The first place we went to they told me it just came in two hrs. earlier In the past I rented a trailer from u haul and the brakes were bad the master cylinder was empty and rusty and had a wheel cylinder was leaking also it had a bad tire which I told them and they did nothing and it went flat. so the first hauler had a bad tire and the master cylinder was empty so they sent us to another place the tires looked good but 1 was low on air so we had to air it up ourselfs the next day the master cylinder was full but after loading the vehicle on it when you take off and stop it would make a loud bang the surge brake was moving back and fourth the whole 11 hours of driving home they need to be checked when returned by someone who knows what they are doing I hope the next person is luckier than i was thanks for asking . BOB NENNI !!!

I couldn't get my phone to find it's location at all and when I asked if they had a way to do it in the store the girl said yes but I got my receipt 2 days later not 10 minutes later and they charged me an extra $20 for it. Very unhappy I didn't get warned that it would cost an extra $20

The uhaul guy that disconnected the trailer forgot to take off the chains and told us we were good to drive off, and he almost got hit. He then went on to say that “WE almost killed him”. Staff were rude too.

The guys in the back seem bothered to do anything. Tried to get a appliance dolly and was told to get it myself. There was only one, and when I got it to my place I realized there was a pin in the handle that made it inoperable. When I went back to return the truck I was in the store for a good few min before I even saw someone. The person came not wearing a mask and eating just a hot dog no bun. I asked him if there was someone working the counter, and he said if he worried about what other people are doing he would never get anything done. Terrible, terrible, unhygienic, illegal (not following mask mandate) service.

The mobile checkin is not easy. You will still need to have help from the people that work there. The workers are extremely nice and helpful.

I basically showed up and and once I parked the truck at the designated spot. A U-Haul associate came and explain to me that I was to check out using my phone and following the steps. Everything was seamless and very easy to do. He did offer his help if I had any questions during the check out process.

Please remember to place the appliance dollies and so forth that the customer has booked online INTO the truck prior to customer picking up truck. We had to drive all the way back to get them. Thanks!

This was the WORST moving experience of my life, which is saying a lot because i move frequently do to my line of work. I am not talking about this location either but the OVERALL experience of renting one of these U-boxes. Next time i will definitely pay more money to just get a moving company involved. I wish I could have referred this to other people as the ease of it SOUNDED good but I will not be referring this to ANYONE in the future and will actually try to talk people out of your U-Box services in the future

I had called the location a day before the pickup to find out if the equipment is cleaned and sanitized before it is picked up by the customer given the current COVID-19 situation and I was assured that it is thoroughly cleaned. I was disappointed to see the inside of the truck covered with dust and there was no sign of any cleaning done. It took me 30 minutes in 98° degrees temperature to wipe down everything on the inside.

The shipment was over a week late. No one called. I called frequently to find out where my containers were and no one knew. They arrived, I wasn't called. 2 days later I called again and found out they had been delivered 2 days previously. They had the wrong name on them. The young man that I spoke with at the Austin location was nice enough but said they wouldn't deliver them that San Antonio had to. San Antonio said they wouldn't deliver them that Austin had to do it. Austin said they wouldn't give my refund for the late delivery. I lost at least 10 hours of my life on the phone trying to schedule, find, and get my boxes delivered. How can you run a company like this? No one knew where the containers were, no one told me that no one would be willing to bring the boxes to me... My first experience with containers was good, I'll never use them again.

I tried to reserve a truck online but the order wouldn't go through at the last minute. Went inside, the staff was rude when I mentioned the online order and refuses to help me until I cancelled it. That was bad enough, but I returned the truck after hours and left the key in the dropbox AS I WAS TOLD TO DO by the employees. I was charged about $76 in bullshit fees, including a cleaning fee despite returning the truck in spotless condition. I only used it to move some furniture in the bed for about an hour. I even emailed the branch about this and no one bothered to get back to me. This is outright fraud and I will be taking it to small claims court if it is not addressed immediately.

Tell employees not to ask customers to leave the keys in the trucks. This conflicts with the self service instructions from the U-haul site and they seem bothered if you follow the instructions that limit your liability from anyone walking up and taking the truck.

The wide variety of quality of service was insane. One front desk women was horrendous, but the manager was extremely accommodating and went above and beyond while another front desk women was great. Dropping off the truck when no body was manning the store. Absolutely wild experience, should be a ride at Disney.

Place was disorganized and dirty. Lack of leadership, employees walking around without apparent direction. Nobody took me to the truck and when I approached somebody for help, a young guy shout at me saying "hit the panic button dude". Nobody inspect the vehicle with me to verify conditions and the same thing happened when I got back. No parking place to leave your car while renting your unit. When I asked, one guy pointed me to a street mall area. This is my worst experience ever renting a vehicle.

