I didn't use the dolly, but it broke in transit. Didn't believe anyone would believe me, so I just said I used it. You all need to get a better securing mechanism for the equipment, I am sure I am not the only one this is happened to.The young man who initially helped me when I picked up my vehicle was awesome, I was a little upset because I had to come back in and wait in a long line, but he called for me and I was able to skip a few people and get my vehicle in a timely manner. However, when I went to drop off the vehicle the website was not working properly. So I went inside to have it done by a representative, I was ignored for at least 7 minutes. Finally, I got my mom's phone And was able to complete my drop off via website that way. I was asked towards the end of my drop off did I need any help, but by the time I was already done.

Vehicle I reserved was not available when I got there. They did provide an alternative vehicle. Employee read gas wrong. He stated it was 7/8 when it was 3/4. I feel it was just because he was not properly trained and not purposeful. Multiple warning lights were displayed showing that vehicle is not being properly maintained. I feel this location is below average.

Very chaotic- not well organized and they need more help for sure. The young lady that was helping me was fantastic. She was running her legs off. Owner needs to schedule some more employees to work.

Over the past week I used U-Haul twice to rent equipment. I have learned that U-Haul will take a reservation even if no equipment is available. This is a bad business practice as it leads to false customer expectations. I needed 2 important pieces of equipment: a hand truck and a furniture dollie: NEITHER were available. I was NOT informed of this at any time until I went to pick up the truck. I had to contact a separate rental company to obtain these items. U-Haul did not offer to do this and told me they wouldn't cover the cost, even though they had both items for sale in their facility! An important question for any business: "What's more important? revenue or customer satisfaction". For U-Haul, revenue is clearly more important than customer satisfaction.

The employees at this location were incredibly helpful and forthright with helping me pick up my reservation. I originally made a reservation to pick up a 9' van from Uhaul Storage at 1166 MLK Jr boulevard as stated by my first reservation. However, in that reservation and confirmation email I was not told I had to go to a separate location to acquire the keys as I'd never rented from Uhaul before nor had I visited aforementioned location before. It was a stressful day to begin with thanks to the move and I spent 20 minutes trying to gain access to the van before calling the Uhaul support on my reservation to be told I had to go to a separate location. I'm thankful for the 10th Ave location being close as I had been dropped off, originally assuming I could pick up my van and leave. I greatly dislike leaving negative reviews as it jeopardizes the job security of those working, however, the lack of complete communication and information was absurd, not being told my van pickup location differed from the location I had to retrieve the keys from. Those employees at the 10th Ave location were able to switch it over and make things right. This could have been avoided completely by explicitly informing me my van pickup and key pickup locations were 2 different areas. Despite that frustrating hiccup the cleanliness of the equipment and helpfulness of the employees at 10th Ave were great.

Reserved a 10ft but none was available upon arrival. Manager corrected problem by providing a 15ft truck at no additional cost. Fully explain how mileage cost are calculated.

Only negative comment I would have to say is the windshield wipers need to be replaced heavy rain and crappy wipers makes for road hazard and big safety issues other than that everything else was great!

Although the equipment was not clean when I picked up the trailer, this location performed very well, from beginning to end. The Staff acted very professional, hooking up the trailer and checking all lights. I highly recommend this U-Haul location to anyone in the Columbus, GA area needing transport equipment. The dirty trailer was more the fault of the previous renter.

Truck was old but ran well. The windshield was not clean inside and the wipers did not work well which created a hazard while driving in the rain. Employees were helpful and very courteous.

The staff was friendly and nice. The truck had one headlight out, two lights on the dash, belt squeaking, and brakes did not feel adequate. I had trouble driving the truck in the dark because of the headlight. It was also missing a hand truck. I did not feel safe driving this truck, and I think Uhaul needs to do a better job of inspecting & repairing the equipment.

Enlarge the parking lot. The location is perfect, but when that Uhaul gets busy, like it was, it’s hard to get in and out and handle your business.

Originally rented storage for $70 that in under 2 years went to $100. That inflation is crazy. 24hr usage is promoted but this facility doesn’t allow it. Store vehicles always parked in the way.

After getting switched to a new unit becasue the one we had leased had a faulty latch, we got billed for two units and received threatening letters about not paying for the unit we did not use.
