Very challenging to maneuver in that small, crowded, one-way in and same-way out lot. Should have an entrance/exit onto Chester Ave, or else a way to pull around the back of the building and then out the driveway you came in. Staff were helpful. Paid for 24h rental (5p-5p), got back after closing time (7pm), so did the remote return through the app, which was really easy. But not pleased to find we had been charged for a SECOND 24h period, when there's no way the trailer could've been rented to another customer in the 2 business hours remaining that day ….

I was overcharged $46 for Gasoline even though we filled to the 1/2 mark and that's where it should -have been. Contract #20796948. Tried to reach manager numerous times and I could not get reach him (Michael). Very unfair and should be resolved by someone. Poor customer service.

The truck smell like cigarette smoke, I used a disinfectant cleaner in it to give it a fresh smell. The young lady and gentlemen that actually took care of me at the front desk were very helpful, great customer service and friendly. Upon return of the truck it was a lady working outside who was very verbal and rude. I went inside and gave the keys to the gentleman that originally took care of me.

The first team member wasn't able to get me checked in for our truck because he “only works on the weekends” and it took a lot longer until the manager helped out. I also asked if they had a queen sized mattress protector because there wasn't one on the rack and the guy again said he didn't know where they would be because he only works on the weekend, but didn't even look and the entire time was sitting holding a cigarette. It just seemed unprofessional. The manager was able to find one though and I appreciated it. The truck was dirty there was crud in the cup holders and on the carpeting. The truck had 42 miles to empty when we got in and a check engine light and the team said it was fine to take. I would have preferred to have been swapped to a different truck. Additionally, I didn't opt for insurance going a short distance. It rained for less than an hour and the moms attic of the truck leaked in and soaked my couch ruining its cover that I had to replace. To me the insurance should have covered something that was my fault or an accident. The truck should have never been leaking, so I am disappointed that uhaul didn't reimburse me for this or offer compensation as I don't feel like I should have needed the insurance for their truck to be in good working order. Returning the truck was simple and the woman at check out was quick.

Reserved a couple of days before got there the van i reserved light was broke In had to wait while he tried to fix it then when i returned i stuff in line for over a hour to return it was only one worker and when i fishy got up there the guy says you can just leave the keys but the guy that was there initially told me i had to wait in line it in the uhaul n someone Would come out there was out there first but about 20-30 min before the wait in the store just a horrible horrible experience will never rent a uhaul again i have rented from there previous but this time i probably ain't hi Back to this location at all never had this problem there before but won't go back

Hitch electric was hard wired to my battery terminal instead of using a fuse. A week later the setup had a short (ie, poor install) which caused my car to lose all power and strand me. I had a new battery and alternator. I removed the wire connection from the battery and all is well now. I just have a trailer wiring setup that I cannot use. The short could have ruined my alternator or worse cause a fire. Also, the call center told me they had a Saturday opening at another location, which I went to before this one. That location showed that the call center scheduled me for the next Thursday. What a disaster.

The check-in process was smooth. The staff member upon check-in was great and very professional. Unfortunately, the staff during checkout was unprofessional. No one acknowledged my and one other customers presence as they joked and played around talking about sex. The female clerk must've bumped her leg on the edge of the desk and was making slurs and cursing. The manage came in and asked her why she hadn't helped us she stated "I'm not helping anything until I can help myself stop this pain'.

the truck had a lot of visible damage that was more than just dents and dings. it a black plastic piece hanging from under the bumper dragging in the ground and when i showed the team that worked there the rep said it was not a big deal, i also pointed out blue tape on both windows and the damage on the top of the hood and he said it was reported and was not a big deal and no other vehicles where available but someone came and walked in with no reservation for the same size truck. the location is convenient. I also took photos and reported how dirty it was which was not fair because i only used the truck to transport balloons but had to slean someone elses filth and sweep their dirt and clean spilled coffee out the cup holders and grime off dash like it had not been cleaned in a long time.

Aside from the trucks check engine light being on and the gas tank being on Empty, and an irate customer in the store during the rental due to the extreme wait, someone STOLE the catalytic converter from my vehicle while it was on premesis. I'll be filling a police report and pursuing and legal action to recover costs.

Staff are very rude and not helpful. Store staff stated we couldn't leave uhaul at Cleveland 55th Chester location. Store staff contacted the GM. GM stated if I uhaul at their location then I would be charged a 1000$ fee for returning a vehicle from Cleveland Rockside/Northfield location. I don't appreciate the bad attitude and lack of help from store staff and GM.

I NEEDED TO GET MY STUFF OUT OF STORAGE. It was in storage due to U-HAUL on the west side not having my cubes. I told myself that I would never use U-Haul again. I'm here to tell you that Vance, his brother, and the whole crew went out of there way to get me where I needed to be. I was thinking about a couple of options, and they laid them out for me; making my decision process easier. When I found out that my license expired 2 days earlier, they held my trailer reservation until the next day when I was able to get my daughter to bring her license. I was in & out several times, and when I came through the door, they always greeted me by name. I was a great experience; and I usually was laughing and joking with the staff the whole time! Vance and his crew have restored my faith in U-Haul. It was a pleasure to do business with them. I should have stuck with my local store and stayed away from on-line rents.

Not a thing!!! I picked up my [almost] brand new ride in the middle of a blizzard! Vance Amison was amazing! His professional demeanor, his preparation of the vehicle, his helpfulness at the the beginning of my journey made the remainder effortless. He anticipated hazards i might have encountered on my "journey", including road closures due to weather, etc., and the relatively small but important perquisites he afforded me melted all of my troubles away! Bonus this guy!

Inspect the vehicle properly. The fuel was marked incorrectly on the vehicle that I was rented, so I ended up being charged $10.50 for 2 gallons of fuel, although the van was only on 1/4 tank of gas, not 1/2 of a tank. Also, I would like to request $50 because the pickup truck that I reserved was not available when i arrived to the Uhaul location.
