Mobile check in takes way too long and still have to go into the office to get key. Rental truck had 1/4 gas's left in tank which is too low. Needs to be full and require each renter to refill . Easier to add fuel used back to full va 1/4 tank estimating when refueling.Jeffrey M.

The truck I got was disgusting. Wasn't cleaned cigarette ash in the cab. Shattered glass in the box, and someone's pills in the glove box. Would not recommend this place to a stranger. Two things: I ordered blankets and I guess I didn't realize I needed to have them in hand before I was handed the keys and bid adieu, so I never got them. Secondly, it would be nice if they told you whether you had a diesel or petrol engine beforehand.TIMOTHY DANIEL R.
They gave me a truck that was on dead empty. I made maybe 200-300 yards from the store and ran out of gas. That should NEVER be allowed to happen!!! They also charged me for equipment that they didn't put on the truckTHOMAS Z.

The manager and employees at this location are superb in their customer service. Thank you so much for the extra help in getting the van unlocked. I must have accidentally hit the lock, leaving the keys inside, as I exited and was mistakenly sure that there was an auto locking system, I was so upset as I was on a time crunch, super stressed about Covid, and just plain freaked out. The general manager and the woman who answered my calls (I wish I could remember their names) were so calm and went beyond to help keep me calm. This location was fine. My issue was that I was redirected two or three times and was only told about it once. I arrived on time at the first redirected site and the guy smirkingly told me that the truck was not there, it had been rented. I then had to call the local manager to find where my truck was and thankfully it was at the third location. I don't appreciate that I was charged for an â€œovernightâ€ fee because I returned the truck the same day on Sunday, when they close ridiculous early anyways. No one told me there would be a fee for returning it same day/after hours.How hard is it to process the fact that I left the key in the key box and parked the truck in the correct area that you have to scam people out of $20+ dollars?STOSHA F.

Place was understaffed, so only 1 person, great as he was, at the front desk..who also checked vehicles in... ONE PERSON FOR THE WHOLE PLACE. He was running around like a maniac. So he was helpful and great. But we didn't get the blankets and dolly reserved. The tow trailer was a mess. Once we drove off, we noticed the trailer lights shorted out. That took 5 places we stopped at to fix. Uhaul is a mess right now. Grab a Penske if you can to get a guaranteed truck. My reservation was not fulfilled where I reserved it but was punted around to 5 other local locations to cobble together my order. This place did us as best as they could but what a stressful sht show that ended up delaying my move by 2 days and costing me lost fees with cleaners who I had to reschedule.KRISTY M.

They first put me into a van that didn't have a well working AC. I asked for an exchange and they were more than willing to make that switch for me. The young lady behind the counter was a rock star. She really was. I watched her handle multiple customers at the same time doing the best she could. She seemed like the only one who knew the computer system and how to navigate it. She will be the main manager one day...no doubt.JASON H.
initial reservation 21398708 for your and my records. I would give this place a 0 if possible, I had a reservation to take a truck from this location to pipe creek. it was on the profile I have set up and have a lot of documentation about this. When I walked into the location, the lady at the counter changed my reservation without my knowledge, to an in town pick up and drop off. I was never informed at all of this switch until I was told later and charged an extra 350 dollars for this "bait and switch tactic" I will be seeking further help to get this resolved at this point. U-haul has refused to even look at my original reservation to see their error. and has threatened me financially I will never do business with U-haul again. and I will tell as many people as is humanly possible.Brian W.
First off, pickup location was switched about 12 hours before pickup. I did not receive a call or text indicating a change, just an email with loads of fluff and finally at the very bottom saying what the pickup location was. Did not say it had changed. It's pretty effing important thing to tell someone. The new location was much further away and inconvenient. The new location was late opening. The gas tank had 1/4 tank less than what the checkout paperwork said there was in there, which is about $60 someone would have to eat if they weren't watching closely. Luckily, I snapped a pic showing miles, gas, time/date and truck number.SCOTT K.

Miss Desirae and Matt were the best staff I've ever encountered at ANY company. They both has such great attitudes even though the office was slammed. Layout of the drive-in and parking lot needs clarity. Pulling into the parking area from the frontage road with the parking lot lined in the opposite direction is confusing. If it is only for returning equipment, the sign should read "Returns Entrance Only."Sherilynn D.

Terrible experience. Our boxes were in 2 different locations making it extremely inconvenient. Our first box took 2.5 hours to get loaded onto a trailer for us to take. This box was also damaged by Uhaul with a forklift that caused a hole in the box resulting in mold and cockroaches throughout our belongings.JESSICA N.
