I made reservation for one location in Atlanta (2175 Piedmont) and UHaul changed the location without notifying me. Further, the new location was 30 minutes away (I had chosen Piedmont for convenience and service quality I had experienced there previously). This un-notified changed cost me 2 hours and resulted in me arriving home at 2AM after a 10 hour drive. Then, the new location couldn't get the trailer on my UHaul hitch and suggested I purchase a hitch that would work - the very same hitch I already had. Why he couldnt make mine work, I dont know, but it cost me a new hitch. All in all, this was not a good experience with UHaul - and the first time it hasn't been a good experience after renting multiple trailer and trucks over the last 3-4 years.andrew K.

Outside of the location and staff, my experience with U-Haul was unacceptable. My location was changed from one location to another and back without notification. Over-booking reservations cause a great convenience and cost me valuable time.Teyardia L.
Ensure trucks are thoroughly cleaned, pest free and have air conditioning. The first truck I was issued had a lot of roaches and had dirt in it. The second truck I was issued didn't have an AC. Both of these issues are completely unacceptable. No one should have to fear taking roaches home due to a truck having pests and no one should be subjected to driving a truck in 90+ degrees without air conditioning. This is the second time I was issued that truck. How hard is it to take the truck out of service until the AC is fixed. The U-Haul rep did discount mileage so I appreciate that, but it shouldn't have even been an issue to deal with.Rolanda M.

This was a terrible uhaul experience. The reservation I made was not fulfilled and no one from uhaul contacted me. I wasted my Saturday night looking for a replacement truck. Your franchises don't care, don't follow up and treat customers like they are a nuisance. Corporate uhaul has no clue about where trucks are, who has them and doesn't notify anyone. Upon arrival two or three staff were standing around and were asked if the drop off location was correct based on the address U-Haul at S Cobb & I-285 5285 S Cobb Dr Smyrna, GA 30080. It is unfortunate that neither staff knew their own address for business and directed us to another location. Some real BS with the gas tank whoever used it before me didn't fill up all the way fullâ€" just to where it barely hits F. You know how the gauge goes past F when it's actually full. So by the time I realized that it was too late to go back and say something. So I filled it up with 9 gallons yet I only did 57 miles. Unless the van gets 6mpg, then I got screwed on a few gallons. The check engine light was on when I received the Uhaul truck. Told the attendant and she said it was a new truck so she wasn't sure why the light was on. She did not replace the truck. Also no customer parking at this location. The attendant told me to park across the street at a Motel 6, which had a no trespassing sign on the property. This location is horrible logistically, bad setup and no customer parking to rent a truck. What sense does this make?Sheila J.
