The return was very stressful, the qr code did not work. And I returned the key before I knew I had to take pictures of a million things first. Something that should have been discussed upon rental.

Chris SealWe have been renting from this location consistently for the last year. I am extremely disappointed after our most recent trick rental. The truck broke down in a Quick Trip parking lot. My driver called the roadside assistance number. He was told it would be a little over an hour. He contacted the clients immediately. They were waiting for him. The 26-foot truck was filled with their household goods. Long story short. It was raining buckets. It took roadside assistance over 2 hours to arrive. I lost money dealing with U haul. We have never had an issue like this one. The General Manager Heather always took good care of us. I’m not sure what the heck is going on but it seems to be going downhill.

Tom ClarkePick up: chose this location as it was close to the first apartment I was loading up. At no fault of theirs- road construction made it difficult to get there and get out. I would not recommend mobile check out, I still had to go in to store. When making reservations- I somehow did not get a hand truck, when I asked she said they had none available- there was more than a dozen on showroom floor. Sad for me.

Ayla HicksUpon dropping the vehicle off, I was told I would get a refund for half of my charge as it was within 24 hours. Once I left, I got the confirmation email and there was no refund. When I called back, I was told that they couldn't refund it and to go back to where I picked the truck up. They also said they couldn't do anything so just be aware that apparently multiple employees at different locations that said the same thing are both "new" or didn't know what they were talking about to clients. Unfortunately, got a message from Uhaul management too that said tough luck, they were wrong and they were not willing to do anything about it.

Marian GoodeCommunication was poor, especially when the elevators went out. Yes, Both elevators went out of commission on the same day and my unit was on the 3rd floor. I had rented a truck and hired help on that day, and you all screwed me royally. It was not just inconvenient, but you cost me a lot of money. You all can communicate perfectly when you want to be paid OR the NUMEROUS times you raised my rental fee. I have had rental units before, and no one ever raised my fee. This is the LAST place I would ever rent a unit from again.

Deborah SmithI signed up for the 24/7 remote thing. It didn't work. I happened to go during manned hours at the store. So the staff assisted me in getting the vehicle in real life. However, the truck was not checked in properly and when I got to my destination it still had a lock on it from a previous rental and they didn't have the code for it. So I had to drive it back and swap trucks. In taking the keys into the store to pick up the keys to the next truck I slipped and fell. The young man that helped me came out after two patrons at the storage part of the store came over to help me up. He indicated that people fall there all the time. I had people waiting on me that I was paying to help me load the uhaul so I had to leave. But I was injured and had to seek medical assistance, the store personnel did not offer to get me any. And it resulted in a rib fracture and hip displacement. I am pursuing action.
Julie Jenningsthe gas gauge was significantly less than what the paperwork said. I have attached pics of the contract and the actual gauge. You can see the contract says the fuel level was 5/8 but the gauge was actually 3/8. I went into the store and told them and offered to show them my photo but they said there is a link in some text message I would get that I would need to adjust. Note that the metadata of the photo says 9:08 AM and the contract is from 8:59 AM, so I hadn't gone anywhere yet. I never received any text link or whatever. All of this could have been avoided if the employees this morning would have come out to see the gauge or even look at my photo and adjusted the contract on the spot. So when I returned the truck, I filled it up to 5/8 of a tank. I did not take a picture of that gauge because I did not have my ipad with me at the time, after my move and all the work, I forgot it at home. The woman when we dropped off this evening said she would refund $20 but that has not happened yet. I should have not paid for the extra gas and simply refilled to 3/8 of a tank but I did not want to have to argue about the refill fee as well. The contract simply should have been adjusted to reflect the real gas amount this morning. This evening we were told that the employees are new and that's the reason this all happened. Regardless, I need some money refunded to me. Please let me know what will happen for this. Just a head's up, no one also greeted me when I walked in this morning. The guy was on the phone so that makes sense but the lady didn't engage with me at all for like 4 minutes, no "hi, be right with you" or whatever.

I had an issue with a man who was yelling, throwing things, and impeding my rental return. I had to call the police to be there so I could finish the process. I was very scared for my safety. I could not get back in the the truck to leave and drop off later. Thank God my daughter was there with me in her car.

Rose HArrellWhy is it that you can reserve a truck over the phone, with a representative using a debit card, but when you go to pick it up, they tell you "sorry, can't use a debit card, it has to be a credit card " .now, I've been a long time customer of U'Haul (trucks, storage units, boxes) for many years, and they didn't have the common sense to mention the rules have changed (which is funny because I rented one 2 weeks ago, with my debit card)..by just accepting credit cards, you're going to losing a lot of business ..there's some people who can't afford to have a credit card due to high interest, some have poor credit and can't qualify for one..you're actually making the process more expensive by only accepting credit cards with high interest, instead of debit cards, that have no interest, and you get your money on the spot..but, like every other business, you've lost the concept of helping people who don't have 10 credit cards and lots of money in the bank..I see, now, who beginning to cater to, so it's goodbye to lower income people, people of color,people with only one paycheck for the whole household..it's a shame that people like me go to less reliable, more costly, not as professional as U'Haul..I hope it's worth it to you in the long run, because when people find out, and I'll get the ball started rolling, you're just another company that forgot that the little people that you're driving away, help make you what you are now

Then I was charged a rate that was way higher than the large unit I requested and inconvenient as well. So I moved my storage to someone who gave 2 smaller units on the same floor while I wait for a large unit to become available and am being charged the rate that I would be paying for what I requested until that size comes available. THAT'S customer service. You don't punish a customer monetarily because you don't have what they need immediately.

It was a rush and a panic to get my daughter home then to hear a day later her school was closing and she needed to be out of her dorm in 3 days .
