My pick up was for 8am however we lost A very good family friend on early Saturday morning. I call & explained I would be in about 8:30 or so. Was not told truck rental started at 8:00 am . I sign contracts at 8:58.I've been using U haul for many years at McCart & Altamesa until it close. Started using Altamesa & West Creek afterward. It was always perfect with great friendly employees until Saturday 4/13/24 Unfriendly. Guy. He was Very COLD. Truck sound & drove like A Semi. When I drove truck back in A very nice guy met me and check me out , was very friendly, and cheerful. Thanks to Coustomer Service that extended my check out time. Not sure I will use this location again. location again.

Unfortunately i trusted the workers and didn't review the mileage on the truck since it was local I was in a hurry and I had never had a problem. but fortunately I had taken a picture of the dash board before i drove off. When I got back the attendant said the tank was 13/16 full, my picture showed it was more like 11/16 full and the mileage on the contract xxx406 and my picture showed it was xxx414. I got gyped but never again. I asked for a printed receipt before i left the counter and would have saw the disparity had I had the paper copy, but for some crazy reason I didn't look at the email before I left and that was on me. but of course the attendant was saying ppl be stealing gas, but I know you cant put siphoning hoses down into the tanks, and the mileage was about 10 miles off.. So I will always make them produce a paper copy from now on.

I went inside to purchase supplies and get assistance with the app as I chose to pick up the truck through the app. Once I found the truck behind the store, I was sent back inside to get the key, which was a huge inconvenience. In the past keys were inside of the truck and that is what I was expecting. Also the 2 dolly's I requested were not in the truck which made me have to go back inside for a 3rd time to get those.

The truck maybe needs an alignment but other than that the trip from DFW Texas to FL was great. I spent around $350 dollars in gas, not bad for a regular gasoline truck. 100% recommended. Great customer service!

Get better servailliance so your workers don't have to deal with ppl stealing gas from the trucks, I felt bad for the worker because he kept having to reassign trucks to us, related to all trucks being out of gas from someone stealing the gas from the trucks the night prior.. the worker is very good and helpful and was working very hard, thank you Uhaul, we love yall!

Never went in the office. We arrived to drop off the truck as the worker was just leaving. He looked at us several times, not saying anything as he walked back and forth. I couldn’t locate the place on my phone to return it electronically.. Then the man finally said, as we were looking for the place to drop the key, to drop the key in the door and they would take care of it in the morning.

This was not my preferred location and I had to go 12 miles out of my way to get to this location for the truck. The gentleman at the counter was nice. However, I was just given keys and my receipt and told to go find my truck in a whole parking lot of trucks with the number he gave me. (Every other u haul I’ve ever rented the person went with me to the truck and made sure I was all set.) I also rented a dolly which was not in the truck like it was supposed to and then I had to go back into the store for that. For what usually takes me about 15 minutes to actually pick up a truck took me 45 minutes so I was not pleased with this location.

When I walked into the shop, there was an overwhelmingly strong body odor smell. When I met the guy around back to receive my trailer it was him. He smelled so bad. If you are going to be interacting with customers, you should smell better.

The mediym sized unit number I was originally assigned online had a door so small I couldn't even get my recliner through it and then the manager Richard gave me another unit with an uneven floor and short corner making it impossible to stack items because they leaned forward which caused me to lose half the storage space. I am very, very, very unhappy. I have been a Uhaul client for over 20 years but this is my last experience.

Once I got to the 1st fort worth uhaul storage facility the owner was an absolute monstrosity. There was a storm the night prior and he was not able to provide any assistance. I ask did he have any way of contacting another facility to ask if they were good and he stated no in an unprofessional manner while he had his cell phone on his belt buckle. Then my father attempted to talk to him in which th guy started to talk under his breathe acting as if he wanted to have a confrontation. We contacted uhaul in which they sent us to another facility. Once we got to the other facility the unit that was available was not the size like it was advertised. A 10x10x8 cannot hold a 1200 to 1600 Sq ft apartment or home unless you literally have to stack everything to the ceiling. So I had to get 2 storage unit in order to just simply pack up my 1069 Sq ft 2 bedroom apartment. The employees at this facility that provided the facilities were not helpful at all and I made a comment stating I would never use uhaul again in which the employee stated I don't blame you. He over talked me as well Once I stated as an employee whybwould you say that and his response was laughing back at me. I asked if there was any discounts due to this not being my fault due to false advertisement on proper storage of Sq ft and he said not at all and he doesn't know where uhaul as a company get there measurements from basically insulting uhaul. Word and quote ""uhaul thinks every apartment is very conservative on what's in people's homes and doesn't understand what people may have."" Now instead of me paying 124 a month for a storage unit I'm now forced to pay 300 a month for 2 storage units! I will never be using uhaul again after I move officially in April or may time frame. Absolutely the worst experience I could have.

felt like a restricted teenager that had to follow imaginary rules. Not to mention: i only could access my belongings at designated times. also i felt they chose the worst position to store my belongs whereas not only walking up a flight of stairs but way in the deepest harder far corner of the facility. in closing: i've never caused any issues, never missed a payment, never had a late payment, and i'm always on time. & as far as recommendations: not even my worst enemies. & this is how i spend my hard earned money, thanks!

