One of the best ways to make people happy is having someone meet you out side help you with unhooking the trailer and having the information pad so you don't have to go inside when you dropped off the trailer so I maybe able to go on my way . The show had no been cleared off the trailer. Other trailers had been swept.

The truck was certified for release to me even though there were 4 rear tires almost worn to the max. Knowing this truck was making a trip across the country they should have replaced the tires beforehand. We ended up getting a flat tire and when the Kal Tire repair technician saw the tires he said the tires should be replaced. Four new tires were installed which allowed us to get through the snowy conditions in Northern Ontario. Otherwise we would have been stuck.

My truck was not brushed off of snow or the window scrapped of ice. The pack of furniture blankets I rented weren't even in there ( waste of money ) and the back had snow in it I had to sweep out

The wait time to get the hitch installed was really long. That was mainly because of my battery wires. Which wasn`t a big deal because they worked really hard to find me a new wire. Then when I went to pick up the trailer there was another long wait because the wires that were installed on my hitch were malfunctioning. It ended up being fixed but was a bit annoying to be waiting almost 5 hrs each visit.

I was upset because I was suppose to pickup my uhaul at 12 but when I got there they informed me that a lot of people haven't returned the uhauls on time so I didn't have one. They did try to get me one way outside the city but that was to far to go. I ended up having to wait till 4pm to get a uhaul. I appreciate that they tried to get me one and I did end up getting on that day but it was very inconvient because I only had help for a certain amount of hours and they all had to leave.

Make sure order changes/ over the phone changes are looked after, had an issue with times not being correct after confirmed the time change over the phone a week prior, then day of it was the original time slot that didn't work, very easy and great experince using/ returning equipment

Where do I start... was “guaranteed” a vehicle from 9am-5pm only to show up and be told I couldn't take the one I ordered until 1pm. $50 in Uber's later, I payed for my 20' truck only to find out they supplied me with a 26' truck without telling me. After pleading my case that this truck was way too big and wouldn't fit in the loading zone of my new place, I was switched to a 15' truck. The overall service was a complete joke and I would not recommend it to anyone, friend or foe.

You need to add more staff, the wait to return the trailer was unacceptable. There had to be at least 8-10 people waiting in line and one employee trying to return/rent out equipment.

Excessively long waits for staff assistance, there were always large uhaul trucks parked in the way of the “drive up storage locker” and would have to go inside and request them to move the truck, and there was mouse poop all over the floor of the unit with no barriers to prevent mice from getting in. Would not recommend uhaul.

I ordered the truck 2 days before to be able to server self myself at 9:30. When I got there I had to wait and it wasn't ready until 11:05. And the pads weren't there, I had to ask for them and on top of that I am being charged for a dolly that I never rented. That delay caused one of my movers to leave because they had other commitments. It changed the whole moving process for us. Terrible experience.

My reservation was changed from an 8-5PM request online to a 4 hour time slot between 11-3PM without confirming with me that it was okay. To make things worse, due to the long lineup at the till, I wasn't even able to drive my rental away until 11:45. I highly recommend confirming reservation changes with customers before overbooking if you want to maintain customers in the future. I will be going elsewhere for my future moving needs.

The systems are running extremely slow, it took almost 10 minutes for a fellow in front of me to purchase 2 boxes and a roll of bubble wrap. This has nothing to do with the staff but Uhaul's networking issues. The staff are incredible - always friendly and helpful, which is why I go out of my way to rent from this location.

Our 15ft truck reservation wasn't available. Offered a 26ft but too big had to really convince them to let me take the 15ft that was in the lot. Waisted 1hr of our day. Once they were able to give us the other 15ft truck it worked out fine

This location did explain that I would be charged a second full rental rate or that there was a $21 fee for the truck to be inspected the following morning. The truck was 15 min late on return! This is disgraceful customer service. I will definitely have other reviews to make via social media.

There was no utility dolly in my U-Haul, despite ordering one - didn't find that out until I was about to start my move. Refund was given, and staff were certainly friendly and accommodating. Apparently every U-Haul in the City was booked on this particular day; I saw one customer ahead of me get told that they were out of luck because they showed up just over an hour after their booking time.

First, the staff at the store were excellent...very polite and helpful. Unfortunately, the trailer I rented was previously used to transport livestock. With temperatures below freezing, there was animal urine and straw frozen to the floor of the trailer. I needed the trailer and there were no others offered so I took it as it was. I did my best to clean the trailer but those efforts were in vain. I lined the trailer with cardboard so my belongings were not touching the dirty floor.

excellent except you need someone on the phone so customers don't wait on hold forever. Also when paying each month the wait is long. For years I had to pay a $10 fine for late payment, I can't see why I couldn't change my payment date yill the end of the month when the old age pension comes in. I was always 10 or 12 days late.

