Outstanding customer service. Store manager (I believe her name was Linda) was fantastic.

TY BAll good. We dropped off at night, but was able to park the truck and trailer in separate spaces.
DAN RLikely nothing. The physical layout of this site is narrow and difficult to maneuver vehicles with a large turning radius. The equipment I rented (car dolly) ended up having a brake/signal light go out after I picked it up. This was discovered after loading the car I was towing, and the light failed to work when I did a pre-tow light check. Attempts to get the light working failed. I know it was not the tow vehicle as the lights worked when I picked up the car dolly and when I hooked up to another trailer at home afterwards. I will not be returning to this location for any future rentals. On the plus side, the customer service representatives were quick to get me back out on the road at pick up and return.

Terry DNot sure there is room for improvement for this location! This particular store has saved me more than once. They reliably have the equipment needed. I have reserved twice at other locations but have been let down and left in a lurch twice due to my reservations being unable to be fulfilled at the last minute. I was lucky enough to be helped by Linda and she was fantastic! Funny, happy, she seemed like she really enjoyed her job, despite dealing with a not so nice customer before me. While I usually try to rent moving vehicles from close to where I am moving, I will go straight to this location going forward.
Kendra KThe system was down and shanita said " sorry, I can't help you" nothing else just looking at me like 'oh well tuff luck!'.. Staff was not pleasant and didn't seem to enjoy the job. I had to call customer service myself from right there in the office and they helped over the phone to check out the transport. We were told we couldn't take the transport that we inspected ourselves -they made us swap out and we got a blowout on the freeway with the one they made us take and almost had an accident -waited 4 hrs for roadside and was forced to rent a $120 motel room and because we had to finish unloading the next day we missed Easter with the family. Terrible experience.

Shannon QThe equipment was not properly maintained and water leaked all over our belongings. Then everything I tried to explain the situation to staff they told me that I should have waterproofed everything. They even approved of me purchasing and repairing the trailer myself. Frankly: I didn't rent an enclosed trailer so that I had to shrink-wrap everything. I could have just used my personal flatbed and saved the $100 for the rental and $85 for the parts/tools to fix it. Roadside Assistance was A+ in their customer service. Unfortunately the responding vendor was confrontational, dismissed us, and left. The SDM got involved and they offered a truck, but we would have to trailer the equipment over an hour away. We are very displeased with our experience and are in the process of an insurance claim for damages and the cost to remediate them.

When I mentioned it to an employee they just said yeah it’s tricky. Sounds like a way for them to get you to purchase their locks if you ask me. But the ultimate reason I’m not storing my stuff at this facility… The online move in process would’ve been great, but Nick (dark long haired outside grunt worker) at the facility threatened to call the cops on me due to his incompetence. I asked for a refund and went elsewhere. Rude people shouldn’t have jobs where they interact with the public. Please train your incompetent staff about U-Haul’s online processing and procedures to prevent this happening to further customers.
Stephanie P | Online Move InUhaul gives you the option to do everything online to get a storage unit…that being said I was very shocked when I arrived, I entered the gated area with the code that was emailed. I had some trouble getting the unit door open. I asked Nick(the grunt worker) for some assistance. He was very rude and abrasive. I showed him all the stuff uhaul had sent me online to move into the unit. He claimed that he had no record of me in his system. He told me that if I didn’t go to the front office and refill out all of the paperwork(essentially paying for the unit again) that the cops would be getting involve. Considering they should’ve had a list of reservations with my name listed since I reserved the unit days in advance and that this employee shouldn’t been more aware of U-Haul’s policy’s to complete the units only. This facility also has no parking for bigger uhaul trucks and is not convenient to access. I would recommend any other place over this facility. I hope Nick receives the extra training and support he needs to have successful customer interactions.

After finding out it was inside I purchased a flat dolly to help move because I was by myself. Then found out the unit had some really nice carts when I got in there. ( I wish the employees had told me this before I bought the dolly) but I’m a rookie and will ask from now on. It is clean, seems secure, and the staff is professional.

