While my experience with this U Haul location has always been good, I am extremely upset that at the Baldwin Hills location I went & purchased moving supplies & booked a truck for 8am the next day. However the agent mistakenly booked my truck for 8pm & I was left without a truck to move out on Saturday, causing much frustration & additional costs, including having to keep the truck I did secure at the Crenshaw location through Sunday - again at additional costs to me. Very disappointed & frustrated!

Uhaul employee was almost an hour late opening the store making me an hour late to return home with the truck. Meanwhile, two hourly movers sat at my home waiting on the clock. Also, the later start had me in traffic both directions causing additional expenses. Lastly, the truck was very dirty with less than half a tank when I picked it up.

I was unable to adjust the driver seat for my comfort. Also was told I could not leave my car until I return with the truck. I could not get anyone to drop me off and pick me tip. Customers should be allowed leave their car until the truck is returned.

The owner of this location did not give proper information. Charged mine card card without authorization. Corporate needs to you into this type of behavior and make some additional training and compensation for this matter

Equipment looked well maintained but it was not clean. Honestly, it didn’t really matter that the exterior was dirty (they do sit outside and I don’t think they wash them). The interior was clean though and everything worked well.

Uhaul= the leader in addons, fees, and nickle and dime policies. The super low rental rate is misleading as you'll end up paying five times that in fees, mileage charges, fuel charges, addon fees and so on. there are definitely other choices in the rental business, and you should explore those choices before using uhaul for a local move. never again.

Amazing service. Being able to use the phone for pick up and drop off is incredible. Only change I’d like to see is the 2nd I walk in to pick up the keys I get my keys handed to me. Even if there’s only one employee and they’re working with a client I want them to see me with the app and say oh pardon me for 15 seconds while I check his identification and give him his keys.

Tremendous lack of misinformation and inability to complete simple task (e.g. split the payments for different services) then did not include additional items like the dolly I paid for and THEN refused to compensate me for the additional mileage I had to spend to drive back to them because of their mistake or show any sign of remorse for their mistake. All around at terrible experience and I would not return if my life depended on it. Do better. Be better.

Customers read your receipts carefully. They will add on additional charges that were never discussed. I was told the insurance was $10. I was charged $20. I picked up the van around 3pm and said I would return it at 8pm. Representative wrote 7pm and then charged for an after hours fee. It was a one day rental that was returned with five hours. I will call and speak to a manager. I am used to better service at this location.

We had originally rented a truck for 7am. I went through all the steps to get it at this designated time. I arrived to this location and brought up the application to pick up the car. There was a delay and I started a chat conversation to obtain assistance. It took over an hour to get someone on chat to help me. When I did, the chat was closed before there was any resolution. At this time, I was also on hold for over an hour. Once I spoke to a representative, I also did not find resolution on why I could not get the truck I had preordered. I had to wait till the office opened which delayed everything for the day including the time I had my movers. They were ready early in the am and I had already paid the cost for the early hours. I spoke to management as well and was not offered anything for the inconvenience. The overall experience was horrible and really made my moving day a difficult process. I will not be renting from uhaul again.

We needed significantly more assistance when trying to attach a dolly to a car. We had never done this before and they were not very helpful; we practically had to beg them to come assist us at all..... plus the light was broken on the dolly.

This location stated that the truck had 364 miles less than what the truck stated. When I caught the error the manager stated that he would have charged me for it and that it’s my responsibility to check the miles not the employee

This location was great but the main location 5051 Obama Blvd which I applied was horrible , I was told by the manager on the phone to go to Crenshaw to get my truck , very rude people At this location and no customer service at all , very aggressive , not polite , waiting 30 minutes for my turn and then accusing me for being late ... worst experience ever
