Staff is great

Scott HMake sure their is gas in the truck.when I picked it up on Tuesday morning ,I had to stop and put gas into it before I reach my destination.. the gage read almost empty. I better not get charged for that.

Luis REverything about this location is abysmal. I spent 7 HOURS arguing with these people, including the manager Rose, because they refused to deliver my ubox on my paved driveway. They said they could only drive on paved roads, so after I sent photos and even explained to them IN PERSON that I do in fact have a paved road, they just continued lying, saying that since I don’t live in a subdivision they will sink 3 inches and will get stuck. These people are absolutely insane. You can’t make this stuff up. I will end this by saying Candice was extremely helpful. Thank you so much, Candice! And the woman who delivered my ubox (I’m sorry, I don’t remember your name :/) was also amazing. Everyone else needs to be fired! If you need to use this location BEWARE.

David CFront end staff was great and the only reason I left 5 stars. It's a rental truck, one doesn't expect many frills. It was clean, got me from point A to point B with no trouble. i was slightly taken aback by the lackadaisical young man who was to deliver the truck in the parking lot. Seemed he was more interested in taking selfies than getting the equipment to me. Kind of a downer. I guess I'm still getting used to the seeming lack of work ethic and give a care demeanor in some of the Gen Z clan.

One with his pants below his underwear told the counter lady he was "on break" when she asked him to pull the trailer. It was 9:00 a.m.! The second was sitting in the back of the lot at the trailer playing on his phone. I stood at my truck for about 10 minutes waiting for someone before driving to the back of the lot and finding the trailer.

George YWhen I got to the location the 3 employees were too busy goofing off. No one called to let me know that there was no appliance dolly. I would have went to a different location. They handed me the key and said “I pulled the truck up” no verifying the mileage or the gas. I thought nothing of it until I went to return the truck and noticed that the mileage was WAYYYY off. So I checked the tag, and equipment number and they were different than what was on my paperwork. I tried to call the location but they were already closed. I called customer service and they were snotty. “Why didn’t you call us sooner?” Ummm because I just noticed it when I returned the truck???! The seal on the bag on the inside of the truck was already broken, there was blanket taken out and just tossed into the bed of the truck. I better not be charged for that. I rented a set of blanket from this location on my own. The paperwork said the truck had 196,000 miles…. The truck had 174,000. Se clearly I didn’t drive negative miles… that’s impossible. Worst uhaul experience I’ve ever had.

alex cA little understaffed and under trained. Wait at the counter was 15-20 minutes. Upon returning no instructions as to what to do after the return. I was told where to park the trailer I rented after I hunted someone down .employee unhooked the trailer and walked away. I returned to the office and there was four people waiting for help at the desk and only one employee. I didn’t want to be rude and cut in front of everyone else but after another 10-15 minutes. I Finally asked is there anything I have to do after returning the trailer
Douglas J$488.00 for a one way rental of a 6x12 trailer is a little steep for only using it for 3 days seems a partial refund should be expected and NO veterans discount is another down fall for uhaul espically saying how they support the military. Think I may look into other alternatives if I mo e long distance again.

Marvin GMy moving helpers on 2/22 were HORRIBLE!!! Items were just thrown in Ubox without any order or uniformity. Because of the poor packing, I had to purchase an extra Ubox. Upon arrival several items were broken due the way they were thrown into Ubox. Movers didn’t use any furniture pads. Pads arrived still in original packaging. Also U haul did not have a forklift driver on the day of my move, so the wait was over 3 hours to load the boxes. Very disappointed

I was out the door in minutes, returned the truck at the time I said, entered some information online from my phone, dropped off keys and went home happy with the entire transaction. Would highly recommend to anyone that needs a UHaul .

Mark FThe young man who checked us in had been on the job for six days and required considerable assistance. No one told us we or highlighted that we needed to return the truck with the same level of gas in it as with rental cars. The truck was dirty, a previous renter had left a pair of old flip flops in the passenger seat and they were there when we got in; the young guy who checked us in and brought us the truck left them there. When we returned the truck Barrell Davis, who was receiving it, told us we should have gassed it up and showed us that in the agreement, which I had left folded on the dashboard. So, we drove across the street and gassed it up. The truck had was 136,000 miles on it, was worn and not terribly clean, but it worked.

Judy WThe uhaul agent saw I had a Texas license and said I hope my trailer isn’t going to be going to Texas. I told him, I believe I had a in-town (Brandon,FL) and you can verify on the order. He told me good, I don’t want my trailers going to a state with an asshole governor like Abbott. Politics needs to stay out of business transactions because this is a good way to lose business.

James BThe rate for renting the truck was WAY too high. I have rented before, taking a truck one-way across Florida (130 miles) and it was only about $150 This time I rented it 2 way but instead of being twice the amount of money it was 4 times as much.

