After booking and walking out door to leave with our packed up U-Haul we were notified that our drop off location was not able to be our drop off location! So when got to our destination we had to drive 55 mo Ute’s one way with 11 inches of snow just fallen in north woods!! Wasted 1/2 a day of our vacation driving in storm to return the U-Haul When it was supposed to be 1 minutes from our location! Wasn’t happy at all.

This is the best Uhaul location I have rented from. Fast and reliable. Never have issues at this location like many other Uhaul locations where they don't have the reserved trucks and/or it takes forever to check in/out.

No one ever called me the night before as stated on the reservation information. I made a call. That guy was nice. I had it reserved for 6 am and then was told I needed two references to bother at that time of the morning. Whoever was supposed to call the references took their time. The entire checkout process wasted over 45 minutes of moving time. Clearly not the way we wanted to start our 200-mile relocation.

I was charged my fee and the fee for the person that rented the U-Haul before me. I was told by one of the associates that they would handle the issue, then never got a call back. I then spoke with the central customer service who stated that they would reach out to the manager, and I still haven't gotten a call back. My fee was $70 and I was charged an extra $130 for another person's use of the truck. I didn't realize that I have to micromanage a service like this to prevent getting scammed. I guess I'll do this in the future. The truck smelled like cigarette smoke and the driver's door didn't articulate well with the frame. It felt like the door was open the whole time I drove the truck. Rebecca Nickels.

Overall all of the employees who work here are good. I usually rent once or more than one per month. Equipment I'm looking for always tend to be here. However, they need to carry atleast 4x8 cargo trailer since that is the only piece missing.

Security gate has not been operational for 2 years. Gate is left open during business hours, yet rate on unit was high compared to other nearby locations with functioning security. Difficult to reach location by phone, calls frequently forwarded to call center. On the move out day no one was in the office either time I went in.

For one I would start off by asking the person if it’s a in town rental or a one way trip. Also, the equipment they rented me didn’t say in town rental on it. But now I am having to pay extra because the lady who did mine at this location did me for a in town when I told her I was going to Mississippi. All she said was you signed it, when I talked to her once I was in Mississippi. That isn’t very customer friendly. As well as you should ask the customer if this is correct instead of just saying you’re all set. Now I am having to pay a tremendous amount more for this U-Haul and I won’t have the money to finish Christmas shopping… So no I would not recommend this place or U-Haul again.

I reserved 20ft truck and i was forced to accept a 15footer. The lock on the back door defective. I was charged same amount. Even though I did this reservation over 2 weeks in advanced I did not get what I reserved .

I ordered a climate controlled unit online as it said there were many available. Come to find out that’s what the website “assumes” and it “expects a tenant to move out” before your move in date. Needless to say, the website is a joke and I did not get what I requested. Otherwise, it’s a great location for apartment storage.

My unit has a hole in the ceiling. It did not leak or damage my belongings. However I would have preferred that it was fixed.

I relocated out of state so storage was my immediate temporary option, after the first 60 or 90 days my monthly storage fee increased which caused stress as I really needed to keep my expenses low during the relocation. I would have enjoyed to be locked in on one rate up until one year.

Poor seeing as there was a rent increase and I was only notified the month before the increase, only five months after getting the unit. Also, the gate was always open, making all units accessible to any one with or without a storage unit. Also, upon moving my belongings out, there was dried salt all over the walls of the storage unit, as well as my items. That shows that snow/rain water entered my unit, then dried. That wouldn't be possible if just a little effort went into putting a water resistant strip at the bottom of the doors. Paying as much as I did each month, maybe consider taking it out of that and fix the problem.

Overall the units were nice. The only thing I didn't like was that the units I got for free for a month with my one way move were not large enough to hold the items I was moving. I had to rent additional units.

They are scams an they steal me n a family member n also friend tried to pay for my stuff several times and even did pay for it have proof that it was paid for the supervisor at the site wouldn't take it n even tried to raise it 300 more dollars n wen it was paid over the phone with costumer service the supervisor tried to say that it wasn't excepted and sold my unit. But proper steps with the law are being now taken. And will be made sure that because of it delt with now.

I decided to go with another storage facility because my rent was raise twice within 6 months on an outside unit that is not climate control or needs any special care and I was paying almost a $150 month for a 10x10 and now I have a 10x15 it's inside and climate control and I only pay $109 month.

They made using the trucks, securing my unit for move in and moving out of my unit, an absolute breeze. I truly appreciate the assistance provided and would definitely use this location again, as well as recommend it to a friend. I probably would have rated this facility at a minimum of Average if it wasn't for a couple of unfortunate, isolated, events. Those events are as follows: 1) U-haul double dipped on my autopay payment for my storage unit. The resulting double-dip caused a chain reaction of subsequent overdrafts on my bank account that cost me hundreds of dollars in fines and about 4 hours worth of telephone calls to get things ironed out. After placing numerous calls with U-haul to get my money restored to my account, an agent finally issued a refund ticket and told me I needed to wait 3 to 5 business days to have the funds credited. I explained to this gentleman that this matter was urgent, as I now had a week to survive with zero money in my bank account. He assured me he had it taken care of. Three business days later, still no refund. I called back to U-haul only to discover the original agent essentially allowed the refund request ticket to remain in a state of limbo and that I would now need to start over with the 3 to 5 business day wait, while they move the ticket out of limbo state and relaunch the process. Completely unacceptable! 2) When I went to the actual U-haul location to discuss the matter in person and explain the unfortunate series of events that transpired because of the U-haul double dip error, the female manger at the counter was personable. But the other gentleman at the counter gave me attitude and told me that I needed to take this matter up with my bank. Well, that was a fatal mistake on his part. This issue was not my bank's responsibility to mitigate. This was unquestionably U-haul's responsibility to make good on. And this gentleman's response was a 180 degree departure from what I was willing to hear from U-haul that day. So, the next day I vacated my storage unit. And that marks the end of my relationship with U-haul. And I will be sure to spread the word about my negative U-hual storage unit experience any time I am provided the opportunity!

A bit of a mixup on dropoff location, but resolved quickly. The oak creek drop off was busy. When asked why it took 30 mins to check in/out 4 customers was told the computers were slow and crashing.
