byron mThe APP suuuucks. It gave me tons of issues the last time, too. I specifically made sure to pick the truck up at 9 this time to make sure i can talk to someone alive. Both times so far when trying to use the app to pick upnor drop off it failed over and over again and wasted a bunch of time. Thankfully i got to drop it off this time while people were still in the office and that was an great help.

Erica GI originally reserved a different size truck at a different location they called me to tell me the day before that they did not have that truck at that location that I could get a different size truck then offer a discount or anything for the inconvenience then I said okay I'll get a different size truck and then they told me they didn't have that one either and that I had to go to a different location so it was very frustrating the representative didn't seem to give a damn and when I went to pick up my truck the customer service wasn't great either

roland g | Overall ExperienceI booked a one-way move at a different location, but I was called the day before and told my pickup was moved to this location due to truck availability. This location was nice but was also 30 minutes away from my home, and this last-minute change was disruptive. It should be U-Haul’s responsibility to move trucks where they are reserved/requested at, not the customer’s responsibility to shift their service - especially not on <24-hour notice.

Jacqueline DI got stuck on the elevator at 10:03. Thank goodness I had my phone and wasn’t alone my partner was able to press the button from the outside and get me out. I pressed the help button and got no response. 3 times! That was a traumatic experience and I am very disappointed.

My friend came in one day after me and rented a larger unit, had longer access hours, and was informed about the parking garage in the back and given an access card. That said, the almost two years I rented my unit were great.

Aisha SI was asked about the pre-existing dents when I returned the moving truck. I had to show the agent that I took pictures of the truck to show its condition before renting it. I was told that dents in the truck had been documented before I got it, but I was told that was not the case when I returned it. If I had not taken personal pictures, I would have been accused of causing damage. I’ve been a customer with Uhaul for over a year, and I don't appreciate how I was treated during the transaction.

It was recommended I try a different location out in Markham; however I quickly ran out the door after I noticed considerable evidence of rodents because rodents did a number & destroyed everything at another rival storage facility 🙁. Though I saw rodent traps were put out at a different facility I decided to store items, I was proud to see a cleaning lady that helps maintain the grounds. I bought insurance & was assured it covers up to $1,000 by rodents. Let's hope I never have an issue w/ rodents! I also noticed ants that appear to be coming from cracks in the foundation so I hope there's regular pest control measures in place to keep ants away too🚫🐜🐹

The issue is that the person that worked the day i moved in didn’t check me in properly or give me a U-Haul max card. This was a huge inconvenience because after loading the elevator with all my items the elevator didn’t move so I had to leave my items in the elevator so she can give me access to the elevator. The next day I came back and had no access to the elevator. But this time a guy checked me in properly and gave me a U-Haul max card and explained the check in properly.
Shantiera C | Online Move InWe reserved a truck and a storage pickup for 2pm, got there on time didn’t leave til 3pm waiting on the check in process and truck, come back to put our things in storage they told us we don’t have one reserved when i had the reservation on paper, had to get a bigger storage (more money), no carts were available for free or to rent, so we had to carry stuff from the truck to the elevator and to the storage unit which was really far. Only to get to the storage unit and it was already occupied! Had to go back downstairs to get assigned to another storage and move the things from the already used storage to the new one. This process took up hours of our truck rental time. One worker was helpful but everyone else was rude and clueless!

Had to get another unit that was larger and I was charged for the first month when told I was getting 30 days free. Was given a credit back and I think I deserve two months free. I started about 8.40p and was heavily delayed as there wasn’t enough carts or other equipment to move items upstairs where my unit was located; After finishing taking several loads up, I had been delayed further as the elevators were extremely slow. At the 10pm mark not realizing that the access changed, I went back to the elevator to go back down to get my last load and waited on the elevator for 15 minutes. I then called for assistance but no one ever responded. I walk down from 3rd floor through the stairs and the hallway was completely dark. I missed a step and fell. I got outside realizing I hadn’t lock my unit but upon trying to go up and close/lock my unit, I never could. I had to get up early the next morning and get there as soon as it open having concerns with my unit being open and needed to finishing unloading still needing to turn in my uhaul truck.

They gave me a storage that was occupied by someone else. (4648) I then retain another unit and informed them which unit it was. They never made the correction, so I was forced to pay $200 for a unit I never had and my unit was only $95 plus $10 for insurance. I informed the personal several times in person and by phone that the had me under the wrong unit. Everytime they said they'll correct it, but never did. So basically I was paying someone else storage bill. Then when I went to move out my storage they had the audacity to have a lock on it, but said my storage was listed as unoccupied, so if that's the case WHY DID THEY HAVE A LOCK ON TOP OF MY LOCK?? Smh. I will never use that particular Uhaul storage again (BRIDGEPORT)

Then, when we told manager we were assigned a new storage space that was smaller, and that had a large pillar which made it even smaller. She had told us it was the same size and it was not. Dynetta W | First ImpressionsWhen I came to empty my storage unit, the lock did not work. Two U-Haul employees were unable to open it, and the lock needed to be sawed open. This delayed the emptying of the unit by one hour, and I had to hire the movers for an extra hour. When I asked the lady at the desk for compensation, she was unwilling to offer me any. I have had this storage unit for almost two years and regularly paid my dues on time. I expect much more professional and efficient service from a big company like U-Haul.

Saved my back from moving to the 3rd floor! 😀 2- I rented a van for my small items that I needed an extra day. The staff was really nice. 3rd- 2 young men are the reason I would return. One of them stayed on the phone with me 10 minutes while I waited for my daughter to bring my keys. That was really nice. The other young man was friendly, helpful and answered all my questions and made me laugh even when I was scared when I saw the mouse trap. No mice came home with me. They did when I used another company. Great job Pershing Uhaul!!! I'll see You all again on my next adventure!😀
