Using online reservation improved process.
Kevin MIt was all fine. Did on-line. Did early check in. I arrived early morning. In and out within 5 min. Dropping off was the same. Great easy to find and open location.
THOMAS KBill was great. Performed the hitch install. Kept me informed as to what it would take time wise etc. Perhaps a chair while waiting might of been nice. ;-)

Douglas RInstallation technician went beyond expectations when I returned and mentioned a rattleling in rear of vehicle. He immediately got under the vehicle on the ground. Explained the reason for the noise and made needed adjustments of the muffler. The noise has not returned. Well done!

mike rAlthough the communication from your team was always polite, it sometimes was incorrect. I received a text, and call about when my UBOX would arrive to its storage location, GREAT! But on the day it arrived, i received a call from the driver stating “where do you want me to bring the box”, as if it wasn’t t being stored. On the day it was delivered , the driver, (lost) called and she had the wrong address. So perhaps the communication with the drivers and dispatchers could be improved. I have been incredibly impressed by the phone and text updates. Very helpful.

Peter DTruck was unsafe. Picked up on a rainy day and one of the wipers had no clip to hold it on. As soon as I turned the wipers on it fell off. Had to tie it on with string. Driver side seat belt didn't work. It wouldn't even go on the latch..

Christina GI was charged about $16 more than my estimate (which was $28). Never received a final bill/statement to explain the added cost. Drove the vehicle 4.6 miles and returned it in about 45 minutes. The store representative said I was all set and could leave without closing out my bill, so this extra came as a big surprise. Probably won’t use U-Haul again.

Edwin VI originally reserved a truck for moving to a new location at the Kennedy Dr., Putnam location. A very courteous young man assisted me. When I showed up the following week to get the truck, a different man was working, said he couldn't find any record of the reservation, was angry because he "didn't have time for this shit" and they "weren't supposed to be renting trucks that week (there were 4 or 5 in the lot)" and told me to call UHAUL. When I asked for a number, he said he didn't have it and walked away. A patron waiting for an oil change said she couldn't believe how "rude that bastard was." I got the # for UHAUL, they found the reservation instantly and sent me to Webster, MA. They saved the day for me!
Lisa HFirst I went to the location after booking online and including an appliance dolly and they had none available. The person working behind the counter was apologetic but that doesn’t help me move a washer and dryer. Additionally, when I returned the vehicle I was charged $50 extra with no extra receipt or explanation of the charge. I used 20-25 miles of gas which does not cost $50 and there was no damage to the vehicle. Ultimately very disappointed with the experience.

I wasn't happy to find there wasn't a stand on the tongue of the trailer as I needed to pack it and unhook to attach my own trailer and boat to move to new location. Had to take Jack stand to unhook from truck. Guy actually tried to hook the chains to the shackles on my rear bumper and I had to tell him no and I will do it. And u haul needs to offer bigger trailers. I would have rather spent 3k on a used trailer then spend 200 for the uhaul again

Joseph IHello, several of my items have been damaged a lot during this relocation in Ubox containers. My tv stand, dining table, and one chair. Also the stand mirror has been broken completely. I already sent the photos to one of your colleagues. The delivery person was witnessed that one of the uboxes has been broken apart on one side and it caused the damages. Repwest insurance has made contact with me and I sent them all the photos but I haven’t received any feedback.
Noorbakhsh AI was lucky and got unit 1313. Was able to move things in while shopping around for an apartment and found a great place then moved things back out. The loading garage and carts make this location extra convenient. Didn't have to lug things out in the rain and the cold. Very nice feature.

And he also set me up with a storage unti where I could pull in and unload which was awesome given we were getting 4 inches a hour for rainfall that day

Juste EHave somebody in the store so when a truck is returned you don’t have to search the plaza looking for help. Print out a paid receipt for customers paying cash instead of just saying “You are all set”.
Torrey W1 of the four Tires and Rim did not match the others. According to the roadside tech, it was an older style, and tire was so old, it was about to separate. It was a old style Bias Ply, and should have been a Radial.In addition, the trailer vibrated significantly at over 55MPH for 340 Miles. This was caused by at least one of tires being out of balance. All the tires were worn at at different levels, one should have been replaces, but was in U-Haul spec, but not industry best practices. Some of the chains were missing the rubber keeper. The Tech confirmed my UTV was properly loaded.

Francis RTruck was in Rough shape and interior was not clean. Seats were sticky and ashes in the ashtray of the no smoking truck. Office complex was clean, well stocked and displayed and the service representative was helpful.

I felt like if I did not answer I might not get great service like I did the first two days. I inquired the first day and came back the next day to get a unit. I liked what I saw and heard but now I am afraid of being badgered because I did not get back to you right away. I liked the vasility but was disappointed with the floor. Everything was so new looking but the floor.
