Cindy KThe key was in the wrong lock box when we got there and also I didn't know the agent was going to call me so that should be somewhere because it comes up as a spam call.
Regan WWe did self check out and the directions were very clear. It was dark out when we returned the truck and the place was very well lit and safe

Deborah TFirst we had to drive to a longer location out of out way. I understand things happen. I got thr email for the reservation pick up was at 9 am. Got there it was not opened no one was there. Rang a bell nothing. Went over to a drop box and called. Gentleman answered walked me through opening drop boxex and all but 1 had a key which was not our size of truck. After him calling someone that Gentleman showed up. It did put us behind. I think we were suppose to check in at a drop box that process should have been told. And then not having the key was not good. As well as there hours are posted on door someone should have been there.

MAT AStore hours were stated as open until 3pm. I got there approximately 2:30pm and no one was there. I needed to call the number found on google and the guy said to just drop off the trailer. Not very Professional at all.
Stephen YThe mobile app is a joke. This is my third time using it and it never completes the pick up process. The main problem is it can never find my location. It's always popping up as I'm at the wrong location even though i'm sitting right in the parking lot. Once you figure out how to skip over location finding, it continues to ask the same questions that i answered the day early in the pre-pick up process. Once you stumble thru that it will ask to locate the vehicle. Which I've done all 3 times and the app stops right there. I've had to call customer service every time to get the key box # and location.

Shawn CThe key to my truck was in the wrong box and then I had to wait 20 minutes for someone to come and retrieve the key from the right box. It took me 45 minutes from my pick up time to actually get my truck and get on the road. Be more diligent with your customers.
SADIE HWe could not reach the person at the drop off place. We called the number given and nobody answered. Called UHAUL and they walked us through the process.
THOMAS KNot sure if it was due to the upcoming Memorial holiday, but I couldn't find anyone there during office hours. The process was user-friendly, but I had issue uploading a camera image of damage that I found prior to renting. I needed to extend my time and the process was simple. Overall a positive experience.
Rickey MThis was an overall smooth process. I chose to use my mobile phone to pickup cargo van. Uhaul communicated with me thru text, email, and phone call. Every detail was obviously carefully thought thru, easy to understand, and made it so no mistakes could happen on my end, as long as I read and understood what I was responsible for.

Thomas RThe app was a bit wonky. The screen would not scroll to view above the keyboard on my phone. Several times I would complete an activity and it would just take me back to the dashboard, there was no confirmation that information was received or activity completed. When I checked in my truck, I really needed a "thanks, you're all done" message, but it instead booted me back to the dashboard after taking 1 of the required 2 photos. Outside of the app, the service was great and the staff I spoke with through support were great.
Julianne FFraudulent Business Practices. They charged us over $800 for a 2 day in-town move with 58 miles put on the truck. They do not verify the fuel level or mileage on the truck in-person. When I arrived to pick up the truck I made note of the disparages, took pictures and sent then to U-Haul. I have called the store 3 times and left voicemails that have gone unanswered. The store in Paw Paw is not manned, instead this is a second location run by the same people from the Mattawan store. I have called and left complaints with U-Haul Corporate and I am still waiting on a refund. I will be making a complaint to the Better Business Bureau as well as the Attorney General of Michigan's office.
Daniel HCheck in process is overkill. You asked for photos of my license five times. Then you wanted a bunch of people's numbers.
