Debby LExtremely Disorganized; staff does not give full instructions; reserved vehicle not ready at pickup time (being cleaned); Drop off instructions also disorganized - entered line for drop off (was 2nd vehicle in line); we could identify that there was someone in the drivers seat of the vehicle in front; after waiting a while we had to get out and look inside the vehicle in front of us (staff appeared to be sleeping); he gave us instructions to leave the vehicle there with the key inside and it would be checked in. After 2 hours, it was not checked in and I had to call the 800 number to close out the reservation.

Quintel GWhile installing the harness, they installed a heavy duty power wire for my mobility lift that I supplied, at no additional charge Since that had to run the wire harness from the receiver to the battery anyway, it wasn't an issue.

DOCIMA DMargate UHAUL was great! But, my original location that I drove to and had a reserved storage unit at, did NOT in fact have a storage unit available. They told me to call and try another location. They did not help at all. I had to now drive out of my way to Margate and then deal with a $200 fee for a different drop off location bc the reservation I made was not honored.

Cory FThis was my first time U-Haul rental. I told to the lady on the desk that I will be moving a single home refrigerator and thats it. She told me, size 15 would be fine with that purpose. We did all the contract and I got the keys then I am shocked, size 15 is a really big truck which I never needed (in the meantime the shop was about to close and guys were just leaving the office so I had no chance to go back and modify my contract). So I took it but with the information given, I think the lady at the desk should offer me regular Ford Transit or similar truck, not a 15. This is an obvious 'overselling' don't know if intentional or not.

Also signs to better explain or update your process when returning a vehicle. If you are not going to have someone available at all times during business hours then you must be more clear with the next steps you must take to complete the return process.

Too much hassle with taking your picture with your phone using your app the app didn't work I use three credit cards they're all good only one worked after using it twice too much hassle for checking in

A dumpster that he had to open to allow me to put the items in. The manager, Angel then came along yelling that it was not allowed and that I had to pay a dumping fee. he was rude and disrespectful when it was his staff that caused the issue. An issue that did not need to occur if his staff was trained correctly. So while the facility itself is okay, I would not recommend it based on the staff that is there. I believe that I am owed a refund as my action was only done after being given permission.

janet n | Online Move Inthis is the worst experience I've had with U-haul, number 1 when I picked up the truck they told me that I could return it anywhere that I only had to call when I was here, once I was here they told me no, I have to pay a fine, then I got to the place where I reserved the storage and they told me no, that what I reserved is not available, I had already reserved it more than a week before, when I arrived at the place, the employees were on their desk almost asleep very badly service at that location. I called customer service to help me, Erika answered and told me that she had already helped me with the truck that she couldn't do anything else with the storage, she told me to talk to the store manager and he wasn't there, I don't understand because they told me that the place was already reserved and when I called they told me that a reservation does not guarantee that the place will be available, really a bad experience because I have had a place in Riverhead with you and I never had a problem, another detail, when I arrived at the place inside the storage there was rat poop, I don't know if there is rat poo in the place but it looks dirty, I really rented it because I had nowhere else to take my things but I wouldn't recommend the place to anyone

I didn’t realize it was an inside unit, so I went back and asked for another one. This time the one 2471 that I was assigned, had a lock on it. At this time it was 7pm and the agents refused to let me inside. Finally, a representative came to the door to tell me they were closed and I told them that the unit I was assigned, was being occupied. She proceeded to assign me another unit and to tell me about a unit that I am being charged for that I do not own. The representative then assigns me the unit that I already have possession of. I told her over and over that, that unit2453 is already occupied by me. She didn’t believe me so she agreed to walk to the unit, once she saw that it did have a lock, on it. She told me to just use the unit next to it , that had a green tag but it was not showing up in her system. So I have to spend today and the Uhaul to try to get all of this mess figured out.
