a ground level unit.
