Had to drive 30 minutes out of my way to pick up truck and when I got there your system was down. I was paying two men $20 an hour each to load the truck. I returned home to WAIT on your system to come up. Finally got a call that system was up. Drove 30 minutes back to finally get truck. You would think that a multi million dollar company would have some sort of back up system!!!!

I pre-registered online and when I got to the store, it was such an easy process. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and efficient ans I was waited on quickly. Someone walked to vehicle with me and made sure I understood everything I needed to know about use and return. A very pleasant experience. I would definitely recommend this location..

Well I did everything online but the store said they had to renter everything so took longer. They said online wasn't good and they would have to enter everything anyways.. then why have online booking and paying

Don't leave anything in the truck. You'll be told they can't find it. Extremely frustrating. Also, the check engine light was on during the entire rental. According to my reservation, the truck was parked in the front. We ended up having to search the lot to find it.

My reservation was for 7 am but I was late picking up the truck. However, they was understanding and allowed me to get the truck anyway. I rented a 26 footer and it drove poorly. It was pulling and drove as if it needed a transmission. I explained to the clerk that I only had enough money on my card for the rental fee. When I returned the vehicle I owed $24 and only had cash to pay the remaining balance but they refused to take cash and said they can't take split payments but remind you I told her earlier I only had enough on my card to pay for the rental fee. So once I returned and tried to pay the remaining balance with cash she refused my payment. Therefore I left owing $24.

The website would not identify our location when we returned with the truck. It delayed us until I just sent a message for verification and then that solved the problem. But, this needs to be easier done in the website. Otherwise, we were satisfied.

They need enough workers so someone can be on the inside at all times instead customer waiting to be service also worker was not friendly didn't attempt to make a connection with the customer also I was overcharged I bought the truck back before closing abd the representative took the key but apparently never checked me in and the next day I received an $20 charge but I did call the store and spoke with management and she refund me my money back...

IN THE BACK OF THE CARGO VAN WAS AN EMPTY POWER DRINK CAN AND WHILE RIDING SAW A FEW ANTS AND A FLYING ROACH. THE STAFF PERSON THAT TENDED US DIDN'T EVEN CHECKED THE BACK OF THE CARGO VAN.

Parking area was small. Oncoming traffic is a major obstruction. Staff did not go over the coverage however charged card without verbal explanation. Did not feel like an explanation was given other than receipt figures. Vehicle was full and charged for only 3/4 tank. Route from pick up to home and then drop off was not 181 miles according to our GPS. Very discouraged considering our time of bereavement.

I rented the unit but could not get access to it because the keycard reader was broken. I was told to come back later and ask office staff to let me into the card-gated hallway to access the unit. I was not told the unit number. Office staff were obviously overworked and too busy for pleasantries. These issues are not the fault of the staff, but the fault of Uhaul. Uhaul needs to provide their staff with adequate resources to do their jobs effectively. Based on this experience I will not use Uhaul for future needs, as their pricing does not reflect their ability to deliver on a consistent and reliable product.

When booking the space online from out of state, I selected the size I need and a unit that was described as “drive up exterior”. When we arrived, that is not what we got. Instead we had a unit that was inside a storage building, at the end of a long & narrow hall, with a pole in the middle of the unit. We refused the unit for these reasons. The associate took us back inside and offered us a larger unit, which we accepted. Although the unit was still inside, the hall was wider and the unit was closer to the entrance. When finishing up the rental agreement at the counter, I was asked if I needed to buy a lock; I said no, I had one. It was not pointed out that a specific type of lock was required. A couple weeks later when we return to get a few things out of storage, there’s a second lock on our unit with a tag for non-payment. We go to the office because a payment hasn’t even been due yet. We were advised that it was because we weren’t using the right type of lock, and that housekeeping would continue to put the additional lock on, and we would have to come during office hours to have them unlock it. We weren’t happy about this, but said fine. The next time we came, the additional lock is on there and we are now informed that a charge for the lock has been added to our account. I will take ownership that the agreement requires this type of lock, so I paid the fee for the lock without complaint. However, the handling of this is very poor. Rather than lock a paying customer out of their unit, you should at LEAST call to inform them at the first notice. Also, this should truly be explained up front, as I would not have known the difference in lock styles in just reading the agreement. To wrap it all up, we cleared out our unit on 06/13/20, and followed the online instructions for move out on 06/14/20. The move out was not processed until 06/30/20, when I called because I received notice that payment would be due soon. Overall, we only had the unit for 3 months and it was a bad experience from start to finish with customer service. The unit was clean, secure, and well-lit, but the parking and access to the lot is also not ideal; many times we were stuck waiting for others to move a truck or trailer they were renting/dropping off and causing congestion in the lot.

Originally rented storage for $70 that in under 2 years went to $100. That inflation is crazy. 24hr usage is promoted but this facility doesn’t allow it. Store vehicles always parked in the way.