I would often times sit with button pressed changing positions for the gate to open. A few times employees noticing the trouble would get the gate open before the remote did. Every employee for the 6 years where friendly and helpful. The customer service was excellent!!!!!!!!

JEFFREY C | Online Move InOver priced storage units, and unfriendly staff that let our alarms go off every time we came because they didn't give us a code to the second storage unit or fix the remotes. We also didn't have access to the second storage unit online and could not pay it without waiting on the phone for twenty minutes, and they refused to fix that either. They also made us drive thirty minutes to Boise to drop off equipment so they wouldn't have to. There's no good parking, and hard to get into and they put both of our storage units far away from each other. The only thing convenient were the carts. Disregarding the dirt turn around gravel area in the back that got something in my new tire. Not to mention the inside of the facility lights automatically turn off if it doesn't sense anyone for maybe ten minutes, when I was in the back of my storage unit on top of some things and fell because they neglected/failed to tell me that. Overall below average storage facility due to the inconveniences, damage and staff otherwise it's a clean facility. I've even tried calling them or going in to fix some of these things but nothing worked.

All I got was "the contract says..." what a bunch of crap, not pro-rating charges. Then after I realized it and asked for my unit back I was told I would have to pay for another month. So now you can re-rent my unit and get paid twice. I will never ever use Uhaul again. You totally smell of GREED.

tina c | First ImpressionsThe storage facility itself seemed safe and well lit. However, the staff was incredibly rude. The man who initially helped us with our storage rental had no kind tone at all. There was no pleasantness and he was very abrupt, seeming annoyed that we were even there. His communication skills were severely lacking and when I would ask to clarify something, he would snap back at me with a response. For example, my boyfriend and I were standing in front of him and my name is on the rental but my boyfriends card was on the rental. The man, while looking down, abruptly said "I need to see an ID" I asked if he needed mine or my boyfriends. He looke dup, rolled his eyes, signed and said rudely "Well, it's your name on the rental isn't it? Guess that means I need yours, doesn't it?." And then wen back to what he was doing. The attitude continued for the entire rental situation. We decided to cancel our reservation immediately due to the service. I don't want to give money to that kind of service nor do I feel comfortable leaving my belongings in a facility run by someone with that sort of attitude. We made sure to tell others not to go to that facility as well. IN addition, we also returned our 26' uhaul rental from our one way move to this facility and received rude guest service from the older lady who worked at the facility. Her tone was extremely condescending. She got in the truck and said "So you couldn't fill the tank?" I said oh itw as only at half a tank when we picked it up Her reply was very condescending tone "Well, that's not half a tank baby-girl" Um, I am a 46 year old mom and grandmother. I have a college degree and lots of life experience, I do not appreciate being talked down to by her. It was a hair of a mark under the half. We will never use this facility again.

In the past I have had bad experiences with other uhaul locations but this one was great. I just want you to know that Linda goes above and beyond and that this location is a good example of how I would imagine a uhaul should be run. The check in/out processes were easy and quick. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable and professional. They clearly care about the customer. I’m telling you, it is SO much better than any other uhaul I can remember ever visiting. I don’t normally leave reviews but this was such a positive experience I felt the need. Also, by the way, I was never asked to leave a review.

When we arrived with a Uhaul truck full of furniture and a tight time frame, the manager said the unit was rented to another person, even though we had a confirmation. He shrugged it off like it was not his problem and told us to try another location. Although the second location was a lot more helpful, he also had no units. When we arrived in Nampa (30 minutes away and our 3rd attempt), Linda was extremely helpful and got us a large, clean storage unit and was very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend her Nampa storage unit to anyone in the area!

I called to ask about pulling in as we are new trailer owners and backing up is a bit scary. Linda wasn’t able to pick up the call and I didn’t leave a message, but within 5 minutes she called me back anyhow and gave us great advice so we didn’t have to back up our rig. I was impressed! She was very professional and had a great sense of humor which our family appreciates!!! It is a little drive for us, but well worth it. We will be sharing our experience with friends and highly recommend working with Linda.
