Tim BWhile the facility was fantastic, the truck was not. The vehicle had some sort of damage to it that wasn’t visible to the naked eye. In order to get the doors to close we had to slam them very hard and if I went over 50 mph the van shimmied as was almost uncontrollable. There is absolutely no way I could have used this vehicle for a long distance move or on a highway.
Matthew DI was surprised to find a hand truck and packing packing blankets in the back of the truck. I specifically did not order these things. Not only were they in the way but on the way back to return the truck a bump in the road knocked the hand truck free breaking the tie down. I expect to be charged for it but it seems a little shady.
Mike DI am writing to express my dissatisfaction and frustration with my recent experience using U-Haul's services. I placed an order, Order #15423710, for two U-Boxes on September 25, 2023. One of these containers was completely full, and the other was almost empty. Both boxes were intended to be delivered to the same location and subsequently to my apartment on October 13, 2023. I also paid for the helper service that U-Haul recommended to me. Regrettably, as of today, October 16, 2023, one of the boxes (the full one) has not yet arrived. This situation has caused significant inconvenience and distress for me. To cope with the delay, I had to spend the weekend in a hotel, incurring additional expenses, and today I was compelled to purchase an air mattress and blankets as an interim measure. This situation has not only disrupted my plans but has also been emotionally and financially burdensome. Furthermore, my dissatisfaction is compounded by the fact that U-Haul already deducted the full payment for both containers, even though I have not received the service as agreed upon. This prepayment for services not rendered is highly frustrating, as I expected to be charged once the service was provided in full and in a timely manner. I understand that unforeseen circumstances can occasionally cause delays, but the lack of communication and transparency regarding the status of my delivery is particularly disappointing. Customer service team multiple times contacted me, but I have not received a satisfactory response or a clear timeline for the delivery of the missing U-Box. (my complain is not against the lady form Dallas that has been trying to help me, she is very nice) I kindly request that U-Haul addresses this situation promptly by delivering the outstanding U-Box and compensating me for the inconvenience and additional expenses I have incurred due to the delay. It is essential that your company takes responsibility for the lapse in service and ensures that such issues do not occur in the future. I trust that U-Haul will investigate and resolve this matter expeditiously to maintain the trust and satisfaction of its customers. Please contact me at your earliest convenience to discuss how this issue can be resolved and to provide a reasonable timeline for the delivery of the missing U-Box.

Wayne J | Overall ExperienceMy only issue, and this is minor, is that the motion-sensing lights would sometimes go off while I was still in the locker rearranging things, and I'd have to walk back out and down the hall to reactivate them. It wasn't so dark I couldn't function, but it would have been nice if the lights had stayed on a bit longer. I probably stayed in the locker shuffling stuff longer than the average customer and for an average user the timing would be fine, but that's my only minor quibble. I'd go back again if I needed a storage locker.
