If there are locations that do not have sizes needed available, don't give them as an option for reservations. We have several U-Haul pickup locations near me and had to drive 45 min to get, pay for gas and ride there, on 1 day notice. Gave me extra day and mileage but does not makeup for time and gas sownt to go that far when I had to drive half distance of moving trip then back to do it again next day for the moveTerri V.

Difficult to understand your policy on disconnecting a transport from your uhaul 26' truck. Had issues picking up transport at a different location because of you dispatch issues. Could not use a non-uhaul truck to pickup transport. Needed to suspend packing to use the 26' truck to get the transport or Lise insurance coverage, etc.Mark F.

The site was well staffed and surprisingly busy on a Sunday morning. I was able to get in and get my truck quickly. I would have preferred a truck with a full tank, but with the distance I had to drive I had to both top off and refill my tank anyhow. A full tank would have made it 5 stars.Martin B.

When I arrived to pick up the reserved truck, there were two other people standing in line and NOBODY in the store to wait on customers. It was close to 10 min before somebody appeared from what appeared to be a break room to wait on us, the customers. I understand being due for a break but I would think customers come before breaks.gary W.

Truck leaked water from roof into overhead storage area during rain. There is visible sealant from where U-Haul tried to fix the leak but it's not done properly (very sloppy). Customer service OK but slow. Overall a good experience.Charles B.

As it began to rain, the drivers side wiper came off the clip. I was able to drive to my destination without it. I mentioned it to the employee, and was told it was not a problem ( for me) as they would fix it.other than that, the day went well.Murlaine M.

I know it is hard to get more people but your location could use more people. On weekends may want to have people come in early to return equipment to their spot on the lot from those that dropped off after hours. There was a back-up of vehicles in the return equipment area that caused issues with returning equipment once your location opened. Had to pull one of your staff from the counter during open hours to clear the return equipment laneRobert B.

Front drivers side had a dent and the corner plastic cover was broken. Applied Duct Tape on the inside to keep water coming in while driving through rain.Aaron G.
It makes it very hard to request a truck for a period longer than 24 hours to be told most of the time that it isn't possible. More trucks should be available if being limited on trucks is an issue.Christian S.

We will never rent from Bettendorf Uhaul again! Or any other Uhaul. We had a TERRIBLE customer service experience with rude phone bank agent and at the local store. We were told we would be able to pick up truck in our local city and the day b4 told that we would have to drive an HOUR away to get truck. We ended up managing after multiple phone calls to get a truck in Bettendorf. When we picked it up the tire pressure indicator light came on 5 mins after we got it, took it back, owner said "it's fine, just a glitchy light" so we drove home & loaded. As we were finishing up, we heard air escaping loudly from the back tire. We then had to wait ON HOLD for an hour with roadside assistance to get someone to come fix tire 2 hours later. The entire process was stressful and ridiculous. NEVER AGAIN!!Brett B.

The team at Spruce Hills, Bettendorf came to my rescue. Dispatch called me the day before my scheduled pickup and advised me that my assigned pickup location was 1 hour drive away. Really---that is not the way to great customer satisfaction. Luckily, I chose to drive over to Bettendorf and inquire into availability. There was a trailer that had just been released from maintenance. So, I took the trailer immediately. You should review your policy on pickup location availability and determine how to avoid telling a customer that they need to drive 1 hour to a new pickup location. BTW---my reservation was probably made about a week before pickup and the system took it for Bettendorf pickup.Mark F.

Stop advertising $20 rentals when your charging 85 cents a mile on top of returning the fuel to full. Almost a dollar a mile, when the federal rate per mile is 58.5! Such a scam. I will never recommend uhaul to anyone! HorribleTYLER L.

The front brakes on the truck were the loudest and most worn down on any Uhaul I've rented. Windows are filthy, box was a little dirty,mobile check in did not work! .89 a mile is insane too folks!Robert L.
I recommended this service to my roommate who was moving out at the same time I was, and when he went to book the same size moving truck (10') just a few days later, the truck was 30 cents more a mile. Not really a complaint exactly, but I'm curious as to why that is...Bethany Z.

My $20 rental cost $90. I reserved 2 Dollie's that were not available. I'm not sure they were taken off my bill because it was still $90. I did not use one pack of blankets. Unopened. still charged. I only drove in town so I mileage was minimal. My bill was not itemized. They key was aftermarket and made the vehicle difficult to start.Julie N.

Used the app, it was really frustrating. Slow, glitchy, etc. I paid for 24 furniture blankets and received six. I was too busy moving stuff to call and complain and since I never actually saw any person, nor did the app have a place to mention that, I didn't know how to solve the issue. We did call before picking up in order to move our time due to a thunderstorm coming in, staff was friendly and helpful for that.Evan B.
