The Truck Shop USA location is great. I have rented UHaul equipment at this location multiple times and everyone is friendly, helpful and efficient.

The information on the pamphlet that was given to me should have been a little bit more specific as to what to do with the key. I was a little bit lost as to what to do. It was my very first time renting and reserving a U-Haul truck. By the way, my reservation was changed about three times and the guy I spoke to on Saturday didn’t feel as accommodating as I had been promised the night before. The lady I spoke to on Friday said that the managers would help me and that I had to call after 10 AM. There were no managers after 10 AM. They all took off before then on Saturday morning. Not very customer friendly at all!

I repeat.. I only checked yes I would refer to a friend because everyone moves. Unfortunately, its a lot of trouble to rent a uhaul and NO ONE takes responsibility for anything. I laughed at the last person I spoke to and said let me guess.. Thats not part of your job. Funny how NO ONE at uhaul knows what is going on. I hope to never need uhaul again..

Wayyy overcharged. Billed me for 20 miles driving. I only drove 9! Billed me for 2 dollies and 12 furniture pads, and we didn't use any - never even broke the zip ties holding those. This is $30+ extra that I'm being billed. These extra charges need to be reversed.

Okay, so, I have never in my life had to rent a truck to move anything, but I will never again go through uhaul for anything. When I first went to rent a truck, they literally had nothing available and the next place wouldn’t let me use cash, which is understandable, but really annoying. I only needed a truck for a 2 bedroom apartment but the only one they even had available for some reason was the biggest one they offer, so all of my belongings were knocked over everywhere and it was super frustrating for me to deal with. I had noticed a sticker for a free storage unit for a month which I thought was awesome so i called and reserved one. When I’m about to leave to the storage unit, I check the address and it turned out they had booked one in a whole other state than where I needed it. I had then spent almost 2 hours on the phone, mostly on hold with a woman who was patient with my temper, but seemed like she was hardly there at all. By the time I get to the storage unit, I had stood in line for about a half hour while one of the workers was literally on a personal phone call. I then was charged an extra $5 for the smallest storage unit I’ve ever seen and an extra $10 for a lock that I will most likely never use again in my life. The man who told us which unit we had gave us the wrong number so we had to go back and wait in line for another 20 minutes to ask what our number really was. The building was the most poorly designed thing I had ever seen. The door had a small ridge so that basically everything on your dolly was set to fall off as soon as you get in the building unless you lifted the entire thing up. Our unit had a rat poison box in it which was exceptionally unsettling for me, and the unit itself was at least 6 inches smaller than what it was supposed to be. While sweeping out the truck, I noticed a sticker that said if it wasn’t sweeped out it they would charge me $25, and then noticed that at the end of the truck there’s a foot of a bunch of ridges that made it so difficult to sweep out and I basically can garuntee that they’re going to charge me regardless. I then spent $50 filling up the gas tank to where it says even though it literally wasn’t even filled up to that point when I was given the truck. The only time I didn’t have a problem during this experience was when i was returning it. Parking it was simple and the man who was working with me made it a quick process so I could get home quickly. The jist of it is that this company is the real life comparison of Eugine Krabs handing Squidward a bill for a list of a bunch of moronic things, such as breathing. It’s almost as if this company gives free Lobotomys to their workers.

Ashtray had a used cig butt in it. Cup holders were sticky. $0.99/mile is outrageous when you have to drive 20 miles round trip

It made it toAZ. Started out bad, wrong location , wrong size trailer trailer in poor condition. Second place was better, trailer worked got loaded up easier. We had to find the drop dealer in AZ. First time doing this, next time will know the process

We received no communication from this location and it was not the preferred location we selected. And the counter person was rude and acted as if we did not already register which we did including driver's license number and vehicle information.

I requested a 17' truck at a different location and an earlier pickup time. I was given a new location that was 20 miles further away (40 extra miles I had to pay for), a 2 hour later pickup time, and a smaller truck. Very poor customer service from person I talked to, to confirm reservation.

I put in gas and brought the has tank to the amount in was told however when it was read by the work he stated it was just below And that it should probably be waved however the individual checking me in did not waive it and charged me almost $5 for what was most likely not even a gallon off has needed to bring it up to the required amount

The person I dealt with at this location was not accommodating at all. From the start I reserved the truck at 4:45 pm but had reschedule it to a day before. I talked to customer service and they said my reservation starts at 4:45 pm but then I get an email from this location saying the truck is reserved for 9 am and I have to return it at the same time next day, giving me less hours for moving as I couldn't pick it up before 4:45. If you are in a customer service business, I believe customers should be dealt with in a nice manner. The person and this location was rude and not at all polite. I hope this comment has some affect on his approach on dealing with customers.

Did not care that I had to put oil in the Uhaul. Was not very friendly or sympathetic to the dangers of driving a vehicle long distances that wasn't properly maintained.

I actually reported my experience with the personnel at this drop off site; the man working there was of absolutely no help, he did not expect the vehicle in my presence and then made fun of me for an inquiry on the bill after they thought I had left. So childish and unprofessional.

This Location was fine. Although my original pick up location was Waupaca Mobil in WI, I was assured by the associate at that store and also by a U haul customer service representative that I would have a 20' truck there at 8am. I showed up at 9am on moving day to find out my pick up time was 3pm, and there wasn't even going to be ANY available truck. I was treated with an hour long interaction with most of it waiting, to find out I'd have to drive 30 miles to the next location to get a 5' smaller truck, they gave me a trailer and extra miles to compensate. But when I'm wasting time, daylight and gas money on my only moving day, and keeping moving help waiting, it was not soothing my nerves. I had to move half the night in the dark. I was not satisfied with uhaul this time and may give them another chance in the future as I'm sure this doesn't always happen but it was not a good experience and I'll use another company next time.
