Andre B.I was not able to use the trailer I reserved because I had a 2 1/4 inch hitch and their trailer only goes on 2 inch hitches. This does not state that anywhere and they were unable to help me with having a 2 inch hitch on hand to rent. They charged me and only partially refunded me. I requested a full refund and have asked several times and have not received it. I am not paying for a service I was not able to use. Not helpful.

The staff there was nice and made it up to me so I am happy overall, but still, it's a little thing relatively easy to fix that causes annoyances and delays. Second: your front parking lot is difficult to access and park into. Staff was nice enough to park it for me.

Gregory R.I sent an email to reply to on the address indicated on the invoice that there was an error and I still did not get a response. I attached two pictures with millage showing, one of before and one of after rental. I went to the gas station to put gas in to bring back to the correct level and still was charged for gas even if the pictures clearly show that the truck's gas level was back to its original state. I would like someone to reply to me email and reimburse the cost of gas that I was charged by error.

Au retour du véhicule m'a obligé de nettoyer le véhicule et il était 16h55 pourtant il savait que j'ai retourné le véhicule sans nettoyage parceque si je l'ai fait je risquais d'arriver au magasin après fermeture à 17h. Il y avait juste un peu de poussière et que c'est son travail de le nettoyer et non pas le mien. La personne était désagréable et je ne recommande pas ce magasin.
kandi A.Cashier was extremely rude when renting the truck. Seemed like she really didn't want to be there. Truck smelled like cigarettes and there was food on the floor. Attendants in the parking lot yelled at us when we drove our car in. No where to put your car so you can rent the van. Directed us three blocks down the street. Would never rent from here again.

There were one trolly and some covers in the truck. I told the agent that I have not ordered them. He told me just drop them at the garage door! excuse me? I am not your employee! Do not expect me to empty the truck for you! I left with those equipment in truck because I was not willing to empty the truck for them under the pouring rain. I also have questions about the pricing. last time I rented a truck for 24 hours and drove almost 100Km and I paid the same price versus this time that I only took the truck for 4 hours and drove 57km. How is this even possible? I don't understand this.

Je crois qu'une inspection doit être effectuée avant de remettre une remorque sur la route. De plus, on m'a contacté deux fois pour que je ramène la remorque alors qu'elle était bien en votre possession.

Djamel B.I made a reservation for a van on August 26, 2023 at U Haul de Longueil address 2771 Rue Mance, the van was delivered on the day and at the established time, however due to the negligence of the staff who work there, they did not close my reservation and charged my credit card doubled, being a value of $60, they made a charge of $107, the day after my reservation I went to the location, however, they did not want to help me claiming that they did not know what was happening, a complete scam since After my complaint at the establishment, they sent me the bill for the $107 overcharge without any prior response.

La bas c simple tu fais tout. Inspecte le camion avant après tout seule. Vérifier le millage. Personnes qui nous accueil Arrangez vous tout seule.

We had to let the key in a box (well, we thought it was the box for that purpose) with no lock and padlock. Anybody could have take the key and the truck for a few hours.

Samuel C.Il serait bien de faire un petit espace pour que les clients puissent attendre pendant l'installation d'à l'attache de remorque. Vous demandez l'option (rester sur place ou quitter) lors de la réservation mais il n'y a pas de place. Ceci concerne u-haul et non la succursale: il est extrêmement difficile de joindre le point de service et j'étais toujours transféré chez U Haul, et les gens ne pouvait pas m'aider, il fallait parler avec la succursale.

Alain P.I fixed an appointment online and paid the service and its been cancelled and postpone without calling me. For my second appointment, I called the day before the 2nd appointment and I've been informed that I will receive a call today to contirm for tomorrow. Nobody called me, so I decided to show up at the 2nd appointment. They told me that this was not scheduled yet. The guy was kind because he setup a 3rd appointment right now. So, it was a bit confusing.

