The contract and the representative at the counter should explain that to return the vehicle after hours you must be at the U-Haul location. I dropped off truck shortly after 5pm but left when my ride arrived and then attempted to fill out info online but you have to be at the location. No one explained that when I rented the truck. Also, I topped the gas tank where I had received it and I was still charged for gas. I have a picture to prove my case. Thank you for your time.

It's all good! I needed a quick rental after a car accident, and I went with U-Haul until I heard from my insurance company. It was a little more truck than I needed, but hey, that's not U-Haul's fault!

The manager at 7am on Monday, 10/7 was beyond unfriendly. I showed up a few minutes early and waited outside the front door. When he came over to unlock the door, he did not even acknowledge me as I waived hello at him. Instead of providing excellent customer service, opening the door for me to welcome me in, and smiling and saying “good morning,” he unlocked the door and let us slam shut in my face as he turned away from me to walk back to the counter. His demeanor for the rest of my encounter was less than welcoming. Will not return to this location again.

Both times I have used uhaul the computers have been running extremely slow making for very long wait times and pick-up and drop-off, eating into rental time.
