Dean was great, very friendly. But his computer crashed 3 times, took over 45 mins to get my truck, since the computer kept giving errors I did not get the price i reserved online and unlimited miles. The trucks transmission felt like it was failing.

although I had a 9am reservation and arrived at 8:50, I was no able to check in until 9:16. Not enough staff to deal with the customers. all the customers appeared frustrated with the long wait . Checkout was fantastic.

Store customer service was rude and unprofessional/ self check out not available even when it’s advertised, same for check in

Citgo Gas Station on S. John Young — Guys were terribly rude when it came to me getting my deposit back for the truck. Contacted the location I picked it up from (Macaw) and they didn’t help out either. Had to contact customer service in order to know what to do to get my deposit back for the truck since they (Citgo) refused to give it me. She told me I could take it to a U-Haul location which was closed by the way in order for me to get it back. She was kind enough to give me 30 miles extra and for me not to have to fill the truck up again once I dropped it off. UHaul where I dropped it off said that they didn’t have my truck. Luckily I took a picture of the key as I dropped it in the drop off box. I showed them the pick and they then believed me. The gentleman at the counter couldn’t find any info on the conversation from the customer service rep. He told me I had to call customer service back and see if they knew anything. Then the manager was called on the phone and he eventually was able to see the truck/contract info was “on hold” and then they verified I was suppose to get my deposit. Overall horrible communication between all locations and customer service. Very inconvenient with the entire process of dropping the truck back off.

Got there at 4:59 and the attendant would not receive me. He directed me to just leave the truck. I returned the vehicle with exactly the same amount of gas as received yet was hit with a $7.20 surcharge. I feel I was ripped off and will not rent from UHaul again. The dimensions for the 9 foot van were not available on the web site. The interior dimension was critical. The overall clearance height was also not available. These should be available for future use.

The person that scheduled my appointment gave me the wrong size truck and they didn’t have the truck that I needed available. Just the easy move with a truck I couldn’t fit all my things in it. Would like a refund for inconvenience

My experience at the Orlando location went well, however, picking up in Provo, UT was a freaking joke. My U-Box was promised to be available May 3rd. I never got a call or an email that the box was there like I did when the Orlando location needed to know if it was ready to ship. I called customer service and spent 40 minutes on the phone with them so they could track where it was because according to the online tracking, it still said it was in Salt Lake City. Tika, the customer service rep, finally got the answer that it was in Provo, but it had just got there on the 4th, which is a Saturday. At this point, its too late to go get the box because they are about to close. So I go the next day. After I unload my box, I go talk to the people inside, asking why I didn't get a call or email from them. They can't find a reason why and then tell me IT"S BEEN THERE SINCE TUESDAY! I didn't take shifts at work this weekend to pick this up. I lost out on wages because someone couldn't do the simple task of calling me. I will never use this service again. Honestly none of my items were truly broken thank God, but you can tell it was not handled gently. My brand new lock was all sorts of messed up, items were not where I put them because they had moved so much in the trip. Never again is all I have to say.

Really poor customer service over the phone and on the web site. I had a reservation, went to the location and is not a u-haul branch. Spent 1 hour on the phone because nobody could help me and they kept transfer me to other rapresentative. Finally they sent me to this location, the manager was in the bathroom for 10 minutes, nobody was an the counter helping us on top of that when he gave us the truck my husband notice that there was some engine issue, notify the manager and he respond back oh is nothing... the truck SHUT OFF 3 times during moving... this was my first time use this service and I m sorry I m not going to use it again or neither refer it to a friend!!!!!

Staff friendly and helpful Truck was reasonably clean Truck was way too noisy for the cross country trip due to no insulation in the cab. We did our best to pack noise absorption material behind the seats, but that was costly in time and expense.

When I went to return my keys there were a few people in front of me and only one gentleman was working. He was assisting a customer with a truck and the couple in front of me and myself were returning trucks. Apparently we didn’t really need to be waited on and we could have just left the keys there. No one told us that if we are simply dropping off we could have just left the keys on the counter and they would process them later

Brakes were not confidence inspiring in the truck - the pedal travel was massive before any braking force was felt - additionally, the car made a lot of squealing noise under braking suggesting a potential failing master cylinder. Also, I reserved a 17’ truck and was given a 26’ with no other options, forcing me to fuel a much larger truck for my long move. I spent almost $100 in fuel to go 274 miles, meaning I got less than 8 MPG overall despite driving mostly on the highway.

I would not Recommend Uhaul. I can't believe you make a reservation online. Have a follow up call to double check the day before and when you arrive you still don't have what was asked for. How in the world do you not have moving blankets ?????? Ruined my whole move and will be sharing the experience with everyone. Nothing to wrap my belongings in

Charged for a cleanup fee when truck was returned clean. Seems like a Scam to me. I’ve rented from lots of locations and have never been charged a cleanup fee.

The check out process took longer than needed. I arrived 10 minutes before the facility opened, was the 2nd person in line, and did not check out until after 9:30 AM. I am unsure what took so long.

I made my reservation with over two weeks to spare to ensure my rental. The day before, I checked the reservation and it had been changed from 6 hours to 3. Mo one could tell me why. The day of the rental I was called saying my truck would not be available. They sent me to another location well out of my way and far from home and gave me a truck that was much too large. Overall, very disappointing service and no apologies or discounts offered for my troubles. What is the point of making a reservation if the company can't keep its own word? Definitely will go with a different company from now on. Moving is much too stressful as it is and a truck rental should be the one thing that must remain constant or else the move as a whole is canceled.

The counter wait time was ridiculously long- seems like more staff, or more efficient staff, would be helpful. I reserved a 10" truck, furniture dolly, and utility dolly. I was told that they only had the furniture dolly. Ok no problem, my movers can work with that. Then, there was no furniture dolly either! I ended up needing to pay extra because I guaranteed them at least one dolly. We returned the vehicle after hours on the same day (Friday, March 22). I noticed my card continuing to be charged. When I called, they said the truck wasn't on the lot. I provided them a description of when and where the truck was left. They suddenly were able to find it, and reversed the charges. Just wow! I won't use this location again.
