The staff was friendly.... BUT UHAUL failed to serve my request and needs. I requested a pick up truck at the specified location on a specific date.. When told one was not available, I offered to change my plans to the next available pick up at that location. The date and time was reserved on-line, but when I arrived, NO PICK UP truck was on the lot. I had a list of 12' lumber materials to pick up at Home Depot and had arranged for another person to help me load and unload. So, I had no choice but to take an available cargo van, capable of holding only 8' long materials. So I needed to quickly recalculate my materials list from 12' to 8' materials. Due to the loss of time this required, I basically downsized my covered deck project from a 12' x 12' foot size to and 8' x 8' size. I will permanently be reminded on UHAUL's failure every time I use my downsized deck. The charges to use the vehicle was very reasonable, the staff was pleasant, the equipment ran well.... but the reservation and delivery of type of truck needed was a complete failure and very disappointing. I will seek the services of other truck rental companies in the future.

I will shop other rental companies before i use U-Haul again. This was very inconvenient and I had to go buy a dolly.

Cate H.First off I ordered dollies to come with the truck. They agreed and stated I would have them. A couple days before my pick up they called to confirm everything and stated I would have the dollies as well. When I got there they stated they could not give me any dollies and I would have to purchase one to own. Then they also gave me a truck with a little over half a tank but the paperwork stated 3/4ths a tank so when I returned it I lost more money.

Jason T.I am being charged an extra day even though the truck was dropped off 5-15-2022 at the Hammond store at 430 pm. I even stopped by the kenner uhaul on 5-16-22 to have them verify it because all the store had in Hammond was a lock box for key drop off. The kenner uhaul put me on the phone with customer support and I was told that uhaul was closed for 2 months. That was the drop off location that uhaul gave me. I will be fighting this unlawful extra charge.

STEPHEN D.I spent about 2-3 hours in Houston troubleshooting electrical issues with the trailers lights. I ended up having to re-splice wires and even wire them differently because the running lights had a short in them. Because of this I did not arrive back in the city until 4am and had to get 3 hours of sleep before attending a previously scheduled event. I returned the trailer late because of this. I tried to explain this to the attendant but I don't think he understood. I also tried to inform him about the electrical issues so no other customer had the same issue. I'm disappointed I was charged an extra day. Had I not had the electrical issues I would have returned the trailer on time.

Steven M.Disappointed that when I picked my truck up on Sunday April 24 that the attendant marked the fuel incorrectly and when I called it to her intention she told me to use my phone to report the error. I don't have a phone so I told her that was impossible. She came out to check the fuel level and told me it was close enough and that she could not do anything about it. I drove a total of 10 miles. I have been making this same trip for 15 years, 10 times a year and have never used more than a gallon of fuel. When I dropped the truck off I was billed for 4 gallons of fuel. Very disappointed!

I had to wait from 4:30AM when my pick up was scheduled until -7:00AM with a crew of people that I was paying by the hour to help with the move, just for the desk clerk to tell me I she can't find my reservation and when she finally did it, told me to check in on my phone. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I will never use uhaul again at any location.