There was an ant infestation in my storage unit in which i had to leave some of my things behind and staff did not seem to care when i told them. A u haul driver named Jerome also backed up into my personal vehicle while he was trying to park his car and proceeded to get out of his car and cuss me out. Once i told the U-Haul office this they did not seem to escalate the issue. Terrible experience and i will never be using U-Haul again.

The only issue I ever really had was when I moved in, there were no units available for what I was looking for, so I had to settle and get a climate controlled unit. It put me in a bind and I had to come out of extra money a month. Nonetheless, the staff was friendly, the unit was clean and they never tried to scam me. I had this unit for a year and never really had issues, only dealing with payment. If I ever moved back to Fort Worth, I would move back to the same Uhaul.

I 100% believe that your staff is a representation of the manager or business' owner. Compliments and shout-out to the gentleman that helped me when I picked up the Van, I don't know his name, "No disrespect" but be was a (Tall, heavy-set, "not fat," more muscular) guy... He was very helpful and attentive. Patiently explained to me how to navigate the u-haul app. The long haired- young man that helped me afterwards with the storage rental was more quiet, like an introvert/ monotone person, but he too was very helpful, and explained everything regarding the storage. But what most impressed me, was his chivalrous mannerisms when he opened and held the door open for me, I was glad to see that chivalry is not dead in young people! Side Note: My interactions with the young lady at this location, is also A+ she has a very kind disposition. Gosh! Even the others that I encountered outside, who had a u-haul shirt on were very nice!! Like I said at the beginning "the staff is a direct representation of the manager." *Thank you.*

I moved out of my unit on July 7th and was told I would be emailed the move out receipt. Here we are almost a month later and I get an email stating my next payment will be on the 4th. Try calling the number for this location and all it does is send you to a toll free automated system…. Can’t get anyone on the phone from the actual location….terrible service.

The people at the front desk gave us no information about the storage unit. When I bought the unit. I bought a regular lock to lock my storage. When I returned my lock was cut off and a round lock I didn't own was on my storage. After going to the front desk. I was told only round locks could be used. I was not told then when I bought storage locker and lock at the same time. While moving my things into the storage locker. My card was not activated properly and I could not open the door to the storage grounds. I had to hold onto several very large objects over night and wait for the front desk to open in order to get my card fixed. When I asked the front desk person is there any thing I should know cause I was not told about the lock. He said nothing and I asked him I can come back any time. He confirmed that I can go to my storage locker anytime of day or night. I returned later that night only to find out that was not true. My unit was only available to me during working hours and I could not access it at night. I had to upgrade in order to get night time access. Every step of the way using this location was horrible and unfriendly. Only one person there was any type of help.

I really didn’t understand why I would make a reservation for a unit and it not be available when I go sign in. I was offered a bigger one, but the ceiling was so low, I wasn’t able to keep a few of my items and I had to pay more for it. I feel that we shouldn’t have to pay more to have 24 hour access to the facility if we have to pay more not to have it as well. Trying to talk to someone over the phone was a pain. Outside of that, I did feel that my stuff was safe and secure there

I do want you to know you may want to watch your video on 7/18/21 afternoon around 2-3pm. Your employee driving your trucks was driving very dangerous..he almost flipped a truck, he was squealing tires as he drove around the corners.. my husband went in to talk to a manager, he was told there was not one on duty.. this employee could have hurt or even killed someone with the way he was driving. Was afraid to step out or pull my dodge out to leave feeling he may wreck into us.. please look at your videos.. thank you, Kimberly Whitney

During rental, I was told and receive an email that 10x10x10 climates control unit was reserved. However, after arriving and show reservations. No unit available, perhaps Uhaul servers need to be more accurate regarding storage units. I was given a 5x10 and I had to rent a 5x10 Just to stored all my items

The sliding doors are dangerous. Someone can easily loose a hand, finger or get crushed. Workers should warn customers of this. Also if there are small kids coming along to help this could be tragic.

The contract information was scetchy. the price for the space was constantly going up though nothing else changed I made The Choice to move to a different facility I won't be using U-haul again
