The staff are second to none. Always friendly, helpful and happy. Unfortunately I was misguided on the storage rates. I wanted a large unit for my clothes and one wasn't available. So I was assigned 2 smaller units that almost added up to what I needed but way less convenient on separate floors. Then I was charged a rate that was way higher than the large unit I requested and inconvenient as well. So I moved my storage to someone who gave 2 smaller units on the same floor while I wait for a large unit to become available and am being charged the rate that I would be paying for what I requested until that size comes available. THAT'S customer service. You don't punish a customer monetarily because you don't have what they need immediately.mike b. | Overall Experience

I hope that my reasons for leaving doesnt hurt my relationship and future business with uhaul I caught covid early on and fell behind on payments for a storage and the manager Nichols Shaw was so understanding and uhaul so helpful during my hospitalization and offered me and way to save my things I just wanted to say I really appreciate you uhaul when I thought all was lost and thought I wouldn't make it thru covid 19 knowing that my personal belongings were safe and I could come retrieve them thank you thank you thank you love you guts for that because with the payment agreement i just didnt kbow how I was goibg to pay for and thought I surely lost it . ❤❤ its so nice to see companys that care about there customers and understand this pandemic. Went in to collect UHaul no one was there for 15 minutes. Said I would receive a email/text with my contract never got one, when I went back inside to enquire, the lady was MIA again. The dolly in the truck was already out of its holder so we'll see if I get charged for that, since again there was no one there to ask about it. Finally, was told as long as you're back by 8pm we'll see you then, returned at 6pm and no one was there to help return the truck, myself and another customer were trying to sort this out for 30+ minutesJack H.

I attempted to return the truck and trailer during the posted business hours and upon my arrival at this location, there was a hand written note on the door stating that the location had closed an hour early. I was able to return my rental via the app, and was satisfied with the ease of use.Allen S.
Truck seemed to have transmission issues, very poor acceleration and did not get passed 25 mph- key was hard to get out of ignition (took 30 mins of trying before we could get it out) and took 1.5 hours before roadside assistance got back to us. Also reserved packing blankets that we did not receive although reserved. Aside from these issues the truck got the job done.Kelsey B.
Store opened 25 minutes late. I was told that the truck had to be back at the original time despite losing nearly half an hour to start. The van I reserved was not available. I was not told this until after I paid and signed for the truck. The attendant at the store was rude and dismissive when I asked about all this.terry L.

Double checking gas and inside damage. The van i rented had some damage to the interior that was not registered and the gas was lower than what the rental paperwork stated it would be. The gentleman working took note of the gas and damage and was super helpful and it was a non issue!Riley L.
Someone else drove off with the tow dolly from the Truman Rd, KC, MO so equipment not available. They sent us to a store on Main St. in KC, MO. They took care of customers that came in after we arrived. The equipment chains were tightly fastened under the dolly, which made it very difficult to use them as a backup to the straps. Women came out of the office and asked if we needed help. We said we bought a part to connect lighting system, & wanted to make sure it was the right part. She walked away and was not helpful at all. Finally got the dolly hooked up & used without any issues.William B.

The stall that was given to me was still full and he moved me over to the next stall that he said was larger but it did not look like it to me. And I have to pay more then I was quoted. I am glad it is going to be temporary until I get a larger home and I will be measuring it when I go back.
