I believe she was the general manager. I have been in a few times recently and I always happy to have her look after me. She is the face of your company directly with customers and she is absolutely wonderful and a delight.

I have been able to talk to someone. I arrive to pick up a truck that was scheduled weeks in advance The would not start so they use booster cables and boots that truck. But I was uncomfortable about drugs so they gave me another truck. But all information paperwork was filled out on the truck wouldn't start gas mileage etc. I ordered two bags of blankets. But one bag got put in the truck that I couldn't take and one bag was put in the truck that I took. So I only ended up at one bag of blankets. I've been trying to call the Blackfoot office I can't seem to talk to someone who knows where my proper paperwork is still have not received a proper check out???

Calling my second contact on the spot, without warning, seemed invasive and odd. A warning would have gone a long way. Also, when returning the trailer I wish there was a supply of blocks to put behind the wheels, I need up using old pallets to ensure it didn't roll back. All in all though, great experience and value - will be back for sure!

Staff outside walked us through the process but the inside staff offered little guidance about where to go or who to talk to. The check engine light had apparently been on for three years? That was not encouraging.

The online pick up service did not work. After 30 mins of frustration, I called the 1 800 number and was put on hold for 45 mins. They were able to reset my password and then the online process worked. Overall very frustrating.

I had a ATV that was 5 feet wide to move this morning. Your 5 foot wide x9 trailers are 4 inches short of that distance so I went back and re-ordered a 6 foot wide X11ft trailer and the gate was still 4 inches shorter than 5 feet so I went back a third time to get a car hauler. Please just advertise correct dimensions thank you.

Keep those people in Calgary, especially Taisha - they are gold!! I have used U Haul for almost every move I've had, U.S. and Canada, and this was by far the worst experience ever! That's saying a lot! When we stated where we started , the crew in Calgary said" Oh....Regina". Thanks for that. I will not repeat this experience again without a LOT of questions up front. I am really, really disappointed that my expectations of a trouble-free move went sideways in every way possible and I will not trust that it may not happen again. I will warn any one who asks how the move went - your company failed us badly!

I picked up the truck with no issues. When I dropped the truck the girl asked me to leave the keys with the staff member at the door. I left at 2 pm and till 5:20 pm I did not receive any confirmation of contract closure. I called customer service who was extremely unfriendly in the second time. and did not offer any help and hang up in very unprofessional way. I have to drive back to the store 20km to check what went wrong in my check out,very lousy and careless staff. very very unpleasant experience

This isn't just a comment about this uhaul location. U-Haul seems to purposely mislead customers regarding the cost of one way trailer rentals. Not once prior to check in was I informed that one way rentals have their own special made-up cost that is (according to uhaul) a price designed to control inventory. I'm pretty sure this is called price fixing and is not a respectable business practice. Not only is it not advertised separately from the day rate but I couldn't find any information about one way rentals and was not informed that it would be 700% more than the day rate for a trailer until I tried to check in online the day before my move and was presented an exorbitant bill. I was told I was to get a phone call to confirm my booking but that never happened. Maybe if I'd gotten that call I would have known better and had time to find alternate arrangements but thats all part of the scheme U-Haul has prepared isn't it? When I called about it the response was "you should have known". Are you kidding?! You should have made it clear from the moment I booked the trailer what the price was going to be and not misled me by only advertising the day rate. Instead, I put double the wear and tear on your trailer (1400 km instead of 700 km) because of this asinine pricing structure. I am very displeased and very unlikely to use U-Haul in the future. What crooks!

I frequently rent recently (business). Quick service and generally seem to have required equipment on hand. Parking continues to be a major issue for this location when renting a truck. No place to leave the personal vehicle. The 5 or 6 visitor spots and 3 street parking spots are always occupied. Ongoing for years.

Desk staff girls excellent. Truck had French fries on floor , low gas, black charcoal or black grout on box floor, ice on box floor that never melted. Exhaust or antifreeze leak smell in the cab when it first started up really really bad to the point where we had to open up the doors to breathe.

The whole thing was a disaster. I was given another van as the key was lost to the original van I was assigned. When I returned it I stood at customer service for a half hour while they tried to figure out my bill. Then because of this wait my blue canvas trolley ($100) was taken as the van was inspected upon arrival or went rented out again. I have been trying to reach someone on the phone to inquire about getting my trolley back but it is painstakingly difficult to maneuver through the 1-800 line.

However, at the return moment I ran into the issue - two smart guys blocked driveway and there was not much left to fix that as well as no real chance to call anybody at 5:30pm on Sunday. I do understand that nobody wants to work overtime but having a mess like that also not the best option.

The service team, ie the people running the tills, are extremely disorganized. I reserved a trailer for 10 am and didn't leave the lot until 1055. Why it took this long is not the fault of the service crew, they just seemed completely swamped with the volumes of vehicles they needed to sort out. The service guy I saw was super helpful though, a beacon of competence compared to the rest.

Perhaps an extra customer service representative that walks the client to their truck goes over the truck inspection with them helps adjust mirrors (I didn't know how to and had to flag down a rep to help which they did) and just takes a little more time with the customer's until the customer leaves the parking lot. The parking lot seemed a but of a free for all today but I was able to find people to help me with my questions It was a pleasant experience

Was scheduled to pick up at 9 a.m. Sunday, Oct 24. When we arrived, there were plenty of employees working in the yard, but the office was not open. The office employees arrived at least 30 minutes late, putting us one hour behind schedule. Normally I would think I am never using this company again, but your Employee Akim went above and beyond trying to make everyone happy. The women in the office, though late, were quick, efficient and pleasant, but it was Akim who really stood out and provided above EXCELLENT customer service, so because of him I would recommend your company. You have a real gem of an employee with him!

I booked a truck, appliance dolly, and furniture pads in advance. When I arrived there was no appliance dolly available (we took a utility dolly instead) and the staff had to get the pads (which was only a very minor delay). Booking in advance seemed nearly pointless.
