Nothing,as long as Mr.Banks continues to represent U-Haul . I'm a life time resident of Gville Fla,a university city and most businesses here are geared for that student age group.As a senior citizen and not real tech savvy,the kind of guy that goes to the business to have questions answered and see what I'm buying. This is where Mr.Banks your outstanding and most polite employee ,engaged me, with one of the most welcoming and respectful greetings ever experienced in my 64 years in this city.It was yes sir,no sir,let me take care of that for you ,all in the backdrop of helping other customers , and taking care of them with the same polite demeanor,as I'm writing your company about with my experience. It was certainly an extension of kindness,caring and concern,lacking in most retail establishments. Although ultimately dropoff went seamlessly and easily, service provider's first comment to me after he watched me roll off my car from the auto transporter was "You can leave the trailer here but I don't have room for the truck". Ultimately, I was was able to leave the truck and transporter there, but only after providing the customer's side of this problem and offering to help in a way that still solved a problem not of my making. Clearly there isn't good communication between uhaul.com, the logistics office and local dropoff sites which actually has been my experience with the 3 uhaul experiences this month resulting in many extra calls and miles logged to get the equipment reserved.joel M.
Initial interaction with personnel was a statement "I don't have room for the truck, you can drop off the trailer here and will have to drop off the truck at (another location)". This was as he watched me offload my car from the auto transporter, clearly not integrating the overall situation. My reply was "not my problem". I offered to drive the truck to the other location to help him out if he would provide transportation back to his drop-off where my car clearly was. His answer was "I guess it'll be OK to leave it here". After that, check out was seamless and easyJoel M.

Dear U-Haul : Please check the engine oil level and tire pressure (all 4) before the customer gets on the road and starts getting computer warnings that both are low. The compound question above "clean and well maintained" should be split into 2 question. Yes clean, but due to above events, not well maintained. How should I answer that??? Clean: Yes Well maintained: No - low engine oil is not trivial. That oil change had 2000 miles on it, and was 1 quart low. On an engine with 27,000, somebody did not fill to correct level when changed, and for 2000 miles, nobody checked the level. Well, hello, I'm Mr. Responsible. The guy that will one day fill the tires and check engine fluid before hitting the highway. Well of course, I'll rent from you again. To me, these are trivial events that were easily fixed, but for others, it could have been a dreadful trip with potential engine failure. Best to all in the Era Of Weirdness. 10.13.2021Neil B.
I guess the drop off place was great - when I got to my 4th drop off location!!!! I had numerous problems trying to return my truck, hours on the phone with customer service - it was a disaster. But this location could tell I was stressed and happily just took the keys and let me be on my way.Catherine M.

First of all uhauls rental system is horrible and really it would be a waste of energy for my fingers to type the reason why because i really doubt that anyone at uhaul cares, that's evident by other reviews. But thank you for making moving day even more stressful. I will make sure i tell everyone i know how much uhaul sucks and its so much better to spend a little bit more money and go with Penske or Budget Rental.JOHN L.

Waited over an hour to drop off the trailer. 2 people behind the counter and only 1 taking care of customers. I dropped the trailer on Monday and it was reported that I dropped it Tuesday. They need people that care about customer service.Linda S.

The fuel gauge was not correct at time of pick up and then after only driving it 6 miles and adding a gallon of gas, I was charged $20 for 4 gallons of fuel. No one would leave the desk to look at anything when I picked it up or dropped it off but I told them of my concern, showed them pictures and was told, "no problem" it all looks good. Then I got a bill for this fuel....feel scammed!Michael A.
The moving truck was infested with ants, so much so that I had to leave my things in the garage for a few days to make sure that I did not bring them into my new home.Richard N.
I've rented from this location twice. The lines are always long, the employees seem overworked, and the costumer service is what you would expect. The first time my truck was not available at the time I had rented it for and I had to return an hour later to get it. The second time, I only drove 4 miles and therefore did not fill up any gas because I used like 0.25 gallons of gas and they charged me for THREE gallons of gas totaling $14.25.JOSEPH B.
The nice associate there had a really long line of customers and was moving slow. I stood in line for an hour to pick up my truck, and others had a comparable wait. For a Friday morning on the 1st of the month, this location was understaffed.Julia S.

I set a pickup time for 9am, didn't get out of there until almost 10am. A few children in there with their parents with some vulgar music playing. The weather stripping came off while I was moving my brand new couch in the van. The glue that goes with the weather stripping stained my new couch so that sucked as well. Went to return the van, waiting in line for about 15 mins, kid taking care of the guy in front of me walks outside, comes back in and starts helping the guy behind. Where do I begin? I made a 10am reservation the day before pickup and arrived 15 minutes early to get a 10ft truck. The Uhaul attendant told me they had my reservation but no truck available abd that there was nothing they could do. After complaining the eventually called another Uhaul location and found a truck. After paying movers to be available for my delivery it delayed me 2 hours. When I got my truck finally was now 3 hours late costing me a total of 3 hours for movers for nothing. The truck I tented had a constant â€œcheck engineâ€ warning light on and the tires had no tread on them causing front steering to dangerously slide in the rain while I was driving it. So after a move cost me way more than planned it took 6 1/2 hours for amove that should have taken 2 hours.michael B.
There was a nest of roaches in the loft my daughter had to spray, we couldn't use it. The truck was on empty she barely made it to the gas station. One person at the counter on his cell. I've used U-Haul for years and they always a at least 1/2 tank of gas and told us to bring it back the same. This truck was a 26' we were banking on getting everything moved but couldn't risk using the upper deck because of the roach nest. My daughter used a video to submit to the U-Haul companyMary C.

