The poor lady who was working by herself had to do EVERYTHING! She was running around like a chicken with her head cut off. We had to wait a long time to pickup our trailer because she was the only one, but she did an awesome job. You guys need to give this woman a raise!

I extended rental for two extra days and I got a call from U-Haul (Matt) threatening to call the police on me if I didn't return it. I think the shows a lack of professionalism and a severe dearth internal of communication.

Had to drive 25 minutes away to pick it up since it was switched from our Original Uhaul location less than a mile from our home. The drivers side mirror rear view mirror wouldn't stay in place while drivingâ€"kept loosening up.

Everything was fine and the employees were helpful and friendly. Our only downside was that we had bought a bunch of boxes from uhaul a couple days prior to our reservation and were told they would buy back any unused boxes after our move. What they didn't say was that we needed the receipt even though a couple days later immediately after our move we still had 9 unused boxes, and returned to the store the next day after returning our uhaul rental, only to be told by the same guy who sold us the boxes that he couldn't buy them back without a paper receipt. It was kind of ridiculous and we'd just moved into our new spot and had no space to hold onto unused boxes so we ended up tossing them.

I reserved a certain size truck and it was not on the lot when I showed up at my scheduled pickup time. I was given a smaller truck, which resulted in me needing to make multiple trips for my move. This meant racking up and getting charged for twice as many miles.

No one came to greet me, no one explained how the drop off worked. I walked in and the guy behind the counter was counting the cash till money and never acknowledged me. I feel sorry for today's businesses when you can't hire decent staff.

Overall the rental process was very reputable if U-Haul. Even though recieving the truck with an eighth of a tank, having to put my own gas in it then paying gas mileage as well with their recommendation to return it a quarter of a tank was a bit absurd. Should be a better process for gas. Especially with prices as they are. But none the less, U-Haul always a go to.

The rep, Jade was very helpful and signing up for the trailer was a breeze. I like that my receipt is emailed to me upon returning the equipment which saves paper. One thing I would ask for is more parking for personal vehicles. Had to use one of the spots reserved for rental trucks when I arrived

If anything just staff more people for a busy location like this. Otherwise U-Haul was there for me on one of the worst days of my life, was able to reserve, and then pick up early like I needed due to an emergency. This unexpected moving experience was the easiest part of my day and was made possible by U-Haul and the wonderful employee who helped me.

What would be helpful is if I can get my receipt. When I checked out via mobile the amount on was $110 but my card was charged $147…I would like to see what the additional charges were for as the van was filled with fuel and clean.

For a Saturday morning at the end of the month they only had 1 person working and the store was packed and all of a sudden another employee comes running in late after 10am. When she pulled up my reservation number it wasn't even my name. She finally figured it out and rushed outside and was talking so fast and rushing me to take the truck and leave. I took pictures of the truck inside and out and when I got inside the smell was horrendous and the truck was disgustingly filthy!! It reeked of cigarette smoke, puke and I don't know what else. The bed of the truck was just as filthy as the inside. I had to wear rubber gloves just to touch the steering wheel as it was so nasty. I wasn't sure what I could probably catch just being inside of there. When I returned the truck I was as if everything was okay and I said no! The same girl was there and she seemed shocked. There was another guy there that asked if I mentioned it in the text app I received, I said no because when I opened it up it wasn't valid so how was I supposed to mention it in there. He was so rude just kept talking and wouldn't let me say anything. I told Jade I wanted her to look at the truck and she tried telling me the filth is what they use to clean with. I told her that was BS as it was dust and all of the gunk that was stuck in and on the doors, floorboard, dash, everywhere was not from stuff they clean with unless they clean with dirt. I asked for a credit of some kind and she said oh we can't do that because it is already closed out. Then the rude guy kept interrupting and they finally said only the manager can do that. I asked for him and of course he wasn't there. Good luck trying to call because you can't get through to anyone and you are on hold forever. I was able to tell the guy that supposedly cleans them that he had forgotten to clean that one and it needed to be hosed off on the inside, deodorized and definitely sanitized. I have never been so disappointed with Uhaul and I have never felt so dirty after renting and driving one of their trucks. I had to go home and shower because I felt like I smelled as bad as the truck did. UHAUL you should be ashamed of yourself to even allow one of your vehicles to be like this!!!!! I am so very disappointed not only with the truck rental but the customer service and the rudeness of your employees!!!!

This was the second pick up location as the first location did not have the equipment. . The first location was 112 miles away from my home. I drive 2 hours to get there and no truck. This has been the worst experience ever. I have posted my ordeal on Facebook to over 500 friends. Never agawill I use U haul or recommend it. I am out over 300 because of gas and rescheduling movers. Let alone waiting most if a day to get the truck.

When I showed up to my original reservation location they didn't have a truck for me, I was then routed to this location. Not only did they open up early, they then were able to get me into a bigger truck! From first pulling up I was treated, and the staff there is phenomenal!

The girl working the counter was a delight. Very friendly and helpful. This wasn't where we planned to pick up, but since you called and said you couldn't make good on a reservation held since February, we were able to scramble and find this location and had to act immediately. The employee was a Rockstar. Can't say that much for U-haul. In fact, I'll go out and spend $7500 on a cargo hauler before I rent another one from u-haul. What a lousy company.

Logistics of trailer availability could be improved. Original reservation was in N Scottsdale. No availability within 3 days so rescheduled for Tucson. Was able to re-reserve in Tempe. Rescheduled to Apache Junction due to overbooking. En route I received a call and was rescheduled for south Tempe. Did get a trailer and the staff was very friendly. New-ish trailer worked great. Return was easy.

I was told it had just under a half tank of fuel, not true, the bed of the truck was filthy. The cab was discussing. I brought back truck with a little more the a 1/4 of tank. More then what I was giving, and had it professionally cleaned. I would never use this location again after the charged my card for fuel. Also the manager on duty was completely rude. He, Matt, has no business in this line of work.

Not a location problem but the Uhaul internet site was difficult to use i.e. down loaded personal drivers license three times, unknown to us until we drove down to pickup our truck our truck pickup location was changed, only one truck key was issued making us tense on our 5 day drive not to lock the key in the truck or lose it.

Excellent service all around at this location - thank you. However my experience the time before at your location at 219 E McKellips Rd, Mesa, AZ 85201 in February was not good. The agent who checked in my trailer was rude, curt, oddly un service related - he even charged me for a full day with just 45 minutes into a "new" day, out of apparent grumpy spite for unknown reasons, which was subsequently refunded to me by a very cool phone agent - I didn't even request it - he just saw the wrong and righted it unsolicited.

I was frazzled anyway because the original location where I had reserved a Uhaul didn't have one available, so UHaul transferred me to another location, but when I arrived at the scheduled time, the location wasn't open and they did not answer their phone. So I was transferred to a third location. The third location did not provide the dolley I had requested but o didn't realize that until I was an hour away at the load site. When I returned the UHaul and let them know, they stated it was up to me to remind them before I drove off. A horrible experience from the start and next time im just hiring movers.