NO PROBLEM WITH THE PLACE OR THE EMPLOYEES, ESPECIALLY YOUR SERVICE DESK CLERK. ONLY ONE PERSON FOR THE LONG LINE OF 8 PEOPLE WAITING, BUT SHE HAD A POSITIVE ATTITUDE. IT TOOK A VERY LONG TIME TO GET A RENTAL. NEEDED MORE HELP!! THIS PLACE IS VERY NEAR TO OUR RESIDENCE AND WE ALWAYS USE THEM WHEN USING UHAUL EQUIP. WE RENTED A 6X12 TRAILER TO TRAVEL FROM AUSTIN TO MCALLEN TX ROUND TRIP, WE RETURNED THE TRAILER BACK TO AUSTIN. WE DROVE FROM 6AM-1:30PM, UNLOADED THE FURNITURE AND MISC HOUSEHOLD AT THE APT AND PLANS WERE TO EAT AND GET ON THE ROAD. HOWEVER A SHORT DISTANCE FROM THE APT, WE GOT ON NOLANA AVE. NEAR 10TH, I ON THE PASSENGER SIDE VIEWED THE TRAILER ON THE SIDE VIEW MIRROR CROSSING OVER TO THE LANE ON MY RIGHT. I SCREAMED TO NOEL (DRIVER) AND HE SLOWED DOWN TO TRY AND CONTROL THE TRAILER, AND MOVED TO THE LEFT TURN LANE. WE KEPT MOVING FOR A SHORT DISTANCE AND WHEN WE STOPPED THE TRAILER BAR HITCH ROLLED UNDER THE PICKUP BED. WE DO HAVE AN APPOINTMENT WITH AAA INS TO EVALUATE FOR ANY DAMAGE. WE SAT THERE FOR EVER BECAUSE THE TOLL FREE NUMBER TO GET ASSISTANCE HAD ME ON HOLD ON TWO DIFFERENT MOBILE PHONES AND NEVER GOT A PERSON TO ANSWER. THE POLICE PASSING BY STOPPED WITH CONCERN THAT THE TURN LANE WAS BLOCKED AND COULD CAUSE PROBLEMS FOR OTHER DRIVERS. WHILE THEY UNDERSTOOD THE PROBLEM THEY ASKED THAT WE MOVE TO ANOTHER AREA. THE TRAILER HAD COME COMPLETELY OFF THE HITCH. THE PIN THAT CLIPS WOULD NOT SECURE THE BALL IN PLACE. THE CHAINS WERE IN TACT SO WE DECIDED TO USE ROPE, WHICH WE HAD, AND TIED THE HITCH IN PLACE TO THE TRUCK HITCH. WE STROLLED AT ABOUT 10 MPH WHERE WE WERE TOLD WAS A UHAUL PLACE. WHILE ON THE WAY MY CALL WAS ANSWERED AND AFTER GIVING DETAILS WAS ADVISED THAT HELP WOULD COME IN AN HOUR. WE RENTED AN OVERNIGHT ROOM SINCE WE WERE ALREADY IN MOTEL PARKING LOT. THE SERVICE MECHANIC ARRIVED AND HE DID HOOK UP THE TRAILER TO THE ATTACHED HITCH; HOWEVER IN JERKING IT UP AND DOWN WHILE ATTACHED TO THE TRUCK, IT WOULD DETACH AND I ADVISED HIM WE NEEDED TO DRIVE BACK TO AUSTIN AND I DID NOT FEEL SAFE. HE THEN MENTIONED THAT IT NEEDED A NEW BOLT AND CLAMP AND HE FINALLY FOUND ONE IN HIS TOOLS WHICH HE WAS SURPRISE TO HAVE, AND REPAIR WAS COMPLETED. IN AUSTIN, UPON HEARING OUR CONCERNS AND THEY ALSO HAD A COMPUTER REPORT FROM THE MECHANIC, THEY WERE EXTREMELY CONCERNED AND GLAD WE HAD NOT HAD AN ACCIDENT. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE CLERK, VIEWED THE NEW REPLACED PARTS AND DID GIVE US CREDIT ON SOME OF OUR EXPENSES. I WOULD RECOMMEND THAT EQUIPMENT BE SERVICED BEFORE RENTING TO AVOID POSSIBLE ACCIDENTS AND UNSAFE CONDITIONS TO OTHERS. THANKS

Was told it would cost $70 for renting a 15ft truck for the day and I would have to pay for gas. I returned the keys to an employee that same evening before they closed. 3 days later I get my receipt and the total was $200 for 3 days of service. They never pick up the phone so I haven't been helped. Do not go to this location.