CRYSTAL BI rent in the online order 2 dollies and when I go to pick up the truck the store don’t have any because prior costumers don’t returned them. I need to move appliances and furnitures by hand.
Ramphys RVehicles were parked on top of each other. Workers seemed like it was normal and they “knew” as they stated. The truck door barley shut as well as a screw was the lock for the door… yeah sketchy. When we arrived due to trucks being parked on each other took an hour off our time to even get off lot as well as had to stop for gas because it was practically empty. Overall worst rental with u-haul i have ever experienced.

Customer service called and left message. No response. It was too far away to walk with a small child. I had to wait until the movers came and ask if one could have staff come unlock storage. Staff told me I was can take green tag off myself and waited for me to do so. Once I couldn't get it off, she took it off got in truck burning rubber , turn music up loud and driving backward. I was so confused?

Sherry C | First ImpressionsYour staff ripped me off all I wanted was for a bigger storage unit and 1 of your employees is lazy she didn't want to look and see if there was a bigger unit then she asked me for my phone number she said she would call me back after she reviewed my contact I never heard anything back from her so I called the office number and got customer service and they assured me they had a unit that size I was looking for said it was $124.00 so I go back down there and same lady that I talk to on the phone was the 1 helping me out for about 5 minutes till another employee come in and she told her to help me out she got the room ready wanted $199 it I told I go somewhere else because I already talked to someone else about it and price was $124 I tell I'm moving out she said go ahead well give you your money back cause I just got done paying my rent 3 days later after I acquired another storage unit from another storage place after the disgusting attitude and work ers that you have that tried to rip me off still haven't got my money back and I'd like to see them fired cuz when I went back up there again they tried to say that I've never been there before I've been there for 6 months plus renting a 5x10 room and I was just trying to do was rent a bigger 10x10 and customer service said y'all had a 10x10 available for $124 and that it was going to be a little less because I've already paid my rent so there's definitely a problem down there cuz they definitely got my money and I'm tired of it I've been lied to and y'all supposed to be a great company great companies don't put up with workers like that

She could Not adjust the prorated rental amount even after customer service advised me it would be done after my move out! I paid a full month and then moved out of the units a couple days later! I called to confirm I would receive a credit and was told YES, at the facility after everything is moved out, someone will check it and then credit me but that did not happen! ALSO, the MAIN ISSUE- 2 smart TVs were Broken!!!!! Both screens appear to have been kicked/rolling door closed on them or someone walked by and knocked into my unit! Both TVs were the last items in and my other 4 TVs were in the unit next door as I had TWO UNITS. I’m very upset and now had to file a claim! No one would assist at the location! The GM Mike Powell couldn’t even be located for hours while we were moving out of the units! I’ve left messages and no response! Unprofessional and they did not make sure my items were safe in the 2 months I had my belongings stored!! Had to rent 24ft Uhaul truck and while loading it began to rain and the roof of the enclosed truck LEAKED ON MY THINGS! Absolute WORST EXPERIENCE! STILL PENDING A RESPONSE FROM THE GM, Mgmt, customer service…someone!!!!

Johna W | First ImpressionsOnly thing that lets down such a large facility is only 1 elevator, moving in was fine as it was quiet and we got done in under 4 hours - move out was nearer 6 hours due to waiting for elevator and others with large loads who were loading the elevator and blocking the way Also we had booked a 20x10 and were given 2 10x10's which is similar in size but 15ft ladders will not fit (however you try) into a 10ft space so we ended up having up put them in the re-use and now will have to buy more at our own expense If it's listed as a 20x10 please be sure you have them - others will have the same problem along the way

KEITH P | First ImpressionsThe space that I reserved was supposed to be a 10 x15 when I signed the agreement and was given access to the space it was much smaller and caused me to have to discard some of the items I needed to store. I then received a rude voicemail from a staffer at Uhaul stating that they put a lock on my unit because it wasn't secured. What I came to know is the unit that wasn’t secured was the space that I wasn’t given access to and non of my belongings occupied that unit. I was also told that I would be responsible for paying for this space because it was assigned to me. Also after vacating the facility on 7/22/23 I’ve received several emails about failed attempts to collect a monthly storage fee for units that I’m not occupying. I occupied unit 153 from 6:25/2023 - 7/22/2023 with one free month of storage included in a One Way truck rental that I completed on 6:25/2023 from Ocoee Fl. A message was left for the Gm regarding the issue with the storage space and received no response.

Maribel P | Overall ExperienceI requested a ground floor unit, which was confirmed. Upon arrival, I was told that only 2nd floor units were available. The associate walked us to the two units assigned to us (they didn't actually have the size that had been requested and confirmed so we had to use 2 units). Unfortunately, those two units were occupied. We waited for the associate to assign us 2 new units, again on the 2nd floor, and once we began unloading we saw there were many available units on the first floor. The entire process was filled with mistakes, confusion, and delays. Our moving helpers had to leave to do another job, so we were forced to wait another 2.5 hours for them to return before we could even begin unloading. The staff were great, but the process needs much improvement.

The crew outside that preped, deliver and recieved the vehicle on my return was awesome. I didn't get thier names, however these guys deserve a shout out.They were awesome!! My vehicle was clean, and ready when they said it would be.The move in to my storage space was smooth and easy.