HUA X.Poor customer service quality overall. I scheduled the day for the hitch installation using Uhaul website for 7:30am, arrived there 10min before and got this 40min line-up with several customers complaining about the long time waiting. When it was finally my time, turns out the website appointment was useless, they told me I had to call another number to book again and come back another day. I booked again over the phone, 2 weeks latter I went back to Uhaul and after waiting from 7:30am to 2pm I got the news they had the wrong hitch model. I had to go back home and wait for another scheduling call, that never happened. So I decided to cancel my request and ask for my money back. As I couldn't do it over the phone, I went back to Uhaul and that was when they finally said the hitch was there and it was installed.
Daniel R.Employees were having a private conversation at the counter while numerous people were waiting in line. Took me 20 minutes to finally pay for a van I booked online. The employee told me I couldn't pay debit even though I clearly saw the option "debit" on his screen. I knew this was a way to charge me more after my rental. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and paid with my credit card. The van was in good shape and clean, but that's the only positive thing I have to say about my experience. The tank wasn't full when I rented it, another scammy thing to do since now I can't just fill the tank at the gas station, but I have to precisely measure it. In doubt, I put a little more in the tank then when I got it to make sure I wouldn't be charge extra. Still, they charged me 16.50$ for fuel. I will never take my business to ANY UHaul ever and I will go out of my way to make sure nobody in my life go to UHaul. Scam, scam, scam.
Antoine C.The fact that there is no parking while the U-Haul is being rented greatly complicates things for those of us moving solo. The staff was lovely and very helpful, but this logistic would bump the rating to excellent. I think it's important to note that on the website somewhere (or maybe it's there and I didn't see it).

Thing is there was a glitch on there own website when I got to pay the second locker it prepaid the same one again! Could undo it and had to waste a couple of hours to drive to, wait and explain everything to the clerk at the counter that she had to remove the late fees do to all this nonsense! Back to square one a month later, Secondly, at first visit my wife found mousetraps on second floor hallways that made us second guess storing all of our valuable belongings here. Now yesterday we installed mousetraps and not 24hrs later we caught one in our locker on the second floor!! Manager gave me one month free on one locker but let’s get real here if we get mouse crap 💩 all over, my two 3500$ leather sofas and 1000$ mattresses get mouse wholes all over it’s not a one 206$ free month that will cover anything!! Should look elsewhere for storage!! Install LED lighting in lockers, it’s pitch dark! Garage door access impossible to back a trailer flush to, with there parking lot layout and multiple levels make moving furniture and appliances difficult even on the first floor! Second floor accessibility by stairs only!

It was a busy day that day so I did not go to the counter to confirm storage unit1077 was emptied but i did call on march 25 to confirm. I was then told I would receive a confirmation but did not and then I was sent a bill + late charges on April 3. I have called numerous times to receive this confirmation but NO ONE at The 2771 Mance location EVER ANSWERS THE PHONE. I have records of my calls on the dates outlined and even audio recordings. i am frustrated with this situation. While the facilities were fine, the management is very irresponsible and the customer service is seriously lacking. I am a good client of U-Haul but have wasted a lot of time with this negligent behavior. All I have requested for weeks now is a confirmation that the unit was emptied on time, which it was and that no further charges would be incurred.

Most of my furniture was priceless antiques, well over 150 years old. I was crushed, I had to get rid of my clothes, linens, furniture, anything that wasn't ceramic or stainless was destroyed completely. Dont ever store your precious belongings at a U-Haul.

Donc je suis enragée et traumatisée par rapport à cela et je ne recommenderais JAMAIS cette service. ====================================================== All my things are covered in rat droppings. The rats ate through my furniture and boxes, leaving poop all through my things. I sorted through my stuff to throw out 1/3 the ruined things and most damaged stuff. When I moved my stuff out of the storage into my apartment, their were live rats inside a box!!! Do NOT rent storage in this disgusting facility.

Et de plus, j'ai vidé mon local deux jours après le début du mois à payer et u-haul ne rembourse pas au les journées non-utilisées, entre vous et moi, c'est du vol ! Vous devriez faire quelque chose pour améliorer la situation car juste en ligne d'attente TOUS les gens étaient dépassés par le service médiocre. Je ne recommanderai plus jamais u-haul. < Marie-Ève