When being explained the contract the clerk needs to articulate well, speak slower and loud. Masks and walls don't help with understanding. I know she says the same speal multiple times a day but the customer hears it for the first time. Assistance in the yard was excellent. Thank you.

Since I had an appointment at 8:30 am, I expected to walk in and there would be a special line up for appointments. I stood in line with all the others. The gal that look after me was not very courteous, When asked for me to scan my drivers license, I offered it to her and the reply was “ I am trying to protect my family”. No sure who pissed in her corn flakes, but that comment was not necessary. She could have just said that due to COVID the policy was to have the customers scan their own DL. The young fellow who helped with the vehicle check was great....nice personality and courteous.

NEVER USE the mobile check in, what a joke and waste of my time. Spent over 45 min trying to get to work only to have to go in and deal with store anyway. The attendee/clerk was good, personable but the experience in what was advertised for contact-less exchange, to what i received, was far from my expectations, and not in good way. No tap on the payment machines. Return time, didn't even bother with the mobile as irritated, system tried to charge me a 2nd day which clerk adjusted as he could see we returned within 5 hours. Bottom line; If you need in a pinch for short distances- great and have the time to wait around to obtain a rental. However, if have time to research or lots of km, you may want to find an alternative as many car rentals will also rent pick up trucks with unlimited Km.

I had the u haul truck towed after paying upfront AND extending my reservation with all of my belongings were inside it before my reservation I extended for 24 hours was even over! They had the audacity to tow it literally right before it was to be driven to the new house to be unloaded so it had literally EVERYTHING I owned inside it and I wasn't allowed to even grab a change of clothes and they held it for a week then charged me a grand total of just under $$$2000.00$$$ in addition of having to hire a different mover! And they were literally laughing at me everyday when I called to get my stuff and would always pass me off and not return my calls, and then tell me I could have picked it up days ago when I finally was permitted to pick it up after days of getting blown off! $477.00 for cleaning when the truck was left spotless?!?! 1200 rental fees?!?!(for 10 days=200.00 a day) And that's just the start?!?! Cash grab and highway robbery?!?! I think so!

There was only one staff member working up front and there was quite a long lineup. She was also answering calls and putting people on hold! This could have been more efficient. Also, we rented furniture pads, were told they were in the vehicle, and when we got home, there were no furniture pads. I called, waited on hold, and reported this. I was told I wouldn't be charged for them, and yet... I was. I've disputed my bill, emailed about it - and still no refund. I don't appreciate having to pay for something I didn't use

The service was excellent and the staff was very helpful hooking up and unhooking the trailer. The only thing I thought was odd is that the needed a secondary phone number for contact. UHauls has my drivers license and credit card. Why is it necessary to have a secondary number? Really I could have provided anyone as a secondary it doesnt seem to add anything more for theft protection.

I had made online reservations, and for some reason the associate could not find them. I had to go through the whole initiation again with her. I also signed up online for the free lock promotion, but they didn’t have any in stock so I had to purchase a lock. The hold ups and disorganization is a typical experience at this location. When my friends had rented an indoor unit a few months back, we had about an hour of wasted time trying to deal with the swipe card not working for the facility, having to return in and out of the store to get help from an associate as nobody was willing to come outside to help deal with the problem, and the alarms going off constantly. The only reason why we returned is because of pricing and location.

Everthing was good except when the uhaul people in Calgary confirmed our 10 by 15 storage unit for us for 215 then when we got to Edmonton and they said we had no reservation for a storage unit so we had to take a 10 by 18. But it was 240. So we said okay we had no choice cause there wasn't any 10 by 15 left. We are fine with it not happy with the extra amount of money but there was nothing else we could do as we needed to unload our things.

Although I received the unit free of charge, if I were to purchase and spend money on it I would prefer to have a clean unit which was promised but never delivered. Also I had a very hard and difficult time opening up the roll up door which was promised to get fixed and tagged but wasn’t. Otherwise, the staff were excellent, friendly and helpful.

They didn’t honour the 167 online price, instead charge $179. with tax its a total of $188. Thats with no insurance, no 24 hours access and i don't feel the storage is secure, i will not store anything valuable here. I could of got the same price at storage mart on 127 street with insurance and they have gated 24/7 access. not happy

My only concern relates to your practice of charging for the month. In my case I vacated the storage locker prior to the end of the prepaid month. I expected a partial refund of my monthly payment. I was advised that would not be the case. I am sure U Haul will rent this unit to another client and collect twice for the same time period. I consider this an injustice and poor client service.

The employers were very friendly even for being a new employer however the time waiting for an employee to help us find our storage and sign out trailer back in took almost 2.5hours. Not good at all