Wish they would acknowledge the customers waiting to be served. I understand they can get busy, but they seem have a sense of taking customers for granted. Sort of like we'll get to you on our sweet time. Also, I can NEVER get them to answer my calls. I've rented a vehicle at least one a month, if not more, for the past year and a half and am starting to get very frustrated with lack of urgency shown.Randy B.

the systems shouldn't have allowed me to make a reservation if i wasn't supposed to drop off trailer here. I dropped trailer off and check it in through the app but receive a call the next day stating i can't drop it off there and need to move it. A friend came in from out of town to help me out so I didn't have a vehicle that could tow it, available to use and if i knew it wasn't allowed to drop off there, i wouldn't have in the first place. then 3 days later, i'm charged a $90 charge for not checking it in. I know i checked it in on the app on my phone in the parking lot and again it didn't state i couldn't drop it off there. when i try to call a manger to discuss the $90 fee, calls go to a call center and not the store. Talking with the first CSR, she provided a number to call, i call and talk to a lady who says that she's sending an email for the manager to call me as their the only ones that can process the refund, plus said she's noting my account to not charge me. No call comes Monday so i call her back, she then transfers me to customer service and they can't assist except by sending email for manager at the store to call back. Which never happens, So now I'm out an extra $90 at no fault if my own and no one wants to own up to a mistake, either in the app or during the reservation process when it allowed me to make the reservation using the place i dropped it off at address. Unfortunately i have a storage shed with U-Haul but i am currently working on changing that as this experience has left me sour with U-HaulJeffery K.
U-Haul screwed me at this location. U-Haul converted my 24/7 pickup option to be a pickup that required counter service on the morning of. However, the location's office on this date was not staffed so this was impossible. I already had completed the check in and payment (in full!) the day before online. Called the central customer service line and their best offer was to transfer me to the other side of town. Main issue here is that since I was picking up a rental, I transited by bike instead of driving to the location. I arranged a pickup for 9 am so that I could meet movers at 10 am. I arrived at 8:30 am to ensure I would have plenty of time to get the truck. Relocation and (unplanned) added transit time in this case were an extreme inconvenience. So, a lack of preparation on U-Haul's part was resolved at an even greater inconvenience to the customer. When asked if U-Haul could bring the vehicle to me since I had done my part as a customer correctly and the error was on their end, they were not willing to help me. Very UNSATISFIED by the customer service at this location.Christopher B.

There were 3 people working the front deskâ€¦ and none of them were making the line move. Two started relocating empty cardboard boxes for no apparent reason and the third, the manager, had 1/2 eaten food all over the counter and did not help a single customer. He delayed for 10 minutes messing with his food in front of a line of customers then said his shift was over and collected his food and walked away from the line. After several more minutes of waiting a new person came in and finally started helping customers.LILY L.
The customer service rep was very nice and helpful, There was a stinky yellow stained mattress in my truck. I didn't know until I got all the way home. I called and waited on hold and never got anyone and had to find a way to dispose of it.AMANDA W.

The truck I was assigned was inaccessible, so I had to go into the store instead to use the mobile sign-in as planned. No employees were wearing masks despite the current mask mandate in Alachua county. The truck I was reassign was disgusting in the cabin (dirt on floors, animal hair in seat, grunge in the cup holders.) The fuel was actually below 1/4 tank despite the employee telling me otherwise. I was also charged for two days even though I only had the truck from 9am until almost 9 pm same day and was assured by employee that as long as I returned before midnight I wouldn't be charged extra. I have made 2 complaints to customer service and have not heard back yet. I don't think I will ever rent from your company again.Zoma D.

I was told I could go one way the trailer - then told I couldn't - then was given a trailer without the ramps- so I had to rent this for one week when I needed it for 2 days - It was not a good experience. Upon our return, we were told there was no room for our equipment and they would not accept it. We were given the only option to drive it to a location 40 miles away. We opted to call customer service who extended our rental for 2 days at no cost, but at great inconvenience. The entrances were blocked off so you couldn't drive onto the property. The location was undermanned, one guy was there for a whole line of people. He was pleasant and polite but resigned to being only able to take care of one thing at a time and not in a big hurry. There were no dollies available but the website allowed you to reserve one. We found out after we had gotten our keys that there were none. So we had to figure out another plan. If no dollies/equipment are available, you shouldn't be able to reserve it. The online checkin is nice, but the confirmation email should clearly state that if the online checkin is done prior to arrival, you can just walk in and get your keys. We waited in line for nothing. Very frustrating, especially when we found out there were no dollies. The truck was fine, functional, gassed up. The overall experience could just be streamlined.Monica J.
This location had all entrances and exits to the lot blocked by their own trucks and would not accept the return of my one-way rental. They told me to drive to Ocala which is an hour away. When they moved their truck to let in a local customer, I quickly drove my truck in and did the after hours check-in. The two guys working were rude, confrontational, and should be fired.Geoff S.

1. no parking on premises, have to park at a business nearby 2. all entrances are blocked 3. no signs showing where to place returned vehicle 4. single line for vehicle rentals and returns, have to wait in that line to return for a long time 5. some customers sort of catch representatives in transit and return keys to them outside of the line, which feels mildly annoying to all people waiting to do the same in line patiently 6. finally, the cherry on top: when I brought the track and waited for ~20 min to return the key, it was DEMANDED of me (not asked politely) to move the track to a different spot. Yes, THEIR truck, on THEIR parking lot. I should have charged them $$$ for that service, but did not think fast enough. If anyone at UHAL is reading this, please feel free to send me a check for the service. That would be $100. In short, mildly upsetting experience which I would not recommend to anyone. 6.Alexander M.
