Booked a 17 foot truck at this location, only because they had a 17 foot truck available and guaranteed for pick up. When I arrived they changed my booking to a 26 foot truck which was much too large for my needs, unable to fill with gas after trip in the area because of the size and forced me to add useless mileage to my trip because I only booked this out of the way location for the smaller truck which was guaranteed available.

First, the online app and off hours pick up didn't work. The WiFi for this location needs to be upgraded ASAP. Second, the customer service for the off hours pick up is putrid! 53 minute wait times when you're sitting in a parking lot are unacceptable, but especially so when you're trying to rent a vehicle. Third, they didn't have the boxes I ordered from the location but charged me for them! While they did process a refund, if I selected the location and the boxes weren't available, I could have bought from another location and saved myself the time and effort!

Overcharged for mileage. By more than 30 miles. When I arrived the doors were locked at 9:30. Sign on the door said they'll return later. When they did arrive they were on a personal call the whole time. He mumbled questions and instructions to me. He obviously did not want to be there. The truck had something sticky on the radio buttons and in the cup holder. I did my best to wipe it out. It had obviously been there a while. I hope the truck has some kind of GPS to verify the mileage. Very unprofessional.

Trailer should be inspected before rental. My rental had two tires both with large bulges (eggs) in both tires and one had a piece of wire poking out of it. Plus one of the side running lights had a short and would trigger the vehicle to stop sending the signal for the running lights to work. 1st location book was closed but not removed from site listing so whole day was wasted going from one place to another. Waited 3 hours for tires to be replaced.

The order I placed in the app didn't match the order when I arrived. It could have been an error on my end, but, as a tech savvy person that works in the IT world, I found the app a bit difficult to navigate. Also, when I arrived and tried to check-in via the mobile app, it kept crashing. I checked for updates and it was apparently updated the day before, so the updated app kept crashing.

This location as well as the Hammond location need better customer service representatives.. They're rude, dismissive and unprofessional at times.. I've been a customer of Uhaul for over 5 years consistently and never experienced poor service up until recent time..

Return site has sent a damage bill to customer after drop off. Customer reviewed drop off with onsite uhaul rep and was released to go with zero indication of damage or additional charges. No backup report, photos or information was provided to customer. Customer will no longer use uhaul unless situation is resolved.

It would be great if the company would be more considerate to their customers and employers by hiring more people to work at the various locations, especially during a disaster period. The (2) employees were doing their best to accommodate the customers but they were at a disadvantage. There were only 2 of them and many, many customers waiting to be served.

The truck was good and gave me no problems over 1100 miles. However, when I picked the truck up, it was not swept out in the back, and was dirty in the front including empty chip bags. Also, I arranged to rent 10 moving pads, but when I got the truck, they told me that they did not have any moving pads. I was not happy and had to use bed clothing, etc. to wrap furniture and mirrors for a long haul. The staff was not very concerned about my problem. Their response was merely that they did not charge me for the pads. No apology, nothing.

Make sure they didn't upsell on your order without your permission before you leave cause you'll never get your money back ....even though they like they doing a refund ....I'm basically homeless after Ida and they upselling without your permission.
