Truck cab was extremely dirty with trash, ashes and drink spills everywhere. Truck bed was had trash and broken glass and had obviously not been swept. Truck was also extremely low on fuel. less than 1/8th tank. Was told that I needed to put gas in it as soon as I left, which ended up costing me 50 cents more per gallon than if I had been able to go further away.

Felt like driving something from the 70s. Not 'smooth ride' in the least, and I've driven U-hauls. Changing the transmission was difficult to get it to lock into a place, like reverse. This one should be on the list to replace soon! It got the job done, but I'm glad I was only going in-town with it.

Gas cap wasn't on good, came off after I drove away. Didn't seem to click well, may need replaced. I don't think these are checked as much since they just check fuel level, but maybe should be. Good experience overall!

When I walked in the place smelled awful, workers did not greet me immediately. A couple of the workers continued to talk and joke while one finally came and asked me if I needed help. I had reserved dollies but they didn't have them so that was cancelled. The young man that walked me to the uhaul didn't give me any details or assistance. Didn't even tell me about putting gas back in or a survey so when I received that charge I was shocked. When I came back, I waited 5 minutes for someone to acknowledge me even though there were four employees in the room. Try another location.

Didn't understand. I rented it for 1 day. 19.99 per day. My total bill was 109. I had a rental charge of 39.99, the guy at the counter said 10.00 day fir insurance. I was charged 20

My muffler was not reinstalled properly and only the driver's side was fastened. When I left the facility, I noticed that my muffler was extremely loud and I pulled over and laid on the side of the road and peered up into passenger rear section of the vehicle and noticed that the clamp was free and not attached to the vehicle... I should have expected this as the "mechanic" that installed that hitch showed me a video on his phone at checkout of him sitting in the driver's seat of a customer's Jaguar and revving the engine... At this moment, I expected the worst and that's what I received... Furthermore, the hitch does not look new, as there are scratches and chips in the paint as if it had been used before or possibly dropped. I have photos of everything described above and look forward to your response.

I wanted to get a pickup, but those always seem to be out. The van I got had a broken driver side mirror. I would not get a Ford van. Perhaps the motor controls are all electronic. The accelerator was not consistent and braking had similar drawbacks, but it would be considered OK. I would lot rather have classic linkage controls. As far as cost goes, for around town rental, it's OK. They had plenty of vehicles for rent.

The back of the truck was filthy, really bad. Obviously was not checked after previous rental. My husband had to clean it out before we could use it. Lock was broken on the back, unusable. Had to use our own lock. When we reported this information upon return the employee didn't seem to be very interested.

I returned the truck after 1 hour on October 5th, as was my intention. 2 days later, October 7th, I got a call from U-Haul asking me when I would return the truck (!!!). The employees there seemed lazy and bored. When I returned the keys they didn't check me out, apparently. One of them was just toying with his phone while I was waiting to return the keys and didn't even look at me although I was right in front of him (I was the only one inside, plus 2 staff at the counter). Not a "hi", not a "thank you". Really bad experience!

Rep gave very little information when picking up vehicle, and the location was out of the moving blankets that I reserved two weeks ago. I also was handed someone else's contract and that is what I went by to fill the gas tank. I gave away 1/4 tank of gas to IHaul because of this mistake.

The overall experience was better than the two previous. The new lady organized things pretty well. The MAIN PROBLEM is there are no chairs or benches upon which to sit - and the waiting line is just TOO DAMNED long. If there was a next-door competitor which had seating, I would use their services instead.

I was dropped off by a friend15 minutes early for my appointment which was right at the time of opening so I had to wait outside until they unlocked the doors. 8:50 a truck some flying around the building and a man gets out and walks to the doors, doesn't even acknowledge me until I say "good morning." He unlocked the door and said he'll get things ready and open soon, He unlocked the door at 9:05. When I went inside he was sitting down at the desk with his sunglasses still on, he still didn't say anything until I walked up to the desk. We went through my information and he collected my drivers license and my credit card but I never signed anything, which I thought was strange. Once I was finished I walked outside to the truck I rented and as soon as I tuned it on there was a warning message on the console "Low Pressure Rear Left Tire". I got out of the truck and went to speak with the gentleman and found him as he was about to leave the property. I told him the truck's instrument panel had the low pressure warning and that I wouldn't accept a truck in that condition. He proceeded to tell me that that truck has been saying that for 3 months and that it wasn't a big deal. I again refused to accept the truck and he seemed like he didn't want to deal with this issue, (mind you he's still wearing his sunglasses). He told me to go inside and tell the guy behind the counter to swap out the key for another truck (told me the truck number, as if I was his employee) and that he would adjust the contract. Fine. I went inside and waited in line, they man behind the counter was helping some one and he seemed much more pleasant that the man I was dealing with. I told him the situation and said that the man i was talking to (Donvain B. ?) told me to swap the keys, and he did so. Before I left the lot, I took a picture of the instrument panel with the mileage and fuel gauge for reference. I had to back the truck out of a difficult spot but got out and was on my way, after being delayed about 35 minutes due to improperly maintained equipment. My trip went well with no issues with the truck. I refueled the truck back to just over where the gauge was when I picked up the truck, (7/8 of a tank). I originally wanted to pay cash to close out the rental but I apparently needed a vehicle registration with my name on it and $100, but I was dropped off and this wasn't mentioned to me before. I gathered my belongings and headed inside and Donvain was inside (sunglasses still on). I walked up to the counter and he asked if I was dropping off. I said yes and that I would like to close out with cash if possible. He stood up and started walking around the counter and he said to give him a few minutes and he'll get to me. I told him just to charge my card, which is not what I wanted to do, and left. I get an emailed receipt and it shows that I was charged for 4 gallons of fuel at $5/gal. The gauge I read (and took a picture of) was apparently different from what he was saying, which he told me it was full when I left the lot. - I will NEVER do business with UHaul again. This was the WORST experience I've ever had with a truck/vehicle rental, and I will be sure to share my experience with others.

I offered to take an extra trailer to a different city with the promise of a “reimbursement” of $25. We dropped it off on the day before it was due, and submitted an online confirmation. I got charged 5+ days later for $107.00 and thankfully it didn't go through. We were told it was late fees related to the trailer drop off. After further investigation we find it shouldn't have been charged and were told by Nicolas that “if” it hits again to dispute. Not only did I not receive my $25 reimbursement, that I've noticed; but now I am being charged and may get charged again over $100 for a favor I did to UHAUL. Very disappointed and am weary to use this company again.
