The women that work the front end that I have dealt with at the location on Princess in Kingston, have been phenomenal. They are fast and thorough.
Paul BThe seatbelt signal on my truck was broken and kept beeping even when both seatbelts were secured. I called the main UHAUL line to determine if I should take it back and they decided to try and have the service team come to my home first but then called an hour later to say it wasn’t possible and I’d have to take it back to the location and get a new one, and by that time the truck was loaded. When I could have just taken it back at the beginning. So that was frustrating but that part wasn’t this location.

Alex CI have a problem with the amount of the receipt that you are considering, where you are applying an extra charge for gas since I left the needle in the same place where it was delivered to me, I usually take photos of the board to avoid problems and this time it was not the exception, I would like to know why the charge? I suggest that to avoid misunderstandings, you always deliver the tank full and return it in the same way, since it is easier to fill the tank than to calculate the consumption. William CMy storage locker was robbed twice. I lost around 2k worth of stuff (a bike, and some electronics). I have insurance on my Peterborough locker, so I thought I had insurance on this one because I didn't sign an agreement here until after I was robbed- so I assumed it was under the same agreement. Since I don't have insurance here, I'm just out of luck, and I lost all those possessions. No follow up from the manager, no credits given, they wouldn't even show me the video. The staff was nice, but largely ineffective, and didn't take any ownership over the problem. Honestly, the Peterborough U-Haul compared to Kingston is night and day in terms of quality.

timothy aI picked up a u-haul truck for a one way trip and the engine light was illuminated. The staff were quick to check that it was related to a faulty O2 sensor. They quickly swapped me for a different truck but this truck had the same issue. I eventually just took the truck as I was advised it was okay to proceed with this light illuminated. Staff were great throughout the process but picking up two trucks with the same problem was annoying.

sherie sThis location rented me unsafe equipment. When I picked up the truck there was a check engine light showing. The store employee checked the code with his diagnostic tool and cleared it without looking it up. He said that it was "probably an oxygen sensor fault... happens all the time... don't worry". I had to pick up a trailer in Ottawa, and the check engine light came on again. The Ottawa U-Haul store employee checked the code on his computer and confirmed that the truck was un-rentable in that condition. Luckily they had another vehicle to swap out. Bottom line, the Kingston store sent me on a one-way rental to Winnipeg, driving unsafe equipment. I won't be using this store again.

There was about 30 minutes of just waiting to pay. For some people, that wait could have made them quite irate. Mike NGive back a refund of money when you give client 2nhrs and they only use 1hr. Plus, online it says you can use a bank debit Visa at the rental yet you can't so I was forced into a uhaul for $50 when I reserved a van at $20. I only used vehicle for 7km and again paid $50

ISSOUF KTrailer was not clean like a U-haul truck would be, but this was irrelevant. The trailer was well equipped and maintained and worked very well for moving my disabled vehicle. An easy and positive experience both renting the trailer, picking it up, using it, and returning it. Well done U-Haul.

I live 7 hours away so needed to speak to someone at the facility. I called at least 40 times at different times and no one ever answers the phone. It goes to the call center. The wait time can be an hour to speak to someone and then they are unable to answer the question because they are not at the facility. I even tried speaking to my local uhaul to see if they could get through. The answer was no. Even though it is a pandemic, I think the local phone should be answered. Thanks
